Annise Parker is Running for County Judge; Former Judge William Bill McLeod Was Mistreated by Ellis and Hidalgo

Former Mayor Annise Parker (far right) is well prepared to take out Commissioner Rodney Ellis's "PUPPET," Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo (bottom left), if she chooses to run for re-election in next year's "SUPER TUESDAY," Democratic Party Primary scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2026. However, multiple sources have informed Aubrey R. Taylor Communications that Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo does not plan to run for re-election as the Harris County Judge, but instead is preparing to mount a bid to unseat our beloved United States Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia (TX-29), who is allegedly battling pancreatic cancer according to multiple sources. BLATANT MISTREATMENT... Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo and Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis are among the worst local politicians in Harris County, Texas. And Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee is a poor excuse for a man. Ellis and Lina used their official capacity to mistreat and publicly humiliate my former client and friend, former Judge William Bill McLeod, who made a simple mistake in his quest to expand his commitment to bring justice to more Texans. The "RESIGN TO RUN LAW" in the Texas Constitution is very clear in its intent regarding public officials having to resign to run for other elected positions in the state of Texas.

Commissioner Rodney Ellis and County Judge Lina Hidalgo are demonstrating lawlessness by circumventing the Texas Constitution

SECTION 65 - AUTOMATIC RESIGNATION ON BECOMING CANDIDATE FOR ANOTHER OFFICE. (a) This section applies to the following offices: District Clerks; County Clerks; County Judges; Judges of the County Courts at Law, County Criminal Courts, County Probate Courts and County Domestic Relations Courts; County Treasurers; Criminal District Attorneys; County Surveyors; County Commissioners; Justices of the Peace; Sheriffs; Assessors and Collectors of Taxes; District Attorneys; County Attorneys; Public Weighers; and Constables.

(b) If any of the officers named herein shall announce their candidacy, or shall in fact become a candidate, in any General, Special or Primary Election, for any office of profit or trust under the laws of this State or the United States other than the office then held, at any time when the unexpired term of the office then held shall exceed one year and 30 days, such announcement or such candidacy shall constitute an automatic resignation of the office then held, and the vacancy thereby created shall be filled pursuant to law in the same manner as other vacancies for such office are filled.

(Added Nov. 2, 1954; amended Nov. 4, 1958, and Nov. 2, 1999; Subsec. (a) amended Nov. 6, 2007; Subsec. (b) amended Nov. 8, 2011.) (TEMPORARY TRANSITION PROVISIONS for Sec. 65: See Appendix, Note 1.)

Aubrey R. Taylor Communications is making a "FORMAL REQUEST" for any African American who was considering making a bid to run for Harris County Judge as a Democrat to "STAND DOWN," and give former City Councilwoman, Controller, and Mayor Annise Parker a clear shot to earn the Democratic nomination on "SUPER TUEDAY." The deadline to file for a place to appear on the Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Democratic Party Primary ballot is Monday, December 8, 2025. Instead of a bunch of African Americans signing up to run for office on "SUPER TUESDAY," a better endeavor is for the "BLACK COMMUNITY" to launch a campaign to support the twenty-six (26) African American "DEMOCRATIC INCUMBENT JUDGES," who need to raise money, to fend off primary challengers, and make history as the largest contingent of African American nominees to win re-election in American history.

Elizabeth Thomas, one of the fraud victims who sought help from Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee, claims that she was victimized, betrayed, and double-crossed by Menefee. She has come forward to issue a warning to the people of the 18th Congressional District of Texas. Thomas believes that Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee will "SELL OUT THE PEOPLE" of the 18th Congressional District of Texas if he's elected on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. She also believes that Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee is a total fraud who must be exposed.

Elizabeth Thomas has provided an Update on Harris County Christian Menefee's Alleged Mistreatment of Fraud Victims

ELIZABETH THOMAS UPDATE©

There was a lawsuit in the County Court at Law No. 2, against Harris County, Constable Mark Herman Harris County Precinct 4, Deputy Constable Ramon Ruiz Harris County Precinct 4 for taking a fabricated fake "writ of possession" and using it to illegally evict us (Ernest Simpson, Omari Thomas, Jasmine Jarbis, Elizabeth Thomas etc) from our home on August 15, 2023, without any authority from any court at law.

