MAYOR TOM REID VALUED EVERY VOTE AND WON!

MAYOR TOM REID: -- happen to be a "NONPARTISAN PUBLIC SERVANT" who we helped to win his bid for re-election in Pearland, Texas back on Saturday, June 10, 2017 against a very ambitious African American opponent. A quick review of the “OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT” for the Saturday, June 10, 2017 City of Pearland General Runoff Election race for Mayor of Pearland, Texas clearly shows how accurately our newly created Houston Business Connections Magazine© “POWER RANKING SYSTEM” performed as Mayor Tom Reid rolled to victory over his hungry challenger – just as “OUR POWER RANKINGS” predicted that he would prior to Election Day! Quentin Wiltz tried to use Facebook, Twitter, Majic 102 radio commercials, CNN television commercials – and knocking on as many doors as he possibly could -- but nothing worked. Nope! Nothing he tried could rescue him from the result predicted by the Houston Business Connections Magazine© “POWER RANKING SYSTEM” which accurately gauged and identified the strengths and weaknesses of both candidates prior to the start of Early Voting. Not only that: “OUR POWER RANKING SYSTEM” also accurately identified the “BATTLEGROUND PRECINCTS” where “CROSSOVER VOTERS LIVE IN PEARLAND” and then we "OPENLY PUBLISHED" our findings for "EACH CAMPAIGN" to review during the "EARLY VOTING" process in Pearland, Texas.

The City of Pearland cordially invites you to a swearing-in ceremony for Tom Reid and Woody Owens on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 6:00PM at Pearland City Hall located at 3519 Liberty Dr. Pearland, Texas 77581.

REPORT by AUBREY R. TAYLOR

Mayor Tom Reid was "OUR PROHIBITIVE FAVORITE" in the Saturday, June 10, 2017 race for Mayor of Pearland, Texas. Yes, he won his bid for re-election just as predicted by the Houston Business Connections Magazine© “POWER RANKING SYSTEM” prior to Election Day. Woody Owens was also "OUR PROHIBITIVE FAVORITE" in the race for Pearland City Council Position #7. Woody was attacked by "some" in the mainstream media and had to overcome being "WRONGLY LABELED" a racist (by some) to win the newly created District #7 seat. Carol McCutcheon was also "OUR PROHIBITIVE FAVORITE" in the race for Sugar Land City Council District #4. She was also in a tough race running against an ethnic minority, but was able to win just as "OUR POWER RANKING SYSTEM" correctly predicted she would. THE OFFICIAL RESULTS FOR PEARLAND shows Mayor Tom Reid with 8,019 votes for 59.50% of the vote over his opponent Quentin Wiltz who finished with 5,458 votes for 40.50% of the vote. Woody Owens received 7,782 votes for 58.45% of the vote to defeat Dalia Kasseb who received 5,533 votes for 41.55% of the vote according to the "OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORTS" published by the Brazoria County Clerk's office. Dalia Kasseb was hoping to make history by becoming the first "OPENLY MUSLIM" elected official to hold public office in Brazoria County. And Carol McCutcheon received 1,304 votes for 57.27% of the vote to defeat Qaisar Q. Imam who finished with 973 votes for 42.73% according to the "UNOFFICIAL CANVASS REPORTS" published by the Fort Bend County Clerk's office.

THE RED TEAM WON CONVINCINGLY JUST AS PREDICTED BY THE HOUSTON BUSINESS CONNECTIONS MAGAZINE© "POWER RANKING SYSTEM" FOR PEARLAND, TEXAS

OUR "PROHIBITIVE FAVORITES" PERFORMED EVEN BETTER THAN ANTICIPATED AS THEY ROLLED TO VICTORY IN PEARLAND, TEXAS ON SATURDAY, JUNE 10, 2017

A quick review of the “OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT” for the Saturday, June 10, 2017 City of Pearland General Runoff Election race for Mayor of Pearland, Texas clearly shows how accurately the newly created Houston Business Connections Magazine© “POWER RANKING SYSTEM” performed as Mayor Tom Reid rolled to victory over his hungry challenger – just as “OUR POWER RANKINGS” predicted that he would prior to Election Day! Not only that: “OUR POWER RANKING SYSTEM” also accurately identified the “BATTLEGROUND PRECINCTS” where “CROSSOVER VOTERS LIVED” and we "OPENLY PUBLISHED" our findings for "EACH CAMPAIGN" to review during the "EARLY VOTING" process in Pearland, Texas.

