Official HISD Runoff Slate for the Saturday, December 11, 2021, HISD School Board Runoff Election Published by HBC Newspaper

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Under absolutely no circumstances should any American who values and respect the Black community be casting their ballot for the four 'alleged' racist HISD Board Trustees who you see with an "X" above their picture. HISD Trustee Elizabeth Santos (District I), must be voted out of office on Saturday, December 11, 2021, and replaced with Janette Garza Lindner. HISD Trustee Sue Deigaard (District V), must be voted out of office and replaced with Caroline Walter. HISD Trustee Holly Maria Vilaseca (District VI), must be voted out of office and replaced with Dr. Kendall Baker. and HISD Anne Sung (District VII), must be voted out of office and replaced with Bridget Wade. Now, that being said, please don't forget that the upcoming "HISD RUNOFF ELECTION" to decide the will take place on Saturday, December 11, 2021. But the early voting period will begin on Monday, November 29, 2021, and end on Tuesday, December 7, 2021."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Every warm-blooded American residing inside of HISD District I, HISD District V, HISD District VI, and HISD District VII, strongly encouraged to cast your vote for Janette Garza Lindner in the runoff race for HISD District I, Caroline Walter in the runoff race for District V, Dr. Kendall Baker in the runoff race for District VI, and Bridget Wade in the runoff race for District VII, on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Now, that being said, I can't find any logical reason why any Democratic voter, Republican voter, Independent voter, Libertarian voter, or Green Party voter would want to cast their ballot for any of the four incumbent HISD Trustees who are in the fight of their political lives right now."

We Must Make it Our Business to Nominate the Right Democratic and Republican Candidates in the Upcoming 2022 Primary Elections

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in 2022, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.

ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RUNNING FOR PUBLIC OFFICE IN THE UPCOMING 2022 MIDTERM ELECTIONS IN TEXAS?

If you are a candidate planning to run for office in 2022, you have to select the right candidate to run against. And the second most important thing to understand is that you have to select your race early, to avoid ending up in a crowded field of candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" in Harris County, Texas. So, if you need assistance trying to determine which race to enter, please call (281)788-3033, and I will do my very best to answer any questions you may have.

It's Becoming Tougher to Distinguish True Black Leaders from Spineless Puppets Who Are Selling Out the Black Community

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: “Make no mistake about it, Jolanda "Jo" Jones is one of the most courageous leaders we have in the Black community right now. So, just for the record, I’ve always loved and admired Jolanda’s strength, courage, tenacity, and willingness to stand up for our people! Even though Jolanda 'Jo" Jones isn’t serving us from the position of an “ELECTED OFFICIAL” right now, she’s still perhaps one of the strongest voices we have in America. That being said, haven’t you notice the fact that Jolanda “Jo” Jones, a former HISD Trustee, and Houston City Council Member is currently, the only high-profile Black leader who has the courage and intestinal fortitude to implore our community not to vote for the four ‘alleged’ racist HISD School Board Trustees who will be on the Saturday, December 11, 2021, Runoff Election ballot? Why is this? Why are other Black leaders shrinking back in fear, and acting as if the cat has their tongue right now? Why are our so-called Black leaders sitting by, and about to allow our people to get tricked at the ballot box once again? You go girl. Thanks Jolanda!!!”

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "If you ask me, Black communities all across America are devoid of courageous leadership right now. How can I say this? Well, just look at what's going down in these Houston School Board races right now. It makes absolutely no sense at all that Jolanda "Jo" Jones is being left to carry the message that Black voters should not vote for the four 'alleged' racist HISD Trustees all by herself. In my opinion, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., hit the nail on the head when he said, "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent on things that matter."

JOLANDA "JO" JONES: “…Black people do NOT vote 4 Elizabeth SANTOS, Anne SUNG, Sue DIEGAARD, & Holly Vilaseca in the runoff election.”

Black Leaders Must Not Allow Our Community to Get Tricked Into Voting for Santos, Diegaard, Vilaseca, or Sung on December 11th

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

The silence of so-called Black leaders and “ELECTED OFFICIALS” is becoming more and more deafening with the passing of every single day. Where are our leaders? Where are the people who are supposed to be fighting for our best interests? Where are the people who we are supposed to be our voices? Why is Jolanda Jones the only Black leader who has the courage to speak up for us? How have we ended up with so many spineless Black elected leaders in positions of authority?

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11TH

On Saturday, December 11, 2021, the Black community, and everyone else who claims to care about our community, children, and well-being will have a decision to make. What’s the decision? Well, I’m glad you asked! You see, the four HISD School Board Trustees who have now found themselves between a rock and a hard spot, haven’t done anything whatsoever for Black students – absolutely nothing. And on top of that, these four ‘alleged’ racist trustees have worked to undermine efforts of sitting Black members of the HISD School Board. And they’ve failed every test, when it comes to supporting the Black community. But don’t take my word for it!!! Former HISD Trustee Jolanda “Jo” Jones said it best when she stated, “…Black people do NOT vote 4 Elizabeth SANTOS, Anne SUNG, Sue DIEGAARD, & Holly Vilaseca in the runoff election,” on her Facebook page last week. And she’s absolutely right!

