I expect 2024 to be one of the strongest years for women we've ever seen in Texas. No matter how you flip the coin, women like Judge Dawn Rogers, the presiding judge for the 334th Civil District Court in Harris County, Texas,  and Judge Jeralynn Manor, the presiding judge for the 80th Civil District Court in Harris County, Texas, have both proven themselves to be honorable, unbiased, and fair when it comes to administering justice inside their respective courtrooms.

Judge Dawn Rogers has already won her bid for reelection because she ran unchallenged back during the Tuesday, March 5, 2024, Democratic Party Primary. Believe it or not, the Harris County Republican Party showed Judge Dawn Rogers a great deal of respect by not even running an opponent against her in the upcoming Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Presidential Election.

As it relates to Judge Jeralynn Manor, as a testament to the awesome job she's done since winning the 80th Civil District Court bench, she also was allowed to win the "DEMOCRATIC PARTY NOMINATION" back on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, without being challenged. However, to retain her bench, she must defeat her Republican challenger on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in the Presidential Election.

What can I say about the honorable former judge Maria T. Jackson, and her accomplishments over the years? My prayer is that Judge Jackson would seek another judicial position. We need strong judges like the honorable Maria T. Jackson sitting on the local judicial benches in Harris County, Texas.

"COOK V. JOHNSON."

As we prepare to close out our "2024 WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH" celebration, let's not forget that Molly Cook will be facing off against State Rep. Jarvis Johnson in a few weeks for the first of two showdowns against Johnson to claim the Senate District 15 seat.

The early voting period for "ROUND ONE" of Molly Cook versus Jarvis Johnson will begin on Monday, April 22, 2024, and end on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, with "ELECTION DAY VOTING" taking place on Saturday, May 4, 2024. The showdown on Saturday, May 4, 2024, between Molly Cook, and Javis Johnson will determine who will fill out the remainder of former State Rep. John Whitmire's term.

On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Molly Cook and Jarvis Johnson will face off again in their Democratic Party Primary "RUNOFF ELECTION" showdown to determine who will earn the right to face off against a Republican, by the name of Joseph L. Trahan, in the race for State Senate 15, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in the upcoming Presidential Election.

"THIERRY IS A KEEPER."

State Rep. Shawn Thierry appears to be poised to win reelection on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, against her fiesty Democratic challenger, in the "RUNOFF ELECTION" for State Representative for House District 139, in Harris County, Texas. However, State Rep. Thierry will need "ALL DEMOCRATS" to stand up for her, like she's stood up for the children of House District 139, during the 88th Legislative Session.

In my opinion, State Rep. Shawn Thierry and the "OTHER STRONG WOMEN" highlighted in our "2024 WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH" should be commended and applauded for their willingness to serve as public servants.