MAYOR TOM REID RAN HIS RACE AS A NONPARTISAN CANDIDATE -- AND MANY MINORITY REGISTERED VOTERS IN PEARLAND, TEXAS REWARDED HIM FOR DOING SO WITH THEIR VOTES ON SATURDAY, JUNE 10, 2017 IN PEARLAND, TEXAS

We listed Mayor Tom Reid as a member of "THE RED TEAM" by default in the "POWER RANKINGS" below -- partly because of the "POLITICAL CLIMATE" that evolved in Pearland, Texas. But let's be clear: MAYOR TOM REID WAS NOT RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION AS A REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT. The "FLOW CHART" below will show that Mayor Tom Reid was not limited in any way to one area or "VOTER PRECINCT" in Pearland, Texas. However, Mayor Reid found himself embroiled in a "DOG-FIGHT" to keep his reputation, legacy, and re-election bid intact and upbeat, in what clearly became a very nasty, divisive and very "PARTISAN" election cycle. So, Houston Business Connections Magazine© would like to thank Mayor Tom Reid for taking the high-road and valuing our readership! And for not taking the bait!

MAYOR TOM REID VERSUS QUENTIN WILTZ

Mayor Tom Reid was our "PROHIBITIVE FAVORITE" in the race for Mayor of Pearland, Texas on Saturday, June 10, 2017 -- and he didn't disappoint. The "OFFICIAL CUMULATIVE REPORT" published by the Brazoria County Clerk shows Mayor Tom Reid with 8,019 votes for 59.50% of the vote and Quentin Wiltz with 5,458 votes for 40.50% to close out the "2017 Municipal Election" season for Pearland, Texas.

THE HBC MAGAZINE© POWER METERS FOR MAYOR TOM REID AND QUENTIN WILTZ IN PEARLAND, TEXAS

THE STRONGER TEAM WON ON SATURDAY, JUNE 10, 2017 IN PEARLAND, TEXAS

Yes, there was a record turnout for the City of Pearland, Texas. However, there were still over 55,779 registered voters who didn’t go to the polls to exercise their right to vote for one reason or another! Based on the turnout numbers, 13,507 registered voters took part in the Saturday, June 10, 2017 General Runoff Election for a 19.49% turnout, according to the Brazoria County Clerk. "OUR POWER RANKING SYSTEM" CORRECTLY PREDICTED THAT MAYOR TOM REID WOULD BE ABLE CROSS THE "POLITICAL DIVIDE" WITH OUR BRANDING ASSISTANCE

STRONGHOLDS AND BATTLEGROUND PRECINCTS

The Houston Business Connections Magazine© “POWER RANKINGS” accurately determined that Mayor Tom Reid and Woody Owens "OUR PROHIBITIVE FAVORITES" both had a lot of supporters in “EVERY VOTER PRECINCT” across the city of Pearland, Texas. These “POWER RANKINGS” also showed us that Mayor Tom Reid would more than likely beat his challenger Quentin Wiltz and pull Woody Owens to victory right along with him by winning: Precinct 12, Precinct 13, Precinct 26, Precinct 27, Precinct 28, Precinct 36, Precinct 46, Precinct 47, Precinct 51, Precinct 52, Precinct 61, Precinct 537 and Precinct 654 on Saturday, June 10, 2017. As “EARLY VOTING” went along “OUR POWER RANKINGS” began to confirm our theory that Mayor Tom Reid would “RUN VERY COMPETITIVELY” in the following “VOTER PRECINCTS" on Saturday, June 10, 2017: Precinct 44, Precinct 60, Precinct 62, and Precinct 762. So we already knoew that there was pretty much no pathway to victory for Quentin Wiltz and Dalia Kasseb in the race for Mayor of Pearland,or the race for Pearland City Council Position #7 before "ELECTION DAY" even arrived.

