The Power Players in 2022 Will Differ From What We Saw Back in the 2020 and 2018 General Elections in Harris County

Amir Mireskandari (second from left) and his wife were huge “POWER PLAYERS” back during the 2022 Midterm Elections in Harris County, Texas. Do you see Amir with his arms around Kim Ogg and Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis? Well, that’s because at the time Amir was Kim Ogg’s political consultant, and was very instrumental in helping Kim Ogg to win the Harris County District Attorney's Office, she currently holds. Now, do you see Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis (second from right), attending Kim Ogg’s surprise birthday celebration at the Tanglewood home of Amir Mireskandari and his wife? You can "CLICK HERE" to learn more about Amir Mireskandari, and the power he wields over District Attorney Kim Ogg.

WHY HAVE "POLITICAL OUTSIDERS" IN HARRIS COUNTY GOTTEN INDICTED AND "POLITICAL INSIDERS" WITH TIES TO  KIM OGG NOT BEEN INDICTED?

THE QUID PRO QUO BETWEEN KIM OGG AND STATE REP. HAROLD V. DUTTON DETAILED BY ATTORNEY "DOWNTOWN" OLIVER BROWN

As detailed in the "SECRETLY RECORDED AUDIO" that has been turned over to the FBI, District Attorney Kim Ogg owed State Rep. Harold Dutton and his cohorts a huge favor for supporting her re-election bid over her two viable Black female Democratic challengers back during the 2020 Democratic Party Primary, when Ogg was running for re-election. Now, I'm sure by now many of you have already heard this "SECRETLY RECORDED AUDIO" of State Rep. Harold Dutton's chief of staff, Tamoria Jones explaining how State Rep. Harold V. Dutton was going to pay his political rivals back for costing him a lot of money? However, what you might not know, is that State Rep. Harold Dutton and Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg used some of the same 'alleged' "ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOT HARVESTERS" to help them secure their re-election bids.

Amir Mireskandari was much more than a political consultant to Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg. He was also one of the key behind-the-scenes architects of the movement that evolved into “Black Girl Magic” where a historic nineteen African American female Democratic judicial candidates were all on the ballot running for office at the same time. That said, as evidenced by the fact both Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis and Kim Ogg, were both present at Amir’s Tanglewood home tells you all you need to know about the stroke and power that Amir wielded in Harris County, Texas at the time. You can "CLICK HERE" to learn more about Amir Mireskandari, and the power he wields over District Attorney Kim Ogg.

District Attorney Kim Ogg (second from right), and Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis (far left), got along really well prior to Commissioner Rodney Ellis leaving the state senate to become the Precinct One Commissioner, in Harris County, Texas. In the photo above, all was good between Ogg and Ellis. How do I know? Well, when Kim Ogg posted the photo you see above, to her Facebook page, she stated, “Great time at the Victory Fund 2016 Houston Brunch. Honored to have been endorsed by the National Victory Fund. Photo is with good friends State Senator Rodney Ellis, Charlotte City Councilor Lawana Mayfield, and Houston Councilmember David Robinson.” You can "CLICK HERE" to learn more about how Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis escaped getting indicted for the priceless artwork fiasco.

Carroll G. Robinson (left), the chairman of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats, and State Senator Borris L. Miles (right) have a lot of pull with Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg. In fact, it was Carroll G. Robinson and his cohorts who applied the pressure on Kim Ogg, which eventually led to her bringing charges against Damien Thaddeus Jones, Richard Bonton, and Natasha Demming, following the 2020 Presidential Election. You can "CLICK HERE" to learn more about what attorney Downtown Oliver Brown called a "QUID PRO QUO" between District Attorney Kim Ogg, and State Rep. Harold Dutton (HD-142), which was backed up by a "SECRETLY RECORDED" audio tape that has since been handed over to the FBI by Downtown Oliver Brown.

Gerald Womack is the "MONEY MAN" and campaign manager for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, the U.S. Representative for the 18th Congressional District. But what you might not know, is that Gerald Womack is also "alleged," to be one of the "POWER PLAYERS" in the "ABSENTEE BALLOT HARVESTING" scheme that runs straight through Third Ward and Southwest Houston. In fact, the "ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOT APPLICATIONS" belonging to "DEAD PEOPLE" have been directly tied to Democratic operatives who were hired by Gerald Womack, to secure mail ballots for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee for several decades.