On May 8, 2025, Judge Jim KOVACH issued an order enjoining anyone from interfering with Ernesto Simpson's rights to access and possession of the property. The order was served on both Menefee and Mark Herman, among others. On May 16, 2025, when Ernesto Simpson and others attempted to access and take possession of the property as per the court order, a Harris County Deputy Constable from Precinct 4 arrived and advised that anyone entering the property could be arrested. The Deputy Constable was served with a copy of the order, which provides that anyone who receives notice and service of the said order is restrained and enjoined from interfering with Simpson obtaining access to and possession of the property. The Constable looked at the Order, made a phone call, and stated that they take orders from the Harris County Attorney's Office.

The lawsuit was amended to add Menefee and to seek a temporary restraining order (TRO) restraining Menefee and Mark Herman, elected officials, as ordered by Judge Jim Kovach on May 8, 2025, instructing the constables to disregard it. In the process of setting the TRO for a hearing before Judge Kovach, Menefee moved the case to federal court.

We filed an emergency Remand Motion to get the case back to state court. In Federal Court the case has been assigned to United States District Judge Andrew S. Hannen, he has given Menefee and Herman until June 12, 2025, to tell the Court (i) what Court authorized the August 15, 2025, Writ of Possession and (ii) where they disobeying Judge Kovach May 8, 2025 order. As of this writing, they have not responded yet.

On June 6, 2025, when Attorney James Andersen when out to the property to execute judge Kovach May 8, 2025, on behalf of his client nd has a officer of the Court a "swat team" appeared at the property they literally tried to belittle and intimerdate Attorney Andersen by surrounding him nt given him a opportunity to ignored Judge Knovach May 8, 2025, the community are writing a petition for the court,

The Constables cited Attorney Andersen with a Trespass warning that he was on the property without authorization. Can you believe that?

Thank you

Former Prizefighter Eric Carr (bottom) married into "THE FOREMAN FAMILY" back when he was a teenager, and George Foreman IV was still a snotty-nose kid, running around the boxing gym. However, Eric Carr's marriage to Freeda George Foreman ended in a divorce, but not before a beautiful daughter was born to the young couple. Eric Carr, now a highly successful businessman, loves the people of the 18th Congressional District and wants them to choose the best person to lead the beloved district forward. Eric Carr, is planning to use his influence and knowledge learned from his mentor and friend, the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, to help State Rep. Jolanda Jones (top right), win the coveted 18th Congressional District of Texas.

As of today, the only candidates officially running for the 18th Congressional District of Texas are Christian Menefee, Amanda Edwards, Isaiah Martin, Cyrus Sajna, Carmen Maria Montiel. Steven Peter Filler, Robert Slater, Khristopher W. Beal, Derrel Sherrod Turner, Dr. James Joseph, Kivan Polimis, Earnest Clayton, Selena Samuel, TJ Baker, Ebony Rain Eatmon, Dr. Allen Berry, Zoe Cadore, Reyna Anderson, Corisha Rogers, Jolanda Jones, and Stephen Huey.

I’m Aubrey R. Taylor, the publisher of Houston Business Connections Newspaper, one of Texas's most formidable politically-focused publications. George Foreman IV has not Officially Entered the Race for CD-18; Jolanda Jones is Officially Running for Congress

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

It is a "FEDERAL CAMPAIGN VIOLATION" for a candidate running for the United States Congress to incur $5,000.00 in expenditures or raise $5,000.00 in campaign donations without filing their "STATEMENT OF CANDIDACY" with the Federal Election Commission (FEC). There are several candidates, including George Foreman IV, who have announced their candidacy to the public, and are running around attending forums, but have yet to officially enter the race by filing their "STATEMENT OF CANDIDACY" with the Federal Election Commission.

George Foreman IV announced his candidacy a few days before he made an appearance on "THE MICHAEL BERRY SHOW" on KTRH740AM, on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 9:15a.m., for an exclusive interview, asking for donations and support from Michael Berry's conservative radio audience. Yet, George Foreman IV has neglected to file his "STATEMENT OF CANDIDACY" with the Federal Election Commission. He has also failed to inform the people of the 18th Congressional District of Texas whether he plans to run for the vacant seat as a Republican, Democrat, or Independent, which comes across as disingenuous and misleading.

