HOUSTON -- Carmen Maria Montiel has announced that she's holding a press conference to discuss how she was manhandled and thrown out of the Harris County Republican Party Headquarters last week on Thursday, September 8, 2022. According to Montiel, the video of the event (that's floating around) does not show everything that occurred when she showed up for a press conference that she received an email invite to attend.
"I was basically thrown out of the GOP headquarters," said Montiel." She went on to explain how she called the police for help; but ended up being humiliated, demeaned, and disrespected by members of the GOP Leadership. "Casey Voeks, the executive director for the Harris County Republican Party told me to not come back to the GOP Headquarters located at (8588 Katy Fwy #445, Houston, TX 77024), while I was being escorted out of the building by the police," she says.