The Power Players in 2022 Will Be Different From What We Saw Back in the 2020 and 2018 General Elections in Harris County

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

As of today, in public, it doesn’t appear that there’s any love lost between Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg and Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis. However, what we see playing out in public may not be what’s going on behind the scenes. What you have to remember about politics, is that politics is a game of leveraging the power you have. And truth be told, right now, Democrats hold all the cards, and therefore are in the driver’s seat.

Do you remember when Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis got into trouble behind his storing of all of that priceless African American artwork? Did anything happen to Ellis? Nope! Why? Well, that’s because like him or not, Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis wields a certain degree of power in Harris County, Texas. Commissioner Ellis is the undisputed “SHOT-CALLER” and “PUPPET MASTER” in Harris County, Texas.

As relates to Amir Mireskandari, he still wields a certain degree of power in local Harris County politics. Amir Mireskandari is a “KING-MAKER” and if he decides to playball in the 2022 Midterm Election, from behind the scenes, he’s the kind of guy who has enough political capital, and financial means to help Democratic incumbent judges fend off their Republican counterparts.

Amir, as he’s affectionately known in Democratic circles spent time studying at the Harvard Business School Executive Education, as well as at the prestigious George Washing University. So, if you think I’m blowing smoke as it pertains to his prowess and “POLITICAL INFLUENCE” you’d better think again.

Remember back when Amir Miraskandair, Kim Ogg’s political consultant got “CAUGHT UP” and was named by the defense lawyers who were representing the Post Oak Poker Club and The Prime Social Poker Room, as the man they paid more than $250,000 for some type of legislative lobbying? Well, what did Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg do for her political consultant, once she learned of his involvement? Huh? Do you remember? Well, she dropped the charges against the nine members of the Texas poker rooms who were arrested and charged.

Why did Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg drop the charges against the nine members of the Texas poker rooms who were arrested? Well, once it was discovered that Amir Mireskandari was involved, Kim Ogg dropped the charges citing that it could potentially be a conflict of interest of some sort.

CLOSING THOUGHT

As it relates to Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in the Midterm Election, African American judicial incumbents and other Black candidates are going to face different challenges than other down-ballot Democrats, who will be running countywide in Harris County, Texas. How can I say this? Well, there are several sub-groups from within the Democratic Party, who, according to my sources, are “SECRETLY” working together to purge Harris County, of some of its African American judicial members.

Why would some Democrats subgroups be working to purge Harris County of some of our local Black judges? Well, for starters, African Americans have been unseating some well-financed non-Black Democratic incumbents. But more importantly, African Americans have also unseated quite a few “OPENLY GAY” Democratic incumbent judges over the last two election cycles.

WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT?

Back during the 2020 Democratic Party primaries, in Harris County, Texas, three of the “OPENLY GAY” Democratic judges were unseated. And several other non-Black Democratic judges were unseated as well. MAYOR KEVIN COLE: “Freedom – I believe freedom is the ability to say or think according to one’s beliefs without duress. I also believe we all have the free will for our own pursuit of happiness in this world. I have lived my life in a way to be in a position to have freedom of my time, freedom of my thought, freedom to live my faith, and long for everyone to do the same.”

Juneteenth represents the Official Kick-Off of the 2022 Voter Education, Mobilization, Empowerment Initiative for Harris County

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

In case you don’t know, African Americans have celebrated some great achievements since, June 19, 1865, the day Union soldiers arrived in Galveston to bring news of freedom to the last 250,000 enslaved Black people in Texas. That said, I’m not proud of the fact that it took two years after President Abraham Lincoln’s signing of the Emancipation Proclamation, for the word that my ancestors were free to make it to the plantations here in Texas. But nonetheless, I’m honored to declare that I’m a “FREE MAN” living my dream right now.

FREEDOM AIN’T FREE

In my opinion, too many of my people (Black folks), are still living on “MENTAL PLANTATIONS” right now Texas. And when it comes to Harris County, there’s a lot of work that’s still left to do as we press forward towards Tuesday, November 8, 2022, and beyond. That said, in my professional opinion, if we don’t break the “MENTAL CHAINS” that people are using to try and hold us, hostage, we’re going to lose the “POLITICAL STRENGTH” that our forefathers fought, bled, and died for us to enjoy.