Comparatively speaking, State Rep. Jolanda Jones announced her candidacy nearly a week after George Foreman IV and has already filed her "STATEMENT OF CANDIDACY" with the Federal Election Commission, as she was required to do by law.

On Sunday, June 8, 2025, FOX 26 News Reporter Greg Groogan stated on "WHAT'S YOUR POINT," that George Foreman IV would be running for the 18th Congressional District of Texas as the "CONSERVATIVE OPTION." Still, rumors are starting to swirl around that George Foreman IV, could be planning to run as an Independent, and then possibly switch his allegiance to the Republican Party after he's elected to the highly coveted CD-18 seat, which is a dirty political tactic.

"EAR TO THE STREETS."

Aubrey R. Taylor Communications, the publisher of the Houston Business Connections Newspaper will keep our ear to the streets and our "BOOTS ON THE GROUND," as we endeavor to keep the people of the 18th Congressional District of Texas informed, and empowered, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, "SPECIAL ELECTION," for the 18th Congressional District draws nearer/

Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis made a huge tactical blunder by running Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee as their "ENDORSED CANDIDATE" for the vacant 18th Congressional District of Texas seat. Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee (Democrat) couldn't even beat his Republican challenger (Jacqueline Lucci Smith) during the early "EARLY VOTING" period, which began on Monday, October 21, 2024, and ended on Friday, November 1, 2024. Looking at the "CUMMULATIVE REPORT DATA" for Harris County, you will see that Christian Menefee was one of the weakest Democrats running countywide in Harris County, Texas, during the 2024 Presidential Election. Ultimately, Christian Menefee won the race, receiving 739,048 votes (50.58%), to Jacqueline Lucci Smith's 722,031 votes (49.42%). However, Menefee's glaring weaknesses as a Democrat make him the wrong choice for Democratic voters planning to cast votes on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in the race for the 18th Congressional District of Texas.

"MENEFEE IS A FRAUD."

According to Elizabeth Thomas, Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee is a fraud and will sell out the people of the 18th Congressional District of Texas if he's elected on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis hand-picked former Mayor Sylvester Turner to succeed the Honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee after her passing, as Turner was perceived as being corrupt and compromised. For the record, Christian Manefee and Sylvester Turner were both born as what's called "BETA MALES" with a spirit of cowardice coded into their Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) at birth. Commissioner Rodney Ellis on the surface appears to be what's called an "ALPHA MALE," but is little more than a "DOMINANT BETA MALE," who has insulated himself with weaker "BETA MALES," such as County Attorney Christian Menefee, City Controller Chris Hollins, and Constable James "Smokie" Phillips, who is just as compromised as Turner was in many regards.

"RODNEY'S PLOT."

Commissioner Rodney Ellis hand-picked his "BETA MALE PUPPET," Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee, to become the next U.S. Representative for the 18th Congressional District, because Menefee is his most loyal member of his "CULT-LIKE," political regime. For Commissioner Ellis, he's become desperate as his perceived power is slipping away. Aside from his thirst for power, according to people who know him well, Commissioner Rodney Ellis has questioned his manhood for his entire life, and surrounds himself with weak "BETA MALES," like Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee, to make himself feel strong and powerful, as if he's the big man on the block.

"DEFINITIONS."

Please familiarize yourself with the term "BETA MALE," which is the label that I will use to identify weak men like Harris County Christian Menefee, and other male members of Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis' "CULT-LIKE" political regime.

The term "BETA MALE" describes a man who is prone to assuming a passive or subservient role to stronger men and women in social, political, and professional settings.

What you have to remember about Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis and the band of "BETA MALES" he's carefully placed into powerful positions throughout Harris County, Texas, is that these men are afraid of "ALPHA MALES," which is why they work so hard to quietly do things behind the scenes to keep "ALPHA MALES," like me, from gaining traction, in Harris County, Texas.

