The FBI and Texas Rangers Are Investigating Attempts to Buy Votes, Warned Gary Wade; Ray “RC” Jones Issues Warning

Erica Lee Carter (left) is employed by Harris County Precinct One Commissioner Rodney Ellis (center) and has worked for Ellis since 2020. Erica Lee Carter works as Commissioner Rodney Ellis's "SENIOR POLICY ADVISOR," which means Commissioner Ellis is Erica Lee Carter's boss. With this as a backdrop, and you know how Commissioner Rodney Ellis operates, Erica Lee Carter had no choice but to endorse Commissioner Rodney Ellis's choice to succeed her late mother. THE FBI AND TEXAS RANGERS... According to an email by Gary Wade (bottom right), a constituent of the 18th Congressional District with solid ties to state Senator Borris L. Miles (Senate District 13), he's been alerted to the fact that "VOTE SELLING" could be taking place behind the scenes. Wade sent an email to "PRECINCT JUDGES," warning them that the FBI and the Texas Rangers are investigating the complaints and allegations. Ray "R.C." Jones has served as an executive member for forty-eight years and also issued a warning to the HCDP Precinct Chairs.

According to sources, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (right) considered Commissioner Rodney Ellis a close friend. However, multiple sources who knew Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee well are convinced that the Honorable Congresswoman did not particularly care for former Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and would not want him to have her 18th Congressional District seat. What you must remember about Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee's daughter (Erica Lee Carter) endorsing corrupt a$$$ Sylvester Turner yesterday (Monday, August 5, 2024) is that Erica Lee Carter's boss is Commissioner Rodney Ellis.

Ray "R.C." Jones was an executive member of the Democratic Party for over forty-eight years and currently serves as the President of the North Side Political Action Group. He recently sent out a letter to "ALL DEMOCRATIC EXECUTIVE MEMBERS," reminding them that it is a crime to accept pay for their votes. R.C. also implored the HCDP Precinct Chairs, who will be voting on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, to nominate a replacement for the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (right), to adhere to the highest ethical standards to maintain the trust of their constituents.

According to Gary Wade, a local businessman with strong ties to state Sen. Borris L. Miles (Senate District 13), it's come to his attention that there have been attempts to buy votes from HCDP Precinct Chairs for the 18th Congressional District, who may be voting in the nomination process scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. "This is a serious crime. The FBI and the Texas Rangers are investigating this matter thoroughly and are prepared to prosecute anyone involved in such illegal activities to the fullest extent of the law," said Gary Wade in an email sent out to Precinct Judges.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Early voting will begin on Monday, October 21, 2024, and end on Friday, November 1, 2024, for the upcoming Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Presidential Election. It is incumbent upon us to make it our business to select the best candidate available in every down-ballot race."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Over the last few days, I have been speaking to local “BLACK LEADERS” and stakeholders who are very concerned and displeased with the reality that a small group of HCDP Precinct Chairs will have the authority to select the person to succeed the late Honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, in Harris County, Texas.

That said, the only “CANDIDATE FORUM” scheduled to take place before the HCDP Precinct Chairs convene to select a nominee will take place on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Young Women’s College Preparatory Academy, located at 1906 Cleburne Street, Houston, Texas 77004 — in Third Ward, Texas.

From what I understand, the “CANDIDATE FORUM” will begin at 9:00 A.M. and continue throughout the day – especially if all seventeen of the presumed candidates appear.

“RAY SPEAKS OUT.”

The Harris County Precinct Chairs for the 18th Congressional District have been getting an ear full from strong local long-time Democratic leaders like Ray “R.C.” Jones, the President of the North Side Political Action Group.

What you also need to know about “R.C.” is that he also served as an executive member for over forty-eight years in Harris County, Texas.

What I love about “R.C.” is that he’s not afraid to speak his mind and isn’t scared to stand ten-toes down, even if it means he must face Commissioner Rodney Ellis.

“Illegal Voting Practices: It is a crime to accept pay for your vote,” wrote R.C. in a recent letter addressing some of the illegalities that may (or may not) be happening behind the scenes, depending on who you ask.

