The May 28, 2024, Primary Runoffs Will Feature Round Two of Shawn Thierry Versus Lauren Ashley Simmons

The upcoming Harris Democratic Party Primary "RUNOFF ELECTION" and Harris County Republican Party Primary "RUNOFF ELECTION" will feature a star-studded field of candidates which includes State Rep. Shawn Thierry (top second from left), facing off against Lauren Ashley Simmons (top far left), in the hotly contested race for State Representative, House District 146, in Harris County, Texas.

Below Are Nine Hot Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Primary Runoff Races; State Rep Shawn Thierry and Lauren Ashley Simmons Will Face Off Again

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

First off, I would like to congratulate State Rep. Jarvis Johnson, Molly Cook, Angie Thibodeaux, Charlene Ward Johnson, Lauren Ashley Simmons, State Rep. Shawn Nicole Thierry, Velda Renita Faulkner, Justice Jerry Zimmerer, Vivian King, Gemayel “G” Haynes, Annette Ramirez, Desiree Broadnax, Jerome Moore, Jerry Rodriguez, Caroline Kane, Kenneth Omoruyi, Christian V. Garcia, and Alan Garza, on making their way into the upcoming Tuesday, May 28, 2024, primary runoffs.

Now, what many voters don’t realize is that there will be two elections taking place in the Houston area during May.

The first election, which will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, is a local “NON-COUNTY” election for political subdivisions.

The second election, which will take place on Monday, May 28, 2024, will include nine local political races where no candidate received a majority of the vote back on Super Tuesday.

That being said, the “EARLY VOTING PERIOD” for the Democratic Party Primary runoffs, and Republican Party Primary runoffs will begin on Monday, May 20, 2024, and end on Friday, May 24th.

“ONLY FIVE DAYS.”

Two elections in one month can be very confusing. So, please remind all of your family and friends that the “EARLY VOTING PERIOD” is only (5) five days, this time around – not two weeks. However, this shortened “EARLY VOTING PERIOD” will make it a lot easier for candidates (with limited resources) who made the runoffs to cover more early voting locations between Monday, May 20, 2024, and Friday, May 24, 2024, which should make the upcoming runoff races more competitive.

“OMORUYI V. KANE.”

In the race for United States Representative, District 7, Kenneth Omoruyi emerged as the front-runner, with 6,533 votes, for 40.47% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas. Comparatively speaking, Caroline Kane finished second with 4,274 votes, for 26.48% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas.

“GARCIA V. GARZA.”

In the race for United States Representative, District 29, Christian V. Garcia emerged as the front-runner, with 3,713 votes, for 44.78% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas. Comparatively speaking, Alan Garza finished with 2,409 votes, for 29.06% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas.

“JOHNSON V. COOK.”

In the race for State Senate, District 15, Jarvis Johnson emerged as the front-runner, with 17,768 votes, for 36.13% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas. Comparatively speaking, Molly Cook finished with 10,154 votes, for 20.65% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas.

“THIBODEAUX V. JOHNSON.”

In the race for State Representative, District 139, Angie Thibodeaux emerged as the front-runner, with 3,643 votes, for 33.38% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas. Comparatively speaking, Charlene Ward Johnson finished with 2,620 votes, for 24.01% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas.

“SIMMONS V. THIERRY.”

In the race for State Representative, District 146, Lauren Ashley Simmons emerged as the front-runner with 6,255 votes, for 49.53% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas. Comparatively speaking, State Rep. Shawn Nicole Thierry withstood the “COORDINATED ATTACKS” from some local media, and she still finished with 5,608 votes, for 44.41% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas.

“FAULKNER V. ZIMMERER.”

In the race for Justice, 14th Court of Appeals District, Place 3, Velda Renita Faulkner emerged as the front-runner with 66,224 votes, for 44.39% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas. Comparatively speaking, Jerry Zimmerer finished with 36,759 votes, for 24.64% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas.

“KING V. HAYNES.”

In the race for District Judge, 486th Criminal District Court, Vivian King emerged as the front-runner with 73,182 votes, for 49.28% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas. Comparatively speaking, Gemayel “G” Haynes finished with 47,211 votes, for 31.79% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas.

“RAMIREZ V. BROADNAX.”

