Buzbee is NOT Trailing Sylvester Turner by 20% Points Says Aubrey R. Taylor, Publisher of Houston Business Connections Newspaper

Tony Buzbee is in no measurable way 20% points behind Mayor Sylvester Turner coming into today, Saturday, December 14, 2019. And if for some strange reason Tony Buzbee happens to be trailing by a 20 point margin, it's because there's some funny business going on with the turnout numbers. JUST KIDDING...BUT NOT REALLY! So, let's be clear, Tony Buzbee is not trailing Mayor Sylvester Turner by 20% points like a recent HPM-KHOU 11 poll suggests -- don't fall for that crap. Remember how virtually every national poll suggested that former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton was supposed to soundly defeat Donald J. Trump back in 2016? Hey, we are not calling the producers, or should we say manufacturers of the aforementioned poll liars. But rather, simply suggesting that the data used to conduct the poll may be flawed in that the polling data used does not factor in the recent early in-person voting surges in places like Kingwood and other conservative areas. Nor did the poll take into account that there was an increase in mail ballot returns from the general election (early voting period) to the end of the early voting period for these runoffs. Look, the surge in Kingwood from the early voting period back in the general election to now is a significant and measurable factor that points to an increase in voter excitement centered around a potential Tony Buzbee Mayoralship. What am I talking about? Here goes, back during the early voting period for the general election, only 6,632 voters went to the polls to cast an early vote at the Kingwood Community Center. However, during the shortened runoff period (by two days), 8,092 votes were cast at the Kingwood Community Center. So, no other early voting location can boast an increase quite this significant. Look, the poll that many pundits, political-bosses, biased analysts, and the fake news media are relying on is flat-wrong. And furthermore, to produce that poll, the manufacturers of it conducted live telephone interviews with people they had already previously talked to back before the general election even took place. HERE IS WHAT THE POLLSTERS SAID IN THEIR EXPLANATION: "Live telephone interviews were conducted with 234 of the 516 registered voters who were surveyed in the previous HPM-KHOU 11 poll, conducted ahead of the November election. Interviews took place between November 20 and December 5, 2019. The poll’s margin of error is +/- 6.4% at the 95% confidence level. The Public Policy Research Institute at Texas A&M University conducted the live telephone interviews. Rice University’s Robert Stein and Lena Gohlman wrote and analyzed the survey." Look, the bottom line is this, it’s about to go down in H-Town today, Saturday, December 14, 2019, between Tony Buzbee and Mayor Sylvester Turner! So, please don't forget to remind every Houstonian you know that the polls will be open from 7am to 7pm today! And may God continue to bless, empower, and protect America as His vision for our "GREAT NATION" continues to unfold.

Every Vote Will Count Today as Tony Buzbee Seeks to Make Sylvester Turner the First One-Term Mayor in the History of Houston, Texas

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

No mayor, seeking re-election in the city of Houston has ever been booted from office after serving just one term. So, as Mayor Sylvester Turner seeks a second term, he has history on his side in this regard. But he should not consider it a foregone conclusion that he's won this election. The population of Houston is estimated to be in the neighborhood of 2.33 million people. So, while Houston has a rich heritage and burgeoning population, the politics in Houston is becoming increasingly more nasty, much more divisive, and more partisan than ever before. Look, win, lose, or draw, nothing good can come from the divisive and race bating tactics we are seeing play out in the 2019 race for Mayor of Houston. And no matter who wins today, I don’t know about you, but as for me, I do not want to see the results of this election come down to people waltzing into the voting booth and casting ballots based upon the skin color of the candidates who made their way on to the ballot. This is not the way we should be choosing our elected officials. We can do better than identity politics – and we must do better, and we must do better right now. That being said, we must also endeavor to make it our collective goal to get more Houstonians involved in the process of electing those who govern our city. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, for us to have 5%, 10%, and 20% voter turnouts, which is what has become commonplace in Houston, Texas.