FREEDOM TO CHOOSE

It’s important for my people (Black folks), to understand that voting is a personal decision. And nobody has ownership over our “GOD-GIVEN” right to pursue our own individual destiny as “GOD-ALMIGHTY” gives us strength. Nobody has the right to try and “SHAME US” into supporting their candidacies. Nobody has the right to tell us that we’re not Black if we don’t cast our vote for them. I’ll bet our ancestors were turning over in their graves back during the 2022 Presidential Election when they heard Joe Biden say that black voters who were torn between voting for him, or President Trump “ain’t black,” remarks that he was forced to apologize for – but I digress.

CELEBRATING JUNETEENTH

As part of our “2022 VOTER EDUCATION, MOBILIZATION, AND EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE” that’s aimed at “PUTTING PEOPLE OVER POLITICS” in Harris County I would like to wish a few of our local leaders a “HAPPY JUNETEENTH HOLIDAY” as we kick off our push toward Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Midterm Election, in the Lone Star State.

Polls Show That Beto “O’Rourke Will Have A Tough Time Defeating Gov. Greg Abbott

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

The fight for Texas is going to be fierce. And believe it or not, Deirdre Gilbert, a “RISING POLITICAL STAR” is actually “IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT” right now. How? Well, with polls Gov. Greg Abbott (Republican) with a sizable lead over Beto O’Rourke (Democrat), in the Lone Star State. So, no matter how you look at it, Deirdre Gilbert running as an "INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE" for Governor of Texas on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, is going to cause some serious problems in urban areas across the State of Texas -- especially since there won't be any straight-ticket voting.

MEET DEIRDRE GILBERT

Deirdre Gilbert has earned her M.A. in Educational Administration, and her B.S. in Political Science and Mass Communication (Cum Laude) from Prairie View A&M University; she is a native Houstonian, a graduate of the public school system attending elementary, middle, and high school graduating from Madison high. Deirdre has resided in Harris County for over 40 years before settling in Fort Bend County for over 10 years. Deirdre is an educator with 26 years of experience working in Houston, Aldine, and Fort Bend School Districts and is a former Houston Independent School District teacher’s union representative.

Her mother was a key influence in her life. She was a community activist and the first black woman to run for Constable in Harris County. Deirdre is best known in the community and around the country for her fight, both personally and publicly, for justice for those of medical negligence. After losing her only child, Jocelyn, because of medical negligence, Deirdre confronted the medical community and the state agencies that support it. She stood not only for herself and in memory of her daughter, but on behalf of people around the state and across the country who have felt powerless in the wake of such devastating loss.

Deirdre has worked tirelessly in her own community of Sienna Plantation, further, she’s worked on issues such as denial of voting rights in local elections within Missouri City, and MUD District issues. She has spoken before the Texas Legislature and U.S. Congress in Washington D.C on civil rights. Deirdre has helped to shape legislation regarding whistleblowers, medical malpractice, and education. Deirdre is not afraid of a battle and is willing to speak for those who are unable to speak for themselves. In addition to helping those in her community, state, local and national, she also works for a non-profit that helps veterans find employment.

Deirdre has been capturing the attention of media nationally for some time. In 2007, she released her first book entitled, “Can I Just Have a Little Bit? A Little Bit of What?” Her recent work, “Momma Help Me Please,” was inspired by the first love of her life, her daughter Jocelyn.

Deirdre is an avid speaker at book clubs, churches, and professional, civic, and community organizations.

She has been featured in Beautifully Said Magazine and African American Newspaper; mentioned in Harper’s Magazine by Ralph Nader a strong advocate for justice, received professional recognition in Women on the Move section of the Houston Business Journal, and featured in Bronze Magazine several times and in Saved Magazine along with other powerful women in ministry such as Joyce Meyers. Deirdre was mentioned in Washington Post, Stat News, and several online publications regarding her stance on medical malpractice. This journey has led to the first Blog Talk Show “Life” Radio Show that focused on “victims” of medical malpractice and then rebranded with another show called “Med/Mal Radio Show-What’s Your Verdict and just recently Malpractice Diaries-MD –We Tell the Secrets they Keep.

