And in case you don't already know, early voting will begin on Monday, October 22, 2018, and end on Friday, November 2, 2018. At this time, the only opponent who has signed up to run against Mayor Allen Owen is Fred Taylor, the guy he (Mayor Allen Owen) beat the last time around. To bring you up to speed, back on Saturday, May 7, 2016, Mayor Allen Owen received 2,134 “EARLY VOTES” and Fred G. Taylor received 1,334 “EARLY VOTES”. And on “ELECTION DAY” a total of 925 voters went to the polls to cast their ballot for Mayor Allen Owen in Missouri City, Texas. Comparatively speaking, on “ELECTION DAY” a total of 755 voters went to the polls in Missouri City, Texas to cast their ballot for Fred G. Taylor. So, Mayor Owen emerged victorious in his last showdown with Fred G. Taylor by garnering a total of 3,059 overall votes. However, his feisty challenger managed to garner 2,089 overall votes to only lose to Mayor Allen Owen by a mere 970 votes.
