Ellis Tried to Use a Black Woman, Janaeya Carmouche to Unseat Councilman Kubosh Back in the 2019 General Election

“This is a perfect example of how a Black female was used to try and unseat a white male. Do you think that it was simply a coincidence that Janaeya Carmouche (right), a Black woman tried to unseat Houston City Councilman Michael Kubosh (left), back in the 2019 General Election that was held back on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, in Houston, Texas? Listen up!!! Every white person who will be running for re-election (or office) in Harris County and the surrounding area in 2022 had better wake up and understand that Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis is not their friend. As a matter of fact, every white person who plans to run for office in the state of Texas in 2022 had better be paying close attention to what I’m about to say. Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis is on a mission to replace you with Black and Latino people. And he has a pretty good track-record of getting his way in this regard. While his efforts to unseat Councilman Michael Kubosh with a Black female, by the name of Janaeya Carmouche fell short back in 2019, his efforts to do so in the 2018 Midterms, and the 2020 Midterms yielded him, his puppets, and (TOP) Texas Organizing Project much better results. So, once again, we can ill-afford to just sit back and allow Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis to claim anymore elected positions by running Black and Latino candidates against white candidates as part of his “BLACK/LATINO SUPREMACY AGENDA” that’s aimed at pushing the state of Texas toward a progressive future by shifting power out of the hands of whites and into the hands of Black people and Latino people. Now, there’s nothing wrong with creating a more diverse leadership body in Texas politics; but doing it by pushing an agenda that's solely based on the color of a person’s skin, and not the content of their character and qualifications is flat out wrong, and has no place in politics.”

Janaeya Carmouche's single largest contributor back in 2019, was Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis. In case you don't know, Commissioner Ellis, according to his campaign finance report donated the sum of $5,000.00 dollars to Janaeya Carmouche to help her unseat Councilman Michael Kubosh, the At-Large Position #3 City Council Member.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

For all of you who don’t know, Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis was the key person supporting Janaeya Carmouche in her bid to try and unseat Michael Kubosh, the At-Large Position #3 Houston City Councilman back on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. And nope I’m not making this up. Ellis was by far, the largest contributor to Carmouche’s campaign effort to unseat Councilman Kubosh. And he used his influence to have many of his friends to support Janayea Carmouche as well. How do I know? Well, according to his campaign finance report, back on September 30, 2019, Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis gave Janaeya Carmouche $5,000.00 dollars out of his campaign funds to assist her in her effort to unseat Councilman Michael Kubosh. And he wasn’t alone. A lot of times the money that’s donated to candidates can help you to better understand who will have the greatest influence over a candidate once they take office. And in the case of Janeaya Carmouche, the person who would have been behind the curtain pulling her strings, would have been none other than Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis if their plan to unseat Councilman Kubosh would have worked. But thank God their plan to replace Councilman Michael Kubosh with a Black female did not work; but Kubosh was forced to a runoff that he eventually won in convincing fashion on December 14, 2019, in the runoff election. As a refresher, Councilman Michael Kubosh received an astonishing, 103,969 votes for 61.30% of the votes to beat back the Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis funded candidate – Janeaya Carmouche, who only received 65,634 votes, for 38.70% of the vote.

COMMISSIONER ELLIS’ PLAN

As I’ve said many times before, Harris County CommissionerRodney Ellis is the key supporter behind the effort to take power away from white people and give it to Black and Latino people in the state of Texas. Once again, I believe his efforts have been very successful so far in Harris County, Texas over the last few election cycles – but it must be stopped!!! How can it be stopped? Well, good people must first wake up, take their heads out of the sand and understand that Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, believe it or not, is evil. And the plan that he and (TOP) Texas Organizing Project havelaunched is evil and has no place in American politics. Their plan is un-American guys!!! No way! No how! Should good people simply sit back and allow this plan to move beyond Harris County, Texas. What am I talking about? Look, it’s all spelled out right on (TOP) Texas Organizing Project’s website inthe opening paragraph when they say, “Texas is a battleground state, and Texas Organizing Project (TOP) PAC’s aim in 2020 is to further push the state toward a progressive future that will deliver substantive change and shift more power into the hands of Black and Latino Texans.”

The Texas Organizing Project PAC and Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis’ Plan for Texas

Texas is a battleground state, and Texas Organizing Project(TOP) PAC’s aim in 2020 is to further push the state toward a progressive future that will deliver substantive change and shift more power into the hands of Black and Latino Texans.

The 2020 elections are critical opportunities to engage Texas’s rising electorate in voting, to elect progressive champions for our issues, and to build a base of leaders ready for co-governance and accountability post-election.

