We are all fully aware that former “Democrat” Judge Alexandra Smoots Thomas (164th Civil District Court) was booted from the bench for embezzling funds she received during her reelection campaigns. When she admitted her guilt, she pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud, admitting she embezzled money from her campaign.
According to the same U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas (Ryan Patrick), Judge Alexandra Smoots Thomas would repeatedly solicit contributions on the premise that the money would be used to help facilitate her reelection campaigns. However, Judge Smoots-Thomas would use the campaign funds for non-campaign expenses, which included paying her monthly home mortgage payments, private school tuition payments, and purchasing luxury items.
She, Judge Alexandra Smoots Thomas, concealed her fraudulent activities from her campaign treasurer at the time, as well as the Texas Ethics Commission, by filing false campaign finance reports.
“THE MONEY MAN.”
In case you don’t know, Gerald Womack is one of the sleaziest, dirtiest, slimiest people you would ever want to meet. And on top of that, he doesn’t care about anything but trying to make a dollar.
But how has Gerald Womack become so intertwined and influential in local Harris County, Texas, politics? Well, he throws around a little cash every now and again. And giving to local politicians (especially local judges) can be good for business. Take former Judge Alexandra Smooths Thomas for instance, she and Womack Development had a very cozy relationship, when it came to handing out receiverships to this “SLIME-BALL” who calls himself a businessman.
Remember, the Crestmont Village Apartments, which were located in South Acres? Remember when Centerpoint Energy turned off the power to the dilapidated complex for 15 days, and the poor ‘Black and Brown’ tenants had thought they were living in an all-bills-paid complex?
Do you recall the judge who condemned the property, approved its demolition, and subsequently turned it over to Gerald Womack and Womack Development, despite the city of Houston having invested over $605,000 in the dilapidated complex?
Sure, the Crestmont Village Apartments were in terrible shape. Yes, the city of Houston tried to work with the owners before Judge Alexandra Smoots-Thomas eventually had to sign off on a permanent injunction in her 164th Civil District Court, but what a coincidence.
On the same day, Thursday, October 8, 2015, Gerald Womack made a $2,500.00 donation to Judge Alexandra Smoots-Thomas’s campaign. Look at what was happening inside the 164th Civil District Court between Womack and Judge Alexandra Smoots-Thomas regarding Gerald Womack and his company, Womack Development, regarding the Crestmont Village Apartments.
On the same day that, Thursday, October 8, 2015, Gerald Womack donated $2,500.00 to Judge Alexandra Smoots-Thomas, the Houston Chronicle wrote a story entitled, “Judge orders substandard apartments vacated by Oct. 30.” What a coincidence. The initial story was published on October 8, 2015, and then updated on the very day that Womack made his $2,500.00 donation to her campaign.
So, even though many of the ‘Black and Brown’ residents didn’t have anywhere to go, Judge Alexandra Smoots-Thomas ordered them out by October 30, 2015. Again, she received a political donation for $2,500.00 from Gerald Womack, the owner of Womack Development, on the same day; all of this activity is taking place at the Crestmont Village Apartments.
“SECTION 36.02 PENAL CODE.”
Sec. 36.02. BRIBERY. (a) A person commits an offense if he intentionally or knowingly offers, confers, or agrees to confer on another, or solicits, accepts, or agrees to accept from another:
(1) any benefit as consideration for the recipient’s decision, opinion, recommendation, vote, or other exercise of discretion as a public servant, party official, or voter;
(2) any benefit as consideration for the recipient’s decision, vote, recommendation, or other exercise of official discretion in a judicial or administrative proceeding;
(3) any benefit as consideration for a violation of a 1 duty imposed by law on a public servant or party official; or
(4) any benefit that is a political contribution as defined by Title 15, Election Code, or that is an expenditure made and reported in accordance with Chapter 305, Government Code, if the benefit was offered, conferred, solicited, accepted, or agreed to pursuant to an express agreement to take or withhold a specific exercise of official discretion if such exercise of official discretion would not have been taken or withheld but for the benefit; notwithstanding any rule of evidence or jury instruction allowing factual inferences in the absence of certain evidence, direct evidence of the express agreement shall be required in any prosecution under this subdivision.
(b) It is no defense to prosecution under this section that a person whom the actor sought to influence was not qualified to act in the desired way whether because he had not yet assumed office or he lacked jurisdiction or for any other reason.
(c) It is no defense to prosecution under this section that the benefit is not offered or conferred or that the benefit is not solicited or accepted until after:
(1) the decision, opinion, recommendation, vote, or other exercise of discretion has occurred; or
(2) the public servant ceases to be a public servant.