Lastly, the term "ALPHA MALE" can be used to describe someone like Lieutenant Colonel Judge DaSean Jones, the presiding judge for the 180th Criminal District Court in Harris County, Texas, who is running for re-election in the upcoming 2026 Midterm Elections.

Lieutenant Colonel Judge DaSean Jones is described as an "ALPH MALE," because he does not cower before any master or assume a subservient role to a weak man, such as Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, under any circumstances.

According to a poll conducted by the Associated Press, AP Vote Cast, which surveyed 120,000 voters nationwide, 16% of Black voters chose Trump, the Republican nominee, over Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, in the 2024 race for President of the United States. This fact represented the largest share of votes cast for a Republican president by Black voters since Gerald Ford in 1976. When it came down to Black men like Jonathan McCullough, the founder of Urban Conservatives of America, he and other African American males comprised a "STEALTH GROUP" of African American males who cast their votes for TRUMP in droves. Data show that 25% of Black males formed a unique alliance with MAGA (Make America Great Again) voters to drive Trump back into the White House during the 2024 Presidential Election, resulting in a landslide victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in states across America. It remains to be seen if other GOP CANDIDATES like Carmen Maria Montiel, who plans to enter the race to pursue the vacant 18th Congressional District of Texas seat, will be able to ally MAGA (Make America Great Again) and Black voters to achieve victories in future elections.

Carmen Maria Montiel has just as good a chance to win the upcoming "SPECIAL ELECTION" for the vacant 18th Congressional District of Texas as any other candidate running for the seat. Based on “OFFICIAL ETHNICITY DATA” in the Cook Partisan Voting Index, the 18th Congressional District of Texas is 43.4% Hispanic, 32.2% Black, 16.7% White, 4.9% Asian, and 2.2% Two or more races—which means that we could see something very special unfold in the upcoming “SPECIAL EDITION” for the coveted 18th Congressional District of Texas. Suppose Carmen Maria Montiel can build a similar coalition in the 18th Congressional District that President Donald J. Trump built, allying MAGA (Make America Great Again) with African American voters. In that case, she will definitely make the "RUNOFF ELECTION," and have a good shot at flipping the coveted 18th Congressional District of Texas from "BLUE" to "RED" if she receives the financial support to run her own election integrity operation to make sure that members of Commissioner Rodney Ellis's "CULT-LIKE" political regime don't try to gain an unfair advantage.

"EDITOR'S NOTE."

To date, Jolanda has saved five lives. One: a gunshot victim. Two: an SUV rollover victim who was ejected on the freeway. Three: a hit-and-run victim. Four: A victim passed out on a busy street. And her fifth and most notable save, for which she won a HERO Award, was that of a teenager whose car fell approximately 100 feet off of a freeway interchange, caught fire, and exploded seconds after Jolanda and her son extricated her. Jolanda ran to safety 50 meters with the teenager in her arms.

If someone is in danger and Jolanda is near, she will be the person who rushes in to save whoever needs saving. Jolanda feels compelled to save people due to the many times she was a victim of circumstance and in need of help, combined with her mother’s teachings that she must have the courage to do what is right when it’s easier to do wrong and that she must help people who, but for her help, would be helpless.

Ray “RC” Charles Jones respected and admired Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. R.C. has dedicated nearly half a century of his life to the Harris County Democratic Party, serving as a committeeman and precinct chair. This “DEMOCRATIC PARTY VETERAN” currently serves as the North Side Political Action Group president and a political advisor to Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor, the publisher of Houston Business Connections Newspaper.

From the Desk of Ray/RC Jones
President, Northside Political Action Group

We do not need another Sheila Jackson Lee-style representative for the 18th Congressional District. What we need is a bold and authentic leader, someone like Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett of Dallas, Texas. She speaks with confidence, courage, and clarity. She does not appear to have a political handler whispering in her ear, and that is what sets her apart.

This is precisely what I have been telling our young people: You must have your own identity and speak with power. If you want to be heard, speak with purpose and conviction.

One person I can genuinely commend today is State Representative Ron Reynolds. He has demonstrated wisdom by surrounding himself with experienced and knowledgeable leaders. During his rise, he was consistently seen in the company of State Representative Senfronia Thompson, a woman who has been a political force since I first got involved.

