Ellis and Dolcefino Set to Appear on Two Dueling Facebook Broadcasts on April 23, 2020; Gerry Wayne Monroe Apologizes to 'Critical'

Gerry Wayne Monroe, the "5 Star General" apologizes to Jerold Evans (Critical), pictured far right for a recent Facebook post he made. Critical is Gerry Wayne Monroe's former co-host of a radio show on Street100 -- The Heat. Monroe calls Critical his friend and implores him to protect his brand. He also compels Critical via a Facebook Live broadcast to do what he has to do to fight for his community – the Greenspoint area of Houston, Texas. Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg is pictured between Gerry Wayne Monroe and Critical. In case you don't know, Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg, the Democratic nominee will face off against Mary Nan Huffman, the Republican nominee on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in the general election.

Commissioner Rodney Ellis and Award-Winning Investigative Reporter Wayne Dolcefino Will Appear on Two Dueling Facebook Broadcasts on Thursday, April 23, 2020

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I recently spoke to Gerry Wayne Monroe, the “5 Star General” about his recent breakup with his former co-hosts of “THE WAR ZONE,” Dr. Candice Matthews, and Elevonte Patton, who now refers to himself as “General Patton,” on their new show that’s titled, AS THEY SEE ME – “Speaking Truth To Power.” Both shows are broadcast at 7:00 PM nightly via Facebook. However, on this coming Thursday, April 23, 2020, AS THEY SEE ME – “Speaking Truth to Power,” will feature Commissioner Rodney Ellis at 7:00 P.M. on Facebook. And immediately following, at 8:00 PM, Wayne Dolcefino, will make a special guest appearance on “THE WAR ZONE,” hosted by Gerry Wayne Monroe, the “5 Star General,” and his lovely co-host, Demetra Kaye. “The battle lines have been crossed,” said the “5 Star General.” What is he talking about? Well, the “5 Star General” is hot, really hot. He’s livid, the “5 Star General” is throwing f-bombs around like a parade participant would throw out candy while marching in the Thanksgiving Day Parade! “The same people they were crucifying a few weeks ago, they’re now praising,” explained the “5 Star General.” Who is he talking about? Stop playing…you know exactly who he’s talking about – COMMISSIONER RODNEY ELLIS – that’s who! What is he talking about? Well, that’s something that I might have to catch you up to speed on – so stay with me. “What had happened was,” Well, see Dr. Candice Matthews… well, she… she had said. What she had said was…well…she was riding the hell out Commissioner Rodney Ellis. Remember that black art? Well, she had said. Man, she said that she had heard. Ok, I’m back. Remember all of that “PRICELESS AFRICAN ART” that was being housed in what was categorized as a maintenance shed? Yep, that shed. The shed that's owned by Harris County, and sits inside the boundaries of Precinct One – Commissioner Rodney Ellis’ precinct? Come on…you remember! The “PRICELESS AFRICAN ART” that they still can’t find the paperwork for – stop playing! “This woman, Candice Matthews came on to our show dragging Ellis through the mud man,” explains the “5 Star General.” According to him, Dr. Candice Matthews is the one who claimed to have information that Commissioner Rodney Ellis was smuggling diamonds in the artwork,” he says. Yep, that claim was made right on Facebook -- I heard it myself. “I bet she’s not going to asking Ellis about that when he’s on their show,” proclaims the “5 Star General.” Look to Dr. Matthews’ credit, she did put “ALLEGEDLY” in front of her statement about diamonds being hidden inside some of that artwork. However, inquiring minds would still like to know whether she’s going to ask Commissioner Rodney Ellis about that, “PRICELESS AFRICAN ART,” and how it found itself to be inside of a Harris County owned shed. She might also want to ask why, according to published reports, tax-payer dollars were used to store the art.