In the race for County Tax Assessor-Collector, Annette Ramirez emerged as the front-runner with 62,741 votes, for 40.64% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas. Comparatively speaking, Desiree Broadnax finished with 27,071 votes, for 17.54% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas.

“MOORE V. RODRIGUEZ.”

In the race for Constable, Precinct 5, Jerome Moore emerged as the front-runner with 15,040 votes, for 45.85% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas. Comparatively speaking, Jerry Rodriguez finished with 9,224 votes, for 28.12% of the vote, in Harris County, Texas.

“CLOSING THOUGHTS.”

The dynamics of the runoff races will shift with the shortened “EARLY VOTING PERIOD” in Harris County, Texas. That being said, finishing first back on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, does not necessarily mean that the front-runner is the favorite to win the Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Democratic Party Primary runoff, or Republican Party Primary runoff in Harris County, Texas.

Why Were So Many Black Early Voting Locations Left Without Republican Poll Watchers, Alternate Judges, and Clerks?

Dr. Steven Hotze and Aubrey R. Taylor discovered "VOTING MACHINES" being moved from the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center on the morning of Monday, October 31, 2022. Why didn't Cindy Siegel, and the Harris County Republican Party have any poll watchers at predominantly Black "EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS" in places like the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center during the early voting period? Is Don Hooper (Republican), precinct chair for Precinct #0016 right? Was there some sort of agreement between the Harris County Republican Party and the Harris County Democratic Party in play?

Why did Grace Taylor (Democrat), the Democrat "ELECTION JUDGE" at the Hiram Clarke Mult-Service Center lie about the number of "VOTING MACHINES" that were on this cart? Why did Grace Taylor (no relation), claim that (3) three "VOTING MACHINES" were on this cart when there were actually (6) six "VOTING MACHINES" on this cart? Is Don Hooper (Republican), precinct chair for Precinct #0016 right? Was there some sort of agreement between the Harris County Republican Party and the Harris County Democratic Party in play?

Where did this guy take these (6) six  "VOTING MACHINES" when he loaded them into his Ram pickup truck and left the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center with them on Monday, October 31, 2022, all by himself? Where's the chain of custody for these voting machines? Is Don Hooper (Republican), precinct chair for Precinct #0016 right? Was there some sort of agreement between the Harris County Republican Party and the Harris County Democratic Party in play?

Why isn't Cindy Siegel, the Republican Party Chairman, asking questions about what was going on with "VOTING MACHINES" and printed ballots being moved around during the "EARLY  VOTING PERIOD" of the Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Midterm Election. Is Don Hooper (Republican), precinct chair for Precinct #0016 right? Was there some sort of agreement between the Harris County Republican Party and the Harris County Democratic Party in play?

This guy who you see greeting Dr. Steven Hotze claimed to be a private investigator by the name of Mr. Kelly. This gentleman was outside working the parking lot at the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center "EARLY VOTING LOCATION" on the morning of Monday, October 31, 2022. Please call me at (281)788-3033 if you know who this guy is. Is Don Hooper (Republican), precinct chair for Precinct #0016 right? Was there some sort of agreement between the Harris County Republican Party and the Harris County Democratic Party in play?

Erica Johnson is the woman you see sitting in the chair. According to Cindy Siegel, Chairman of the Harris County Republican Party, this woman is a hard Republican and was acting as the Republican "ALTERNATE JUDGE" for the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center on the morning of Monday, October 31, 2022, when the (6) six "VOTING MACHINES" were being moved from this predominantly Black "EARLY VOTING LOCATION" that didn't appear to have any Republican poll watchers. So, how much does Erica Johnson know about the two trips that involved voting machines being moved on the morning of October 31, 2022, at the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center?

Why did Grace Taylor (Democrat), the "ELECTION JUDGE" for the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center "EARLY VOTING LOCATION" tell us that there were (3) three "VOTING MACHINES" being removed from this predominantly Black "EARLY VOTING LOCATION" when there was actually (6) six "VOTING MACHINES" on the cart?

Why Were So Many Black Early Voting Locations Left Without Republican Poll Watchers, Alternate Judges, and Clerks?

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

There’s absolutely no doubt that something very bad just unfolded in Harris County, Texas on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in the Midterm Election. It’s clear that Republicans had their votes suppressed on Election Day in key strongholds. But was the suppression of votes in key Republican strongholds by design, or some sort of sinister plot that was agreed to beforehand?

