Commissioner Ellis Provided Fraudulent 'Back-Dated' Agreement to Harris County Officials According to Sam Njunuri

Former FBI Investigative Specialist Charles Marler (left) claims that the signed official “ACKNOWLEDGEMENT” below between African Art Global Inc’s Sam Njunuri (seated in Black), and Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis (right) is fraudulent. How is the document fraudulent? Well, according to former FBI Investigative Specialist Charles Marler, he actually interviewed Sam Njunuri, and has a witness, that heard Njunuri assert that the “ACKNOWLEDGMENT” between he (Sam Njunuri) and Commissioner Ellis had been “BACK-DATED” to February 1, 2020, at Commissioner Ellis’ request. According to former FBI Investigative Specialist Charles Marler he presented this information to the Harris County District Attorney way back in February of 2020 – more than a year ago. What does this mean? Well, if Marler and his witness are telling the truth, this could perhaps be one of the reasons why Commissioner Ellis said in an email uncovered by Channel 2 News, that he was having trouble sleeping at night.

Sam NJunuri Told Former FBI Investigative Specialist that Commissioner Rodney Ellis Had Him to Fraudulently Back-Date Document

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I was told by former FBI Investigative Specialist Charles Marler in a meeting on yesterday, Tuesday, March 30, 2021, in an “EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW” that Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis went to Sam Njunuri, of African Global Inc., shortly after the Channel 2 News report about the priceless artwork in an attempt to cover his tracks. I was told by Marler that according to what Sam Njunuri told him in a “PHONE INTERVIEW” with a witness also on the line, Harris County Commissioner Rodney promised Sam Njunuri that he would get his Museum by signing the acknowledgement. “Commissioner Rodney Ellis also told Njunuri to not talk with anyone about this matter,” said former FBI Specialist Charles Marler. “Commissioner Ellis then backdated the acknowledgement to February 1, 2020, and filed the “FRAUDULENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT”, which he knew to be false, with Harris County,” said Marler.

COMMISSIONER ELLIS: "Update agreements with Sam in case he does not own all the art. This keeps me up at night. He need to sign something and notarize it. We need more than just his word."

***According to Sam Njunuri of African Global Inc., the Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis came to him to have him back-date the “ACKNOWLEDGEMENT” you see above after the Channel 2 News Story broke about the priceless African Art.

***According to Mario Diaz of Channel 2, “Email raises eyebrows for multiple reasons. First, is the time the email was written, which was “4:32 a.m.” The other is the date, Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, nearly five months prior to our report. However, what caught county officials off-guard when KPRC 2 Investigates initially made the request, is the name of the sender, “Glenn Rodney,” an email alias of Commissioner Ellis that is a combination of his first and middle names in reverse order."

CHARLES MARLER: “Channel 2 News provided a signed official Acknowledgement from African Art Global Inc. to Harris County. The Acknowledgement is that AAG and the owner Sam Njunuri had a previous oral agreement regarding him loaning the artwork to Harris County and specifically Harris County Precinct 1. However, when a witness and I spoke with Sam Njunuri in an interview back in 2020, Sam Njunuri stated that Commissioner Ellis came to him recently (since Channel 2 busted him) and had (him) Sam Njunuri sign a document. It appears that Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis then filed the fraudulent document before Harris County – which he knew to be false and that he had back dated to February 1, 2020."

Below Is A Rundown of How We Got to This Point With the Priceless African Artwork

By Charles Marler

Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis's wife is Licia Green Ellis and she is an executive/owner of Waterman Steele Group. Licia's sister is Angele Green Johnson who works with Waterman Steele Group.

Back in 2016, Sam Njunuri had a large and to this date un-assessed African Art Collection believed to be worth millions of dollars. Sam Njunuri was paying storage at 5373 West Alabama when his monthly rent increased significantly. During this time frame he came to know Rodney Ellis. Rodney Ellis devised a plan to take advantage of Njunuri's situation according to Marler. Njunuri wanted to start a museum to show off his art collection. Ellis (allegedly) promised to help him store the art collection and get a museum/funding going.

It was back in 2017, when Angele Johnson and her co-worker Larry Johnson (not related) along with Sam Njunuri got together and started a company called African Art Global Inc. It was also in 2017, that Commissioner Ellis secretly stored Njunuri's art collection in a Harris County facility that he controlled.

Months went by and Njunuri did not get his museum, so he started asking Commissioner Ellis about his art collection. Ellis gave him the run-around about the art collection. Njunuri didn't know where the art collection was, but still wanted the museum and didn't want to anger Ellis.

When Houston's Channel 2 News started investigating the mystery of the African Art Collection being stored at a Harris County facility in February 2020, Ellis then (allegedly) went to Njunuri and had him sign an acknowledgement to the county about the African Art collection. Ellis promised Njunuri that he would get his Museum by signing the acknowledgement. Commissioner Rodney Ellis also told Njunuri to not talk with anyone about this matter. Ellis then backdated the acknowledgement to February 1st and filed the acknowledgement, which he knew to be false, with Harris County.

The Channel 2 News report also mentioned that Sam Njunuri had a judgment in a civil case and stated this was a possible reason that he was hiding the art collection.