He explained, “Any such actions undermine the integrity of our democratic process and will not be tolerated.

“GARY STEPS UP.”

In an email sent to “DEMOCRATIC PRECINCT JUDGES AND CONSTITUENTS,” Gary Wade, a constituent who lives inside the boundaries of the 18th Congressional District, stepped up to the plate and voiced his concerns about the nomination process being fair and equitable.

“It has come to my attention that there have been attempts to buy votes within our district,” proclaimed Wade. “This is a serious crime,” he explained.

According to Wade’s email, the FBI and the Texas Rangers are investigating this matter thoroughly. They are prepared to prosecute anyone involved in such illegal activities to the fullest extent of the law.”

“We have a strong pool of candidates ready to fill the seat of our beloved Sheila, and we must choose the best person to represent the 18th Congressional District,” he said.

In closing, Wade implored the “DEMOCRATIC PRECINCT JUDGES” to do the right thing. “If you are approached with an offer of money for your vote, please refuse,” begged Wade.

In his letter, he told them, “Accepting such offers puts you at risk and undermines the integrity of our democratic process.”

“ABOUT YESTERDAY.”

The first thing the HCDP Precinct Chairs must realize about the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s daughter, Erica Lee Carter, is that Harris County Precinct One Commissioner Rodney Ellis employs her.

Yes, you heard me right!

Eric Lee Carter, MPP, has been the full-time Senior Policy Advisor for Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis since August 2020. She also served on the Harris County Department of Education board from 2013 through 2018.

To make a long story shorter, the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee would have loved nothing more than for her only daughter Erica Lee Carter to have succeeded her – but Erica Lee Carter is weak and more than likely vulnerable after losing her beloved mother – Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, to pancreatic cancer.

So, I will give Erica Lee Carter a pass – for now.

I have nothing against the Honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s daughter. Still, I’m just telling you – she appears to be a puppet, and the “PUPPET MASTER” himself could be pulling the strings of his subordinate.

Did I mention that Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis is Erica Lee Carter’s boss? If so, please forgive me – I’m just saying.

Listen. Everyone knows that the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee didn’t particularly care for slick-a$$ Sylvester Turner – she did not like him.

How do I know?

The same person who revealed the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s pancreatic cancer diagnosis to me has bluntly told me that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee did not like Sylvester Turner.

As for Commissioner Rodney Ellis, he and the Honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee were good friends, from what I understand. Commissioner Ellis controls the entire process of choosing a successor for the late Congresswoman. And slick-a$$ Sylvester Turner is lying out of both sides of his mouth as usual.

Former Mayor Sylvester Turner and Commissioner Rodney Ellis must keep the 18th Congressional District seat under their control, and “SLY” is the best hope for them to do so.

If you remember, these are the two who recruited the late Congresswoman to run for Mayor of Houston in 2023, a mistake that, in hindsight, turned out to be the undoing of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, according to sources close to her.

“TOO MUCH STRESS.”

The defeat suffered by the Honorable Congresswoman was more than she could stand, and she never really recovered mentally from the public humiliation she suffered by being exposed publicly as a ‘filthy-mouthed’ U.S. Representative in that audio tape that was released right before the start of “EARLY VOTING” for her showdown against Whitmire. And having her vulnerabilities as a candidate put on full display for the entire world to see was embarrassing for the late Congresswoman.

It wasn’t a fluke that the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee performed poorly against state Senator John Whitmire during the Saturday, December 9, 2023, runoff election. John Whitmire received 64.4% of the vote as a refresher, and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee received 35.6%– unfathomable.

What we learned about Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and the newly drawn 18th Congressional District is that the “18TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT” really didn’t turn out for “SHE-JACK,” and many Black voters cast their votes for Whitmire over her.

“ANYTHING TO WIN.”

Stealing the identities of “DEAD BLACK PEOPLE” was a common occurrence in re-election bids involving Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. The criminal operation I’m speaking of was organized, orchestrated, and run by Gerald Womack, the owner of Womack Development & Investment Realtors – right out of the offices at 4412 Almeda Road, Houston, Texas 77004.