Since 2011, Deirdre Gilbert has not backed down from her challenges, founding non-profits such as the National Medical Malpractice Advocacy Association (NMMAA), serving as its National Director, and Executive Director of the Jocelyn Y. Dickson Foundation. NMMAA is a non-partisan educational organization that was created to promote transparency, accountability and integrity in the medical profession. Through NMMAA’s educational endeavor, she advocates high standards of ethics and morality to ensure non-abuse of the powers entrusted to the profession by the American people. Under her direction, these non-profits have gained support from members of Congress, garnered attention and recognition among state lawmakers, and sparked open dialogue and inquiry into medical negligence. With her husband of 7 years, Mr. Kurt E. Gilbert, beside her, she has spoken boldly before Medical Boards, Government Agencies, the State Legislature, and the US Congress calling for repeal of TORT Reforms, review of the Information Act as it relates to medical doctors, greater accountability in the hospital industry, and Justice for All who fall victim to healthcare abuse. The core of her message is consistent, Justice for All.

Deirdre achieved a milestone twice, first when she was asked to speak at the Whistleblower’s Summit in Washington, DC 2016, and again in 2019 when she provided testimony at the Senate Judiciary Committee Hearings about the devastating effects of medical malpractice. She has spearheaded the nation’s 1st Medical Malpractice Conference that convened medical professionals, attorneys, civil rights leaders, social justice organizations, patient safety advocates, and legislative leaders. Her third milestone was when she threw her hat in the political ring and decided to run for Justice of the Peace, Pct. 2, Fort Bend County, TX. Deirdre assisted with having H.R. 614 resolution filed in the Texas Legislature, recognizing Medical Malpractice in the State of Texas. In addition, Deirdre created a new initiative, “The Medical Malpractice Right to Justice Project’s mission to assist those harmed by medical negligence and whose cases were never heard in a court of law, to bring these cases before a court based on evidence ranging from misstated/understated or erroneous death certificates, misstated/understated/overstated or erroneous expert reports, altered or falsified medical records, the existence of individual, hospital, physician, and institutional agencies conflict of interest.

Deirdre Gilbert was instrumental in getting the 1st proclamation in 2013 recognizing July as Medical Malpractice Month. Since then, the organization has been given recognition from the State of Missouri’s Governor Jeremiah W. Nixon, the State of Colorado’s Governor John Hickenlooper, and the State of Georgia’s Governor Nathan Deal. The organization has also received several congressional, state, and local recognition. Deirdre created the first PSA that aired on Harkins movie screens across the states in September 2016, promoting and educating the public on “Preventable Medical Mistakes.” In 2019 NMMAA received the 1st Enrolled House Resolution 86 (R) HR 614 by the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas Legislature recognizing July as Medical Malpractice Month.

Deirdre Gilbert was vital in the creation of the first chapter of attorneys in the State of Louisiana and Virginia that have acquired lobbyist that handles the legislative needs of NMMAA. The lobbying action is geared toward bill drafting and legislative reform to help those harmed by egregious acts of medical malpractice.

Deirdre has worked tirelessly with The Government Accountability Project, The Black Heritage Society, Greater Houston Coalition for Justice, Make It Safe Campaign, The National Association for Probate Reform & Advocacy, NAACP-Health Chair Committee Missouri City Chapter, NAACP-Fort Bend-Wharton Chapter, National Action Network to create the first medical malpractice health initiative, National Congress of Black Women, State of Texas Sunset Advisory Committee.

DEIRDRE GILBERT: "The message is that "VOTER FRAUD" is not going on, and that is far from the truth. January 6th happened, but that's not the story. Ballot harvesters are stealing elections through a variety of means. Voter Fraud is not just a ONE-PARTY issue." You can "CLICK HERE" for a closer look at this advertisement."

"Now is the time when our love for America must prevail. It is incumbent upon us to elect "PUBLIC SERVANTS" who understand that they work for us. We need "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in office who love "OUR CONSTITUTION" and the ideals that our nation was founded upon by our forefathers. We must make it our collective effort to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this crucial moment in time."

Favoritism and Party Politics Have No Place Inside Our Harris County Courtrooms

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

At the end of the day, the judicial races are the most important races on the ballot. That said, who we allow to put on that black robe and occupy judicial benches (especially in Harris County, Texas) matters a great deal. Over the years, through straight-ticket voting, and folks going into the polls playing "Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe" we've allowed a few bad folks to slip through the cracks. Now, I'm not trying to play party politics in any way, shape, or form, with my words. All I'm trying to say is that nobody is perfect, but if we make it our goal to elevate people who fear God and have a backbone into positions of authority, every one of us will be afforded the opportunity to live our best life.
