A "2013 LEADERSHIP SERIES SALUTE" Goes out to the Twenty Quail Valley Middle School Students from Fort Bend ISD who participated in the 2013 Junior VASE Art Competition

FBISD's Quail Valley Middle School students win Numerous Awards at Art Competition

Twenty Quail Valley Middle School (QVMS) students from all three grade levels competed at the Junior VASE Art Competition earlier in May. The Jr. VASE (Visual Arts Scholastic Event) contest is held to recognize exemplary student achievement in visual art through individual and original expression. Fifteen QVMS students received a four (Gold) rating. All Gold Medal students are then judged for a Superior rating, which is a perfect score. Three QVMS students were awarded Superior medals, and each grade level was represented. More than 600 contestants from the Houston and surrounding area participated in the competition.

Superior Medals were awarded to:

Chris Oxley (two superior medals) – 7th grade
Anton Zhou – 8th grade
