Ellis Has His People Strategically Positioned in Powerful Judicial and Municipal Positions All Across Harris County, Texas and Beyond

Commissioner Rodney Ellis (far left) is the reason Genesis E. Draper is a judge today! However, Judge Genesis E. Draper (second from left) got the fewest number of votes of any local judicial candidate running countywide back on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in Harris County, Texas. Yes, the 814,811 total votes received by Judge Genesis Draper were the fewest received by any of the local countywide Democratic judicial candidates. And in case you don’t already know, Judge Genesis Draper will be right back on the ballot in the 2022 Midterm Election -- and she's vulnerable. So, please don’t forget that, the deadline to sign up for a place on the 2022 Midterm Election ballot is Monday, December 13, 2021 at 6:00 PM for Democrats and Republicans. If you’re a former judge or local attorney, you should look for the weakest candidates first! The early voting period for the 2022 Midterm Election will begin on Monday, February 14, 2022, and end on Friday, February 25, 2022. And the 2022 Democratic and Republican primaries will take place on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, in Harris County, Texas. Oh, and it's kind of funny how the case of "WHISTLEBLOWER" Damien Thaddeus Jones found it's way into Harris County Criminal Court at Law No. 12 -- Judge Genesis Drapers Court when there are (16) sixteen County Criminal Courts at Law in Harris County, Texas. Of the (16) sixteen misdemeanor court judges -- Judge Genesis Draper is the only one who was placed on the bench by Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis.

Judge Draper Was Placed on the Bench by Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis after the Untimely Death of Judge Hollemon

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Let me be clear here – Judge Genesis Draper was placed on the bench as judge of Harris County Criminal Court at Law No. 12 by Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, and Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia. However, she wasn’t Commissioner Ellis’ first choice to fill the voice left in the aftermath of Judge Cassandra Hollemon’s untimely death. Believe it or not, from the way I understand it, initially Commissioner Rodney Ellis and his cohorts were going to fill the vacancy with a Hispanic judge. Why didn’t they do it? Well, from the way that I understand it, the plan to fill the vacancy left by the untimely death of Judge Cassandra Hollemon (a Black woman) with a Hispanic female didn’t go over well with the sitting African American female judges who ran their races along with the late Judge Cassandra Hollemon as part of the “BLACK GIRL MAGIC” campaign. So, in essence, Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, and Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia settled on Judge Genesis Draper. Thus far, I think Judge Genesis Draper has done a respectable job serving as a judge. However, the stakes are very high for the misdemeanor cases involving “WHISTLEBLOWER” Damien Thaddeus Jones that has somehow found their way into the one misdemeanor courtroom where the judge was appointed by Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis and his cohorts. I say somehow because there are (16) sixteen misdemeanor county courts in Harris County, Texas – but somehow after not being able to get “WHISTLEBLOWER” Damien Thaddeus Jones on felony charges in Judge Amy Martin’s 263rd Criminal District Court – the cases found their way in Judge Genesis Draper’s court. Can you believe this? Doesn’t this sound a little too coincidental? Do you think that Damien is going to get a fair trial in Harris County Criminal Court at Law No. 12? I mean really?

AUDIO RECORDING

In the audio recording above, “WHISTLBLOWER” Damien Thaddeus Jones talks about how he rejected an offer extended to him by Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis – who is essentially Judge Genesis Draper’s boss. Toward the middle of the audio recording you will hear “WHISTLBLOWER” Damien Thaddeus Jones talk about Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis’ farm system and how Ellis approached him after Damien’s success while working on former Congressman Beto O’Rourke’ failed United States Senate campaign – against U.S. Senator Ted Cruz. So, as you listen to the audio recording please pay very close attention to the part where “WHISTLEBLOWER” Damien Thaddeus Jones talks about how once a person get’s under his thumb they’re always under his thumb.

Judge Genesis Draper will be right back on the ballot in the 2022 Midterm Election.

ELLIS IS HER BOSS

Believe it or not, Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, the guy “WHISTLEBLOWER” Damien Jones was talking about in the audio recording above, is in a technical sense the guy who is directly responsible for placing Judge Genesis Draper on the bench back in 2019. A few other functions he and his cohorts on commissioner’s court are responsible for includes, but is not limited to, serving as the main governing body for all of Harris County, Texas. In case you don’t know the commissioner’s court, according to published reports is also responsible for adopting its budget, setting tax rates, calling for bond elections, building and maintaining roads and bridges, setting boundaries for voting precincts, and overseeing public libraries and parks – and like I said, overseeing county courthouses too.

THE BRAINS

I’m the President/CEO of Aubrey R. Taylor Communications, the publisher of Houston Business Connections Newspaper©. In case you don’t know, I have 30-years of experience in marketing, branding, investigative reporting, public relations, opposition research, and political consulting. I’ve assisted in branding Republican and Democratic candidates in statewide elections and local municipalities throughout the State of Texas. Over the years, I’ve also assisted in branding and marketing (through my various publications) such corporations and institutions as Shell Oil, The City of Houston, Texas A&M University, Texas Southern University, Prairie View A&M University, Chevron, Waste Management, Nationwide Insurance, Momentum Jaguar/BMW, Channel 11, Channel 13, State Farm Insurance, and Allstate Insurance to name a few.

EXPERIENCED REPORTER

I would have you to know that not everyone who has been accused of a crime or enters a guilty plea in connection with a crime is guilty of the crime they're accused of committing. Neither is everyone who goes to trial to fight charges that are leveled against them and get's convicted are guilty. Look, over the years, some very bad things have happened to people of color in our criminal justice system. So to this end, please understand, that during my career, I’ve gone into the Harris County Jail and Texas prisons on numerous occasions (on secret assignments) working in conjunction with the owner of one of the largest locally owned private security, and investigations firms. The man who was funding my investigations back then (who mysteriously died) also was the godfather of one of my sons, and the backer of one of my publications. That being said, I can straight-faced assure you that I’ve seen some of the injustices that are occurring in the Texas penal system up close and personal. While on the inside, I interviewed (face-to-face) some of the hardest criminals you can imagine for my research. I also discovered first-hand that many of the people who should be locked up are walking around free, and not all of those who are locked behind bars are guilty of the crimes that they, in some cases pleaded guilty to – for whatever reason. So, let me assure you that I know a criminal when I see one. And we have a handful of local elected officials who are straight-criminals and must be stopped!!!

PEOPLE OVER POLITICS

Based on my direct observations over the years, I can attest to the fact that our current criminal justice system is more about “HAVE’S AND HAVE NOT’S” to a greater degree than most people realize.  That being said, sure, in some cases, the skin color of the person being accused of a crime plays a role in who gets indicted and eventually convicted of crimes and those who go free. However, at the end of the day, from observing the system from the inside, and out; having money, good legal representation and access to influential people are unfortunately key determining factors when it comes to who will spend the rest of their life walking around with an “X” on their back and who doesn’t. So, to this end, we must endeavor to change our criminal justice system and political landscape by “TAKING POLITICS OUT” of the way our judges are selected in the Lone Star State – that’s very important to me! Have you ever taken a moment to look at all of the people who have been wrongfully convicted of crimes?