It’s too early in my investigation to tell, but according to one of my sources, Don Hooper, the Republican Precinct Chair for Precinct #0016, could hold the answers. “Hooper is the precinct chair that contacted me and railed on me for nearly an hour telling me I better stop trying to get Carmen election and I better stop it now,” I was told in a text message.

“He claimed if she was to get elected it would f-up the entire agreement between the two parties,” said the text message I received. “His wife Rachel is the RPT General Counsel. They are both deep into politics,” said the texter.

Whether or not you believe the texter, who stated that Don Hooper, has alleged an agreement between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party is beside the point. Why? Well, if you look at the number of “EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS” that were left wide open and without any Republican poll watchers, alternate judges, or clerks, something is starting to look a little suspicious.

Take for instance the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center “EARLY VOTING LOCATION” and how Republicans left it completely open to potential voter fraud by not having any representation on site.

And in case you don’t know, Grace Taylor (Democrat), who served as the “ELECTION JUDGE” appears to hate and despise former President Donald Trump, based on several posting from her FACEBOOK account? But you don’t have to take my word for it, look at the screenshots below, from Grace Taylor’s FACEBOOK account, and you will clearly see how this “ELECTION JUDGE” should not have been left to oversee, “EARLY VOTING” at this predominantly Black “EARLY VOTING LOCATION” without any Republican oversight.

Grace Taylor (Democrat), is the woman who was hired by the Harris County Elections Administrator and placed at the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center. And from what I can see, from her FACEBOOK postings, Grace Taylor (no relation), appears to hate former President Donald Trump and has a disdain for Republicans in general. So, why didn't the Harris County Republican Party place a poll watcher, alternate judge, or clerk inside the Hiram Clarke Mult-Service Center to make sure that someone was watching over this predominantly Black "EARLY VOTING LOCATION" between Monday, October 24, 2022, and Friday, November 4, 2022, to protect the integrity of the 2022 Midterm Election?

"GAME-CHANGER."

Judge Sandra Peake (Democrat), was a bonified, seasoned attorney before she ever ran for a judicial position. That being said, she also ran for local judicial positions several times before winning. If you ask me, Judge Sandra J. Peake is the embodiment of what it means never give up. And on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, I am proud to say that I endorsed Judge Sandra Peake, as I've always done, and she won her bid for re-election, over Leonel Leo Farias, II, by a wide margin. Comparatively speaking, Judge Sandra received 548,215 votes, for 51.90% of the vote, and her opponent, Leonel Leo Farias II, only received 507,991 votes, for 48.10% of the vote.

"GAME-CHANGER."

Paula Goodhart (Republican), was endorsed by me over Judge Ronnisha Bowman (Democrat), in the race for Judge, County Criminal Court at Law No. 2, in Harris County, Texas, and she emerged victorious by a slim margin of 4,889 votes with 1,058,707 votes cast in their race.

"GAME-CHANGER."

Leslie Johnson (Republican), was endorsed by me over Porscha Natasha Brown (Democrat), in the race for Judge, County Criminal Court at Law No. 3, in Harris County, Texas, and she emerged victorious by a very slim margin of 267 votes with 1,059,382 votes cast in their race.

"GAME-CHANGER."

Jessica N. Padilla (Republican), was endorsed by me over Je’Rell A. Rogers (Democrat), in the race for Judge, County Criminal Court at Law No. 14, in Harris County, Texas, and she emerged victorious by a slim margin of 14,290 votes with 1,053 votes cast in their race.

THE FIRST AMENDMENT

"The First Amendment (1791) prohibits Congress from obstructing the exercise of certain individual freedoms: freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and right to petition. Its Free Exercise Clause guarantees a person's right to hold whatever religious beliefs they want, and to freely exercise that belief, and its Establishment Clause prevents the federal government from creating an official national church or favoring one set of religious beliefs over another. The amendment guarantees an individual's right to express and to be exposed to a wide range of opinions and views. It was intended to ensure a free exchange of ideas, even unpopular ones. It also guarantees an individual's right to physically gather or associate with others in groups for economic, political, or religious purposes. Additionally, it guarantees an individual's right to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