The Notion that All Black Voters are Casting Their Ballot for Mayor Turner is a Lie

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I'd also like to take a quick moment to erase the notion that all Black voters are casting their ballot for Mayor Sylvester Turner and other Black candidates today, Saturday, December 14, 2019. This is a false narrative that has been written and ingrained into the minds of our people by ill-informed folks who are knowingly and willingly trying to brainwash the Black community. Again, this is a false narrative – DON’T BELIEVE IT! Even still, while some African Americans will indeed go into the voting booth and cast their ballot for a particular candidate because of the color of their skin – you also have a lot of whites who will do the same. THIS PRACTICE MUST STOP!!! So, let’s stop with the spreading of false and misleading narratives. And to this end, if we are truthful with ourselves, we all would have to admit that people, regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, sexual preference, or socio-economic status tend to better relate to people who they are able to identify with, and share commonalities with -- in my opinion. And hey, there’s absolutely nothing racist or wrong with this. So, as we continue to evolve into the nation God almighty intends for us to evolve into during this pivotal moment, let’s make it our business to make informed, empowered, and intelligent decisions as we endeavor to elect the “BEST QUALIFIED CANDIDATES” who value us and our community at the ballot box today. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

"Facebook likes and twitter feeds are not an indication of which candidate is winning what is expected to be a fight to the finish in the Saturday, December 14, 2019, runoff election race for Mayor of Houston between Tony Buzbee and Mayor Sylvester Turner. And these social platforms are certainly no way to measure which way African Americans are voting in this election either. Nope! Tony Buzbee’s campaign is continuing to build momentum among African Americans from what I can see. And nope! I’m not making this stuff up! The Saturday, December 14, 2019, runoff election between Tony Buzbee and Mayor Sylvester Turner will be decided at the ballot box on Saturday, December 14, 2019. And while a whole bunch of folks believes it’s a foregone conclusion that Mayor Sylvester Turner is going to win in a landslide, the numbers I have been studying paint a much different picture. Especially when you see the numbers the folks over in Kingwood put up, compared to the numbers that were posted at the Metropolitan Multi-Service Center. And with the numbers in predominantly African American areas showing virtually no surge at all, Turner versus Buzbee 2.0 is going to be very interesting in my opinion."

“Mean Gene” Hill Shares His Thoughts on the Mayor's Race with Aubrey R. Taylor

I’ve been saying for months now, that support for Tony Buzbee in the Black Community is continuing to grow. I’m not just making this stuff up. I am not sure why nobody else is talking about this. To this end, I recently asked Eugene “Mean Gene” Hill a professional heavyweight boxer with a record of 34 wins and 2 losses to share a few thoughts about his friendship with Tony Buzbee.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: How long have you and Tony Buzbee been friends?

MEAN GENE: “Tony and I have been friends since 2007. It began with him sponsoring me in my boxing career and a solid friendship grew from there, now we are like family.”

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: How do you feel about your friend Tony Buzbee running for mayor of Houston?

MEAN GENE: “I'm excited for him. I can say that Tony has Houston's best interest at heart. He didn't have to run for mayor, but he feels strongly about doing all he can to help improve a city that he loves so much.”

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: What would you say to the Houstonians who are (still undecided) about whether to vote for Tony Buzbee or Mayor Sylvester Turner?

MEAN GENE: “Turner has shown Houston what he can do and what his priorities are. I'd ask the (undecided) voters if they were happy with what they've seen.

I don't think there is a PERFECT person, but there is the BEST person for the position as the mayor of Houston. Tony has always fought for the people, as he's shown this time and time again, as a United States Marine, as a lawyer, and as a human being.

Campaign speeches, commercials, and politics aside... Just look at the depth in which both candidates have demonstrated as it relates to improving the quality of life for people. You will clearly see that Tony's level of commitment and sacrifice for the people far surpasses that of Turner.”