I have personally served for 48 years as a Precinct Judge and 8 years on the SDEC (State Democratic Executive Committee). So, whether you like me or not, you should learn how the political game is truly played in Houston and Harris County.

This message is particularly directed to Houston’s Black American Democratic organization. Most of the organization’s leadership consists of Black women. However, I am also concerned that some newly elected officials are treating public office as a stepping stone. When a new seat opens, too many rush to abandon the one they were just entrusted with. That shows a lack of commitment to their constituents.

When you are chosen, serve your full term. Earn trust through action, not by constantly chasing the next opportunity.

Let us revisit the example of Representative Senfronia Thompson. She has faithfully served her district for decades. Whenever a need or question arises, she addresses it. Not only has she held her seat with dignity, but she has also mentored countless others who are serious about public service. She puts in the work that every official should aim to do.

Now, back to the 18th Congressional District.

Frankly, half the candidates competing for that seat do not understand the redistricting changes or the historical impact of prior efforts to combine the 18th and 9th districts. Although the districts were not merged, the redrawn lines have significantly altered the makeup of the districts. Many are unaware that these shifts have already happened, and yet, too many are eager to fill that seat for the wrong reasons.

From personal experience, some of them are not qualified.

Yes, we need new energy. Yes, we need young leaders. But we need leaders who want to serve, not just climb to a higher position. If your motivation is to build a resume or chase a paycheck, this is not the place for you.

Wake up. The Republicans are not playing. This seat could easily be flipped.

As I mentioned earlier, whether you like me or Aubrey Taylor, I invite you to tune in to KCOH’s Ralph Cooper Talk Show on June 19th. Listen on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. Take notes. You might begin to understand where I am coming from.

More to come on June 26, 2025.

I will personally name every candidate in the race and tell you who needs to drop out.

Stay tuned.

State Rep. Ron Reynolds (HD-27), could have easily used his powerful "NAME-ID" as the Chair of the Texas HBCU Legislative Caucus, Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus, and holds the titles of Chair Emeritus of both the Texas Legislative Black Caucus and the Texas Legislative Progress Caucus, to mount a strong campaign for CD-18. However, State Rep. Reynolds has once again demonstrated his unwavering support and commitment to the Democratic Party by electing not to run for the highly coveted 18th Congressional seat, potentially hurting the chances of his fellow Democrats.

On Monday, June 2, 2025, after George Foreman IV appeared on KTRH740AM, on the Michael Berry Show, at 9:15AM, Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor provided "POLITICAL COMMENTARY" and analysis to (www.1230kcoh.com), on "THE RALPH COOPER SHOW," to help the Black Community get a better understanding of what's unfolding in the race for the vacant 18th Congressional District of Texas seat. George Foreman IV spent about 15 minutes on KTRH740AM, and KCOH1230AM provided Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor with about 35 minutes of airtime to analyze and break down the George Foreman IV interview with Hall of Fame Broadcaster Ralph Cooper.

"THE TOP TIER."

State Rep. Jolanda Jones (Democrat) is unquestionably the legitimate torch bearer for Democrats, and George Foreman IV, by all intents and purposes, appears to be running for CD-18 as a torchbearer for "THE GOP," are two transitional candidates. The entry of these two formidable contenders into the race for CD-18 caused the entire CD-18 race to pivot on Monday, June 2, 2025, and again on Thursday, June 5, 2025. That said, it is unclear what role George Foreman IV's brother-in-law (Eric Carr) played in helping State Rep. Ron Reynolds arrive at the decision to step aside on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Still, it has become clear that Jolanda "Jo" Jones, George "BIG WHEEL," Foreman IV, and Eric Carr are all preparing to go "ALL-IN" on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Remember, the deadline to enter the race for CD-18 isn't until Wednesday, September 3, 2025, so more candidates could enter. But why? At this point, with George Foreman IV and State Rep. Jolanda "Jo" Jones preparing to do battle against one another, what else do we need?

State Rep. Ron Reynolds (right) and his longtime colleague and close friend, State Rep. Jolanda Jones, have supported one another and stood together on the front lines in many battles. State Rep. Ron Reynolds proved himself to be "A TRUE LEADER," by stepping aside and not running for the 18th Congressional District of Texas. It is unclear at this time if State Rep. Reynolds will make an endorsement before the December runoff.