THE 'PRICELESS' AFRICAN ART HAS NO PAPER TRAIL

Commissioner Ellis is really smart. But just how smart is he? Well, that depends on who you ask. And he’s surrounded himself with some really smart people too. Right? How smart are they? Well, apparently not too smart if you ask me. Why? Well, back when Commissioner Rodney Ellis’ spokesperson, Maureen Haver was initially asked by KPRC 2 about the “PRICELESS AFRICAN ART,” she said, “We currently are warehousing an African art collection that we have an agreement with that was approved by Commissioners Court, a couple of years ago,” according to published reports. As it turns out, that was only partially true. The agreement she was alluding to was related to 14 pieces of African Art in county buildingsnot the hundreds of pieces found in the county shed – with no paperwork. Remember former Harris County Judge Ed Emmett? Well, he’s currently working as a KPRC 2 political analyst, among other things. According to him, the aforementioned agreement was signed back in 2018. But according to Emmett, the agreement did not reflect what was going on inside the shed. Emmett was also quoted in the report as saying, "A lot of money got spent on a building, clearly to make it so that it could be used to store this art collection." And he went on to say, "The art collection doesn't belong to the county. The art collection wasn't even on loan to the county," explained Emmett. Also, don’t forget that Ellis’ staff did not provide receipts detailing how much money was spent to create the storage space, according to what I read in the KPRC 2 report.

Does the Whole Fiasco Around this 'Priceless' Artwork Make Any Sense to You?

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I am so excited, I can hardly wait to watch AS THEY SEE ME – “Speaking Truth To Power,” on Thursday, April 23, 2020. However, I am going to be very disappointed if Dr. Candice Matthews, or Elvonte Patton “General Patton” does not ask Commissioner Rodney Ellis this question, “Does it make sense to use tax-payer dollars to store artwork that doesn’t even belong to Harris County?” And if his answer is yes, they should compel Commissioner Rodney Ellis to clearly explain to the citizens of Harris County, Texas why it’s okay to use their tax dollars in that manner.

Former Constable Ken Jones is heading into the Tuesday, July 14, 2020, runoff election in the race for Harris County Constable Precinct 3 as the "RUNNER-UP" against Constable Sherman Eagleton. In case you don't know, Ken Jones received 3,391 votes back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Democratic Primary, according to the "Unofficial" election returns published by the Harris County Clerk. However, in a recent turn of events, Eric Reed, Deborah Florus, and Michel (Poppy) Pappillion have all decided to throw their support behind Ken Jones. This could make the runoff showdown between Constable Sherman Eagleton and former Precinct 3 Constable Ken Jones one of the most intriguing races on the entire May 26th Democratic runoff ballot. Why? Well, at first glance it would appear that Constable Sherman Eagleton is the clear, and decisive "FRONT-RUNNER" heading into the runoff showdown. However, when you take into account that Eric Reed received 1,810 votes for 8.58% of the vote; Deborah Florus received 3,279 votes for 15.54% of the vote; Michael (Poppy) Pappillion received 913 votes for 4.33% of the vote, and Ken Jones himself received 3,391 votes for 16.07% of the vote, it isn't difficult to see that the "RUNOFF SHOWDOWN" between Constable Eagleton and Ken Jones won't be as lopsided as their Democratic Primary was back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Another key factor to pay close attention to is the fact that only 23,896 votes were cast back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the race for Harris County Constable for Precinct 3. Why is this significant? Well, according to the Harris County Clerk's Office, there are 197,063 registered voters in Precinct 3 who could potentially turn out on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. So both Constable Sherman Eagleton (the current Constable for Precinct 3) and Ken Jones (the former Constable for Precinct 3) will both have their work cut out for them between now and the start of the "EARLY VOTING PERIOD" which begins on Monday, July 6, 2020, and ends on Friday, July 10, 2020, in Harris County, Texas.

Randal Newman is heading into the Tuesday, July 14, 2020, runoff election in the race for Harris County Constable Precinct 5 as the "FRONT-RUNNER" against Mark Alan Harrison. Mark Alan Harrison is heading into the Tuesday, July 14, 2020, runoff election in the race for Harris County Constable Precinct 5 as the "RUNNER-UP" against Randal Newman. In case you don't know, Mark Alan Harrison received 18,560 votes back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Democratic Primary, according to the "Unofficial" election returns published by the Harris County Clerk.