HAVING LEISHA SOPHIA D'ANGELO IN HIS CORNER REALLY HELPED MAYOR TOM REID IN THE HEAT OF THE BATTLE

MAYOR TOM REID AND LEISHA SOPHIA D'ANGELO

In case you don't know, Leisha Sophia D'Angelo was the "CAMPAIGN MANAGER" for Mayor Tom Reid. She assembled an awesome team around her and handled the attacks lodged against her and Mayor Tom Reid with dignity and class. She was also a very good listener -- which is a very valuable characteristic to posses. So, I would like to take this moment to "PUBLICLY THANK" her and Mayor Tom Reid for valuing "OUR ADVICE ALONG THE WAY" and the vote, prayers and support of Houston Business Connections Magazine© readers as well. And above all else, for "VALUING THE VOTE OF EVERY PEARLANDER" without respect to race, creed, political ideology, party affiliation, or socioeconomic status. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS!

BOTH MAYOR TOM REID AND WOODY OWENS PERFORMED EXACTLY AS PREDICTED BY THE NEWLY CREATED HOUSTON BUSINESS CONNECTIONS MAGAZINE© “POWER RANKING SYSTEM”

Mayor Tom Reid (center) and Councilman Woody Owens (right)

Prior to the start of “EARLY VOTING” for the Saturday, June 10, 2017 General Runoff Election for Pearland, Texas, Houston Business Connections Magazine© published a “SPECIAL ADVERTISING SUPPLEMENT” to promote “OUR PROHIBITIVE FAVORITES”. Inside this publication Houston Business Connections Magazine© correctly predicted that Mayor Tom Reid would win at least 13 of the 26 “VOTER PRECINCTS” in Pearland, Texas and labeled him as “THE PROHIBITIVE FAVORITE” in the race for Mayor of Pearland, Texas. Houston Business Connections Magazine© also labeled Woody Owens as “THE PROHIBITIVE FAVORITE” in the race for the Pearland City Council Position #7 seat. At the end of the day, Mayor Tom Reid won 14 of the 26 “VOTER PRECINCTS” in Pearland, Texas.

MAYOR TOM REID WAS THE ONLY CANDIDATE IN THE RACE FOR MAYOR WHO ASKED FOR "OUR" VOTE ON SATURDAY, JUNE 10, 2017

The record turnout in Pearland, Texas didn’t just happen on its own! Typically, the turnout in “RUNOFF ELECTIONS” goes down – not up! The City of Pearland has never seen a turnout like they’ve just witnessed in the Saturday, June 10, 2017 Municipal Elections. We believe that our continued focus on “PEARLAND, TEXAS” through our “BLOG POSTINGS”, publications and other "OUTREACH METHODS" designed to “ENGAGE POTENTIAL VOTERS” played a major role in increasing the voter turnout in Pearland. And all of our work was done through “POSITIVE CAMPAIGNING” focused on highlighting “OUR PROHIBITIVE FAVORITES” throughout our established channels of communication and “OUTREACH METHODS” directly tailored to reach potential voters in “SPECIFICALLY TARGETED VOTER PRECINCTS” in Pearland, Texas.

OUR IMPACT ON THE ELECTION IN PEARLAND

THE GENERAL RUNOFF ELECTION IN PEARLAND TURNED OUT EXACTLY HOW WE PREDICTED IT WOULD BASED ON “OUR POWER RANKINGS”