TOP PAC has a long history of running some of the largest grassroots get-out-the-vote field operations in the state, working over 10 election cycles. We have built relationships with Texas voters of color year-round through on-the-ground issue organizing, engaging people on the issues that matter most to them, and linking those issues to voting when election time comes around. It’s not just about presidential elections – we talk to voters in municipal, school district, special elections, county, and state races, too. We build relationships and trust in order to also build a culture of voting.

In 2018, we ran our largest program to date, reaching out tomore than 900,000 voters in four counties (Harris, Dallas, Bexar, and Fort Bend) and turning out 465,405 voters, of which 270,474 were new midterm voters.

We have a proven formula for winning. By organizing year-round and constructing electoral programs tied to issues that matter to voters typically left out of politics, such as access to healthcare, affordable housing, quality public education, justice reform, and immigrants’ rights, we are growing roots in communities of color and replacing the transactional tactics of traditional politics. And in doing so, we are building an electorate that reflects the changing face of the state and these newly engaged voters are delivering tangible change for Texans.

"Good people cannot just sit back and allow people like Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis to push their evil agenda across the state of Texas. It's flat out wrong for anyone, in this day and age to be allowed to push a race of people out of position in favor of putting another race of people in place solely based upon the color of their skin. This practice is what I consider to be reverse discrimination, and has no place in politics."

The “Sisterhood Series” Features 70 Powerful Texas Women You Should Know Who Are Doing Their Own Thing

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I would like to take this moment to introduce our “SISTERHOOD SERIES” to you. This empowerment movement is being launched to highlight a few powerful Texas women who are doing their own thing in legal, political, and public relations fields throughout the Lone Star State. Now, while this powerful group of women is being brought to you as a corporate body, our “SISTERHOOD SERIES” should not be misconstrued as identity/gender politics in any way, shape, or form. Why? Well, all of the featured women in this series are (in their own unique way) some of the best and brightest women in America. So, recognizing these women as part of our SISTERHOOD SERIES” is our way of applauding each of them for their courage, tenacity, and ability to compete in what has traditionally been a man’s world.

TRUTH OF THE MATTER

If we’re honest with ourselves, we all know that women are still fighting an uphill battle in politics as well as inside boardrooms across America. So, let's not forget – it wasn’t long ago that women were guaranteed the right to vote. In case you don’t know, the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote was only the beginning of a much longer fight that women are continuing to fight on the campaign trail, in board rooms, and while living their everyday lives.

A VERY UNIQUE BOND

Each segment of our “SISTERHOOD SERIES” will highlight a “FEATURED SPONSOR” on the cover, and sixty-nine sitting incumbent Democratic and Republican members of the judiciary inside. So, as a community of women, each of the sixty-nine women featured as the “BODY OF THE SERIES” are linked together by their common successes in the rough and tumble world of Texas politics. Now, you can bet your bottom dollar, that some of these women will be endorsed by Houston Business Connections Newspaper©, in 2022 and 2024 “ELECTION GUIDES” when they appear on the ballot. However, unfortunately, some of these women will not make the cut. So, please do not forget that the deadline to run for political office in the “2022 MIDTERM ELECTIONS” is on Monday, December 13, 2021, in Texas. And, if you are a woman or man who is planning to run for office in 2022, you must sign up by Monday, December 13, 2021, at 6:00 pm. So, if you are not sure, what position you should run for in the Democratic Party Primary or Republican Party Primary, please call (281)788-3033, and I will try to assist you in any way I can.

MINISTERS OF JUSTICE

Every judge in America takes an oath of office and solemnly swears that they will administer justice without respect to persons and that they will do equal right to the poor and to the rich alike. So, the “MINISTERS OF JUSTICE” you see listed below, have all promised to faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon them under the United States Constitution and the laws that govern us as a free nation when they were elected. And each of them did so before the LORD God Almighty. Now, that being said, nowhere in their promise was their political party affiliation, sorority, socio-economic status, or ethnicity mentioned. So, let’s do our best going forward, to elect the “BEST AND BRIGHTEST” women and men who are committed to handing out even-handed justice to every person who enters their courtroom.

Nominating the Wrong Candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" Could Have Disastrous Consequences in the November 2022 General Election in Harris County

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in 2022, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.

THINKING ABOUT RUNNING?

If you are a candidate planning to run for office in 2022, you have to select the right candidate to run against. And the second most important thing to understand is that you have to select your race early, to avoid ending up in a crowded field of candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" in Harris County, Texas. So, if you need assistance trying to determine which race to enter, please call (281)788-3033, and I will do my very best to answer any questions you may have.