George Foreman IV, the son of the late two-time Heavyweight Champion of the World "BIG GEORGE" Foreman, appears to be on a track to secure a majority of the Republican vote, in a field of candidates that is entirely too deep with Democratic candidates. While his appearance on the Michael Berry Show was little more than a "SOFTBALL INTERVIEW," it is unclear if the man called "BIG WHEEL" by his family and friends has the guts to face down someone like State Rep. Jolanda Jones in a debate on (www.1230kcoh.com) so that the people of the 18th Congressional District of Texas can get a better understanding of who he is, what he stands for, and how he plans to represent them in the United States Congress if he pulls of a victory in the CD-18 race.

Former prizefighter Eric Carr (right) learned a great deal about the inner workings of the United States Congress from his dear friend, the late Honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, who took him under her wing. As Eric Carr's business has expanded into other states, so has his influence in the Bayou City and other major metropolitan areas throughout America. Eric Carr has announced that he is supporting State Rep. Jolanda "Jo" Jones over his former brother-in-law, George Foreman IV, in the upcoming Tuesday, November 4, 2025, "SPECIAL ELECTION," for the 18th Congressional District.

The newly-drawn 18th Congressional District of Texas is now 43.4% Hispanic, 32.2% Black, 16.7% White, 4.9% Asian, 2.2% Two or more races, and 0.7% Other, according to the (CPVI) Cook Partisan Voting Index. Can the 18th Congressional District of Texas get flipped from "BLUE" to "RED" on Tuesday, November 4, 2025? The answer is YES. However, it will take the correct type of candidates who can draw support from the right and the left side of the political aisle.

The entry of the late 2-time Heavyweight champion George Foreman's son into the race for the vacant 18th Congressional District of Texas seat has turned the race on its head. County Attorney Christian Menefee's campaign has failed to gain any traction. The campaign strategy used by former Houston City Councilwoman Amanda Edwards has been unable to take hold, just as it did when she raised and spent over $1.6 million during the Tuesday, March 5, 2024, Democratic Party Primary. Remember, most people are beginning to view Amanda Edwards as a perennial runner for public office.

The 2026 Midterm Election provides the people of Fort Bend County and Harris County with a unique opportunity to pluck out the "BAD APPLES" and replace them with "GOOD APPLES" in judicial races up and down the ballot.

State Rep. Jolanda Jones (center) serves as the State Representative for House District 147. When Judge Erica Hughes (left) was called an animal by a local lawyer during the 2024 Democratic Party Primary, State Rep. Jolanda Jones stepped forward to defend Erica Hughes, who was running against Judge Mike Engelhart, a "GREAT DEMOCRATIC JUDGE" for his 151st Civil District Court bench. With the support she received from State Rep. Jolanda Jones and others, Erica Hughes unseated Judge Engelhart by garnering 93,468 votes, for 60.9% of the vote. Comparatively speaking, Judge Mike Engelhart, who was hugely popular, and well respected, only received 59,964 votes, for 39.1%, which shows that any judge running for re-election in next year's Tuesday, March 3, 2025, Democratic Party Primary can lose their bench, including the twenty-six (26) African American incumbent judges who are up for re-election in the 2026 Midterm Election. Readers of Houston Business Connections Newspaper© are strongly encouraged to vote for Lieutenant Colonel Judge DaSean Jones on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the race for the 180th Criminal District Court in the Democratic Party Primary.

Former United States Attorney General Merrick Garland chose Judge Erica Hughes to serve as an Immigration Judge, where she presided over cases. Judge Erica Hughes has been an esteemed member of the U.S. Army National Guard of Texas in Austin since 2016, serving as a Judge Advocate. On January 1, 2025, Judge Erica Hughes, after being called an animal by an "LGBTQ ATTORNEY," named Ben L. Aderholt and unqualified by fellow judges from within the Harris County Democratic Party, during the 2024 Democratic Party Primary season she overcame the odds and defeated a very popular Democratic Party Judge named Mike Engelhart, one of our favorite judges in the race for the 151st Civil District Court in Harris County, Texas.