(d) It is an exception to the application of Subdivisions (1), (2), and (3) of Subsection (a) that the benefit is a political contribution as defined by Title 15, Election Code, or an expenditure made and reported in accordance with Chapter 305, Government Code.
(e) An offense under this section is a felony of the second degree.

There was a time when Dallas Jones was a “ROCK STAR” in local political circles, but not anymore. Before he was picked up from his home on Saturday, October 17, 2020, Dallas Jones was the “GO-TO-MAN” and bragged about his political victories openly on his website, but not anymore. Why not?
Why did Dallas Jones erase the names of all of the politicians he helped get elected to public office at the City and County Government level? Well, because everyone Dallas Jones worked with may have gotten an unfair advantage over their opponents.
In other words, Dallas Jones, the Democratic political consultant, did not play fair. And with the help of his “MAIN BALLOT HARVESTER,” Evelyn Dupree, the two were a force to be reckoned with, and they wreaked havoc on candidates running against their clients in local elections.
But what’s the truth, and where does it lie, related to Dallas Jones and Evelyn Dupree?
First off, Dallas is as dirty as they come, and Evelyn has been allegedly harvesting mail ballots for so long that she’s not going to stop, unless she goes to jail.
“MARLER'S AFFIDAVIT.”
“I formerly worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where I was an Investigative Specialist conducting undercover operations on espionage and terrorist targets. I am now a private investigator,” state Charles “Chuck” Marler, in an “AFFIDAVIT” he signed in a case that was before the Texas Supreme Court on Sunday, September 27, 2020, under penalty of perjury.
According to Marler, “In December of 2019, I was approached by two individuals who witnessed activity from an illegal ballot harvesting operation in Harris County, Texas.”
“Since that date, I have been investigating the illegal ballot harvesting operation,” he stated.
He explained, “During my investigation, a core group of names continued to surface regarding the organization and operation of the voter fraud scheme.”
“Witnesses have stated to me that Precinct 1 Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis and District 13 Texas State Senator Borris Miles are leading the illegal ballot harvesting operation in Harris County, Texas,” proclaimed Marler.
Marler continued, “Their chief lieutenants are Houston businessman Gerald Womack and political consultant Dallas Jones, who worked directly under them in executing the ballot harvesting operation in Harris County, Texas.”
“Witnesses have shown me and described to me how the ballot harvesters take absentee ballots from the elderly in nursing homes, from the homeless, and unsuspecting residents’ mailboxes,” he explained.
In vivid detail, Marler laid out the process. “The ballot harvester then completed the ballots for the preferred candidate and forged the signature of the “voter.” Two witnesses informed me that two individuals employed at the Harris County Clerk’s Office were aware of the illegal ballots. They helped facilitate and mask the processing of the ballots into the legal stream of ballots.”
“I have been made aware of a law enforcement investigation in the spring of 2020 regarding illegal ballot harvesting. Several interviews of individuals were conducted,” he says.
According to Marler’s account, “After the interviews became public, former Harris County Clerk Diane Trautman resigned, alleging health concerns due to COVID-19. However, witnesses have told me Ms. Trautman was arguing with Commissioner Rodney Ellis about the legality of the mass purchasing and mailing of mail-in ballots. That Trautman was concerned she would be included in the eventual arrests on illegal ballot harvesting.”
“Instead of coming forward and exposing the scheme, Ms. Trautman abruptly resigned.”
He further explained, “Witnesses have stated that Commissioner Ellis was not deterred and continued to move forward with the plan to mass mail ballots and expand the illegal ballot harvesting scam.”
“Another witness stated to me that an employee of Commissioner Rodney Ellis, Tyler James, has bragged that he could guarantee that the illegal ballot harvesting operation, with the help of mass mail-in ballots, could harvest 700,000 illegal ballots.”
If you believe former FBI Investigative Specialist Charles “Chuck” Marler’s “AFFIDAVIT,” there’s a clear problem in Harris County, Texas, and African American “ELECTED OFFICIALS” are at the center of the problem.

Over my 34 years in the media industry in Harris County, Texas, I have closely observed how Dallas Jones, the owner of Elite Change, Inc., has wreaked havoc on local elections, with his alleged ballot harvesters. To this end, what Governor Greg Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton are doing to bust up the “BALLOT HARVESTING RING,” will ultimately usher in a “NEW GUARD” of African American leaders, which could replace the corrupt “OLD GUARD,” of corrupt career politicians who have ruled the 18th Congressional District of Texas with an iron fist for decades.
