On Saturday, February 15, 2025, former prizefighter turned businessman Eric Carr expressed his regret for helping former Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg get re-elected during her second term in office back during the 2020 Presidential Election. During the 2020 Democratic Party Primary, Kim Ogg, with the help of Eric Carr and other "BLACK COMMUNITY LEADERS," was able to defeat two duly qualified African American females (Audia Jones and Carvana Cloud), both former prosecutors who worked in Kim Ogg's Administration. Ogg also defeated Todd Overstreet, another former prosecutor. However, thanks to the courage of former prosecutor Sean Teare, an end was put to the reign of terror imposed on local "DEMOCRAT ELECTED OFFICIALS," like Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, and other political foes like Investigative Reporter Aubrey, R. Taylor, the president and CEO of Aubrey R. Taylor Communications, the publisher of the Houston Business Connections Newspaper.

Organizations like the Innocence Project must be supported and provided with the finances they need to protect the civil rights of the less fortunate. The Innocence Project, Inc. is a 501 nonprofit legal organization that works to exonerate the wrongly convicted through DNA testing and other forms of post-conviction relief, as well as advocate for criminal justice reform to prevent future injustice.
Did you know that nearly 60% of the people that the Innocence Project has helped to free or exonerate since 1992 are Black? If not, I bet you didn't know that research by the Innocence Project shows that over 50% of exonerees of color who were under 21 when they were arrested had at least one false implication by another youth.
Listen!!! I'm not saying that "BLACK FOLKS" don't commit crimes. What I'm saying is that too many Black men are forced into plea agreements because they do not have the financial means to fight back against our "TWO-TIERED" Criminal Justice System that has been weaponized against 'BLACK MEN" forcing many who are accused of crimes to plead guilty to crimes they did not commit.
But you don't have to take my word for it. If you look at the cases below, all these men were exonerated of crimes they did not commit. That said, as the 2026 Midterms draw nearer, please do your research on every "2026 JUDICIAL CANDIDATE," and make sure that the judges you vote for are tough, fair, compassionate, and not a "CLOSET RACIST," looking to carry out their racist inclinations of people of color.