"On Saturday, May 1, 2021, a general election will take place in some areas of Texas. There’s also a uniformed general election scheduled for Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in some areas of Texas. But the most anticipated date on the 2021 calendar is Monday, December 13, 2021 – filing deadline – the date when Democratic and Republican candidates who are looking to land a spot on their respective party’s March 2022 Primary ballot must be signed up. Now, in case you don’t know, “SUPER TUESDAY” is scheduled for Tuesday, March 1, 2022. And the “2022 MIDTERM ELECTION” is scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2022. That being said, let’s make it our business to elect the “BEST QUALIFIED” candidates who value our vote in the 2022 Midterms -- candidates like Tamika "Tami" Craft who will appear on your ballot in Harris County, Texas in the race for the 189th Civil District Court Bench."

The 5 Star General Joins Aubrey R. Taylor Communications in Recognizing and  Saluting Democratic and Republican Women in Texas Politics

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I would like to take this moment to thank Gerry Wayne Monroe for finding value in supporting our "SISTERHOOD SERIES" movement. In case you don’t know him, Gerry Wayne Monroe “THE 5 STAR GENERAL” is a lifelong resident of Houston, Texas. ‘5 STAR’ was born and raised in the historic 3rd Ward in Houston, Texas. He graduated from high school back in 1986, from Jack Yates Sr. High School. For those of you who don’t know, ‘5 STAR’ is also a member of the 1985 Jack Yates Championship Football team. And get this, after a by chance meeting with investigative reporter Wayne Dolcefino, or what media mogul Oprah Winfrey calls an “AHAH MOMENT” he started Monroe Consultations. His firm specializes in Education advocacy and political consulting. And for the past 8 years Monroe has taken on well over 195 assignments, and (according to him) has solved every issue that he’s touched. “My specialty is holding elected officials accountable. And in accordance with my goal to do so, I recently went back to further my education in the area of Criminal Justice and recently graduated from Center Texas College,” he says. Thru his community and civic engagement, he's helped thousands of kids and community members regain the hope that they lost – I’ve seen this first hand.

The “Sisterhood Series” Features 70 Powerful Texas Women You Should Know Who Are Doing Their Own Thing

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I would like to take this moment to introduce our “SISTERHOOD SERIES” to you. This empowerment movement is being launched to highlight a few powerful Texas women who are doing their own thing in legal, political, and public relations fields throughout the Lone Star State. Now, while this powerful group of women is being brought to you as a corporate body, our “SISTERHOOD SERIES” should not be misconstrued as identity/gender politics in any way, shape, or form. Why? Well, all of the featured women in this series are (in their own unique way) some of the best and brightest women in America. So, recognizing these women as part of our SISTERHOOD SERIES” is our way of applauding each of them for their courage, tenacity, and ability to compete in what has traditionally been a man’s world.

TRUTH OF THE MATTER

If we’re honest with ourselves, we all know that women are still fighting an uphill battle in politics as well as inside boardrooms across America. So, let's not forget – it wasn’t long ago that women were guaranteed the right to vote. In case you don’t know, the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote was only the beginning of a much longer fight that women are continuing to fight on the campaign trail, in board rooms, and while living their everyday lives.

A VERY UNIQUE BOND

Each segment of our “SISTERHOOD SERIES” will highlight a “FEATURED SPONSOR” on the cover, and sixty-nine sitting incumbent Democratic and Republican members of the judiciary inside. So, as a community of women, each of the sixty-nine women featured as the “BODY OF THE SERIES” are linked together by their common successes in the rough and tumble world of Texas politics. Now, you can bet your bottom dollar, that some of these women will be endorsed by Houston Business Connections Newspaper©, in 2022 and 2024 “ELECTION GUIDES” when they appear on the ballot. However, unfortunately, some of these women will not make the cut. So, please do not forget that the deadline to run for political office in the “2022 MIDTERM ELECTIONS” is on Monday, December 13, 2021, in Texas. And, if you are a woman or man who is planning to run for office in 2022, you must sign up by Monday, December 13, 2021, at 6:00 pm. So, if you are not sure, what position you should run for in the Democratic Party Primary or Republican Party Primary, please call (281)788-3033, and I will try to assist you in any way I can.

MINISTERS OF JUSTICE

Every judge in America takes an oath of office and solemnly swears that they will administer justice without respect to persons and that they will do equal right to the poor and to the rich alike. So, the “MINISTERS OF JUSTICE” you see listed below, have all promised to faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon them under the United States Constitution and the laws that govern us as a free nation when they were elected. And each of them did so before the LORD God Almighty. Now, that being said, nowhere in their promise was their political party affiliation, sorority, socio-economic status, or ethnicity mentioned. So, let’s do our best going forward, to elect the “BEST AND BRIGHTEST” women and men who are committed to handing out even-handed justice to every person who enters their courtroom.

Nominating the Wrong Candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" Could Have Disastrous Consequences in the November 2022 General Election in Harris County

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in 2022, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.

THINKING ABOUT RUNNING?

If you are a candidate planning to run for office in 2022, you have to select the right candidate to run against. And the second most important thing to understand is that you have to select your race early, to avoid ending up in a crowded field of candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" in Harris County, Texas. So, if you need assistance trying to determine which race to enter, please call (281)788-3033, and I will do my very best to answer any questions you may have.
