Super Tuesday is Finally Here; Polls Will Be Open from 7 am to 7 pm in Harris County, Texas; Early Voting Turnout Was Low

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

To say that early voting turnout in Texas has been very disappointing would be a huge understatement. But when it comes to Harris County, Texas, many political pundits are left baffled heading into today.

If the Presidential Election were today, every local Democrat running countywide would be on the verge of being swept out of office based on the lackadaisical turnout of rank-and-file Democrats. However, all isn’t lost, as I expect a robust turnout from Democrats and Republicans all over the Lone Star State before the polls close tonight.

“HARRIS COUNTY.”

One of the key races I need voters to pay close attention to in “HARRIS COUNTY” is the race for Harris County District Attorney between Sean Teare and Kim Ogg. In this “DEMOCRATIC PARTY PRIMARY” race, Sean Teare is the best choice for Democrats.

“SMOKIE PHILLIPS.”

The race for Harris County Constable for Precinct 7, is also a race that I’m very concerned about, as James “Smokie” Phillips is seeking to fill the void being left by Constable May Walker, who is not running for reelection. In this “DEMOCRATIC PARTY PRIMARY” race, James “Smokie” Phillips is the best choice for Democrats.

“FORT BEND COUNTY.”

Over in Fort Bend County, Texas, Fred Taylor has stepped up to the plate to fill the huge void being left, as Cynthia Ginyard, decided to not seek reelection in the race for Fort Bend County Democratic Party Chair. In this “DEMOCRATIC PARTY PRIMARY” race, Fred Taylor is the best choice for Democrats.

“WALLER COUNTY.”

Constable Herschel Smith is running for reelection in Waller County, Texas in the “DEMOCRATIC PARTY PRIMARY” race for Precinct 3 Constable against one Democratic opponent. We need for Democrats to cast their vote for Constable Smith over his opponent.