It’s no wonder Gerald Womack has endorsed former Mayor Sylvester Turner – they’re both cut from the same cloth. Both Womack and Turner are crooks and will do anything to remain relevant after the passing of the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.

As for the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s children endorsing corrupt-A$$ former Mayor Sylvester Turner – that’s another story altogether.

“The son and the daughter of the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee have decided to endorse Mayor Turner to fill their mother’s legacy,” former Houston Councilman Dwight Boykins told ABC13, according to a published report.

Boykins said, “And with respect to their wishes, I plan to bow out of the race because I think they have that right."

I don’t know if Dwight Boykins made the right decision, but he decided to make it, and I am not sure if he could win the hearts and minds of the HCDP Precinct Chairs who would be voting anyway.

In an open election, Boykins would more than likely be a heavy favorite – but this “PRECINCT CHAIR” election crap would not have favored him.

As for the presumed 16 or so hopefuls left in the race, if Sylvester Turner does not win on the first ballot, to have any hope of defeating him, those candidates will need to band together, galvanize their supporters, and encourage them to vote for anyone but Sylvester Turner in the finale—that’s the only way someone other than the former Mayor of Houston will lose his bid to succeed his long-time friend.

“CLOSING THOUGHTS.”

Multiple sources are telling me that former Mayor Sylvester Turner has enough votes to win the nomination on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, but that’s a damn shame. In my opinion, Sylvester Turner is by far the most corrupt man to serve as Mayor of any American City.

Sylvester Turner is corrupt, you all.

Dan Simons will run for Harris County District Attorney against Sean Teare on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in what is expected to be an extremely close race.

“MEET DAN SIMONS.”

Dan Simons was born and raised in Southeast Texas. His family was impoverished and lived through the struggle of poverty. During his childhood, there were times when he was homeless and had no choice but to live in cars or tents to survive. Dan constantly faced problems and chaos in his family, ultimately being placed in foster care at a young age. He has four brothers and one sister, none of whom ever graduated high school, much like his parents.

At twelve, seeking stability to graduate high school, he made the tough decision to move in with a family he met through the Salvation Army. Through sheer determination and hard work, he graduated at the top of his class and was named All-District Quarterback in his senior high school. Dan became the first person in his family to graduate from high school.

After graduating high school in 1996, he joined the United States Air Force to serve his country.

In 2005, he moved back to Texas, intending to further his education and become a lawyer. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2008 at the top of his class. He went on to attend the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, graduating Magna Cum Laude in December of 2011. He received his Masters in Tax Law from the University of Houston in 2013.

As Assistant District Attorney, Dan handled thousands of cases. He tried 29 Misdemeanor Jury Trials and had five acquittals; 13 Felony Jury Trials and had only one acquittal; and 26 Justice of the Peace Court and Jury Trials. Dan's total conviction rate was 84%.

As a Misdemeanor Chief in Criminal Court No. 14, Dan Simons reduced the docket by over 200 cases in less than four months — a 20% reduction that reduced the court's burden and saved the county costs. In early 2017, he left the DA’s Office to work in private practice.

In 2018, he started his practice, Dan Simons Law Firm, focusing on criminal cases in Harris County, Fort Bend County, and Montgomery County, Texas.

“THE RIGHT MAN.”

Harris County has enough politicians. We need a Harris County District Attorney who isn’t afraid of political party bosses. We need a truth-seeking prosecutor – not a politician.

We need someone committed to restoring public safety, trust, and peace of mind in Harris County, Texas; Dan Simons is the right man for the job.

We need a Harris County DA who will protect the people, respect them, and give victims the justice they deserve; Dan Simons fits the bill, in my opinion.

Dan Simons is committed to ensuring that business owners receive equal protection under the law, enabling local communities to thrive rather than merely survive.

We’ve got some innocent citizens getting charged and convicted of crimes they may not have committed. With an honest man like Dan Simons as the Harris County District Attorney, wrongful convictions will decrease significantly, while lawbreakers can expect to receive the punishment they deserve.

Moreover, we can’t do anything about the past, but with Dan Simons as our District Attorney, addressing mistakes expeditiously rather than hiding them – could serve as a much-needed foundation to rebuild trust in our criminal justice system.
