Have you been watching the nightly news? Listen, make no mistake about "CRIME AND CORRUPTION" are the two major issues facing Harris County, Texas, if you ask me. That being said, it's imperative that the public understands the seriousness of the crime issue in Harris County, Texas.
“COMPROMISED KIM” and her lawless regime of Liberal cohorts have allowed Harris County, Texas to become “THE MURDER CAPITAL” of America as a result of their failed socialist policies.”
“LOCKDOWN LINA” has failed at her #1 job duty, which is to keep the citizens of Harris County safe. So, Democrats should cast their vote for anyone but Lina on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, in the Democratic Party Primary race for Harris County Judge."
The City of Houston Has Become "THE CRIME CAPITAL" of America Under Lina Hidalgo's Watch
A public official’s number one job is public safety. Yet crime has spiked to record-breaking levels in Harris County on County Judge Lina Hidalgo’s watch, while 100,000 criminal cases are backlogged. Meanwhile, Hidalgo and the Democrats on Commissioners Court continue to support policies that protect dangerous criminals instead of victims, law-abiding citizens, and law enforcement.
The majority of Americans at 75% say more police are needed on the streets amid concerns over a rise in violent crime nationwide. Defunding and demoralizing our law enforcement only encourages criminals and makes our communities less safe. Yet in June 2021, Hidalgo singularly decided to strip an estimated $20 million away from Harris County Constables. While these funds were supposed to be re-directed into other avenues of crime-fighting, the reality is that they were set aside for Judge Hidalgo and the Court to use as needed for any other budget shortfall or social program experiment.
In 2019, Hidalgo bragged about passing bail reform, which allows dangerous criminals and habitual violent offenders to be released from jail with little or no bail costs and puts them back on the streets where they are free to commit more violent crimes. Hidalgo championed bail reform in her 2018 platform and it was one of the primary policies she campaigned on before she was elected – and today we now know it was at the expense of your public safety. Hidalgo now says she doesn’t like the new system and blames the skyrocketing murder rate on people in the bail bond industry, despite the fact that she help create the new rules.
The statistics are alarming.
In 2020, Houstonians had a 1 in 991 chance of becoming a victim of violent crime and a 1 and 22 chance of becoming a victim of property crime. This is simply unacceptable.
According to Houston Crime Stoppers:
The 2021 homicide rate in Houston has risen 71% compared to 2019. (That number is even higher when adding in Harris County.)
Since 2019, dangerous criminals – released on multiple felony bonds, personal recognizance (PR) bonds, motion to revoke bond, and bond forfeiture – have murdered or killed at least 156 victims in Harris County. These are just the known cases – Crime Stoppers experts believe this number is significantly higher.
Of those 156 victims, more than 120 murders have occurred since 2020 (indicating the rapid spike in crime).
Public safety must be a priority. The revolving door at the Courthouse must be addressed.
Beginning as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, I’ve spent over four decades working in the legal system and I served as Chairman of the State Bar of Texas, the governing body of all Texas lawyers. I have the experience needed to get our criminal justice system back on track. As your next County Judge, I pledge to fully fund our Constables department, give our law enforcement officers the support and resources they need and fix the broken felony bond system so that dangerous criminals remain in jail instead of on the streets.
When I’m on Commissioners Court, I will restore law and order to our county and ensure a safer future for all Harris County residents.

We must endeavor to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this crucial moment during the history of our great nation."

Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in the upcoming 2022 Midterms, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.