BLACKS SHOULD STAND DOWN

Your vote is your voice! Your vote is the strongest weapon you have if it’s used wisely. That said, under no circumstances should Black folks or anyone else who cares anything about us be waltzing into any voting booth on Saturday, December 11, 2021, and voting for anyone who is unwilling to work in the best interests of our community. And according to Jolanda “Jo” Jones, these four HISD Trustees, (Santos, Diegaard, Vilaseca, and Sung) do not vote for Black people. How does she know? Well, according to Jolanda, she knows because she served on the HISD School Board with these four women. “I know because I served with them, I spent MOST of my time trying two undermine their ANTI-BLACK agenda,” says Jolanda.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Do you remember when this went down earlier this year? Do you remember when Black leaders like Bishop James Dixon, (second from left) Dr. Carolyn Evans Shabazz (at podium), and Dr. Rhonda Skillern Jones (far right) were front and center at "THE COALITION PRESS CONFERENCE" that was held in support of Dr. Grenita Lathan earlier this year? Now, according to Dr. Carolyn Evans Shabazz, the racist vote that was put forward by some members of the HISD School board earlier this year may have triggered what was supposed to be some sort of serious repercussions for some local elected officials. My question is will Saturday, December 11, 2021, be payback time? Now, in case you don't remember, the 6-3 vote against elevating Dr. Grenita Lathan to permanent status broke right along racial lines with the lone three Black HISD candidates being the only ones who believed that Dr. Lathan was good enough for the job. The other HISD Board members appeared at the time to have formed some sort of coalition of sorts against Dr. Grenita Lathan." ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "The two strong Black women you see pictured above made a lot of bold comments about the four 'alleged' racist (Democratic) HISD Trustees who will be on the Saturday, December 11, 2021, HISD School Board Runoff Elections ballot. And the woman you see at podium (Houston City Councilwoman Dr. Carolyn Evans Shabazz) stated that the racist vote that was put forward by some members of the HISD School board earlier this year may have triggered what was supposed to be some sort of serious repercussions for some local elected officials. Well, where are the repercussions madam Council Member? When are the repercussions coming for HISD Trustee Elizabeth Santos, HISD Trustee Sue Diegaard, HISD Holly Maria Flynn Vilaseca, and HISD Trustee Anne Sung, that Dr. Carolyn Evans Shabazz talked about earlier this year?"

Santos, Diegaard, Vilaseca, and Sung Must Not Be Supported by the Harris County Democratic Party on Saturday, December 11, 2021

AUBREY R. TAYLOR©

It’s time for African Americans to become more intentional about our goals. And there’s no better time to start than on Saturday, December 11, 2021 in the , HISD School Board Runoff Elections by rejecting the four 'alleged' racist HISD School Board Trustees who have repeatedly voted against us as a community. Why? Well, the problems at (HISD) Houston Independent School District, (HCC) Houston Community College, and the systematic skipping of local down-ballot Black Democratic judicial candidates in Harris County, Texas could be the signs of a major clash between the Black and Hispanic communities. So, to be brutally honest, some of the things we are witnessing being done to African Americans are only being done because the people committing the acts against our people believe that they have the support of certain Black "ELECTED OFFICIALS" whom they believe matter more than the rest of us in the Black community. That’s the only logical reason I can find at this moment – someone or someone(s) somewhere are more than likely giving a green light to people like these four 'alleged' racist HISD Trustees to mistreat us. And this must STOP!!! So, on Saturday, December 11, 2021, we are being afforded with the perfect opportunity to show the world that racism will not be tolerated. And more importantly, we must show the world that we are bold enough as a people to confront racism wherever it's uncovered.

FORMER HISD TRUSTEE JOLANDA JONES: “It has always been about the Black against the Brown,” said Jolanda Jones, a former HISD Trustee whose leadership is sorely missed right now. She made this statement earlier this year at a protest that was held in front of the HISD Administration Building to call out racist influences that she and other leaders believed were playing out on the HISD School Board. And on Saturday, November 6, 2021, Attorney Jolanda Jones doubled-down by publishing a "#AsTheBoardTurns SPECIAL BLURB EDITION" that stated, "#BlackLivesMatter, especially in #HISD, there4 Black people do NOT vote 4 Elizabeth SANTOS, Anne SUNG, Sue DIEGAARD & Holly  VASECA in the runoff election. Why? 4 the MOST part, they did NOT & do NOT vote 4 Black people. I know because I served with them U spent MOST of my time trying 2 undermine their ANTI-BLACK agenda. Further, as I was reminded recently, they "actually voted AGAINST Black kids & interests & damned show didn't vote 4 Black kids..." ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

FORMER HISD BOARD PRESIDENT RHONDA SKILLERN JONES: “If I had been dehumanized and humiliated and disregarded and disrespected in the way that she (Dr. Grenita Lathan) has been over this entire tenure I would have walked away and taken some of the job offers I have personally seen her gotten over this time, but she cares enough about where she is and who she serves to stay even through that. That speaks to her character, said Rhonda Skillern-Jones, a former HISD Board President at the press conference held earlier this year. ***PUBLISHER'S NOTE FROM AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "The racist HISD School Board Trustees who totally disrespected Dr. Grenita Lathan, eventually forced her out. However, that wasn't the end of the story for Dr. Grenita Lathan. Today, she serves as the superintendent of Missouri's largest school district, which serves 24,000 students and employs about 3,500 individuals. Dr. Lathan began her tenure at Springfield Public Schools July 1, 2021." ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

DR. GRENITA LATHAN WAS VICTIMIZED BY THE FOUR HISD TRUSTEES WHO ARE IN THE SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11TH RUNOFF ELECTION

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "What are we going to do on Saturday, December 11, 2021, whereas HISD Trustee Elizabeth Santos, HISD Trustee Sue Diegaard, HISD Trustee Holly Maria Flynn Vilaseca, and HISD Trustee Ann Sung are concerned? “We will not allow her to be discriminated against because she is Black. We believe that if Dr. Lathan was Hispanic she would be the Superintendent today, said Bishop James Dixon representing the NAACP Houston Chapter at the “COALITION PRESS CONFERENCE” that was held to bring attention to what appeared to be racist actions that prohibited Dr. Grenita Lathan from being named the permanent superintendent, earlier this year. Now, in my opinion talk is cheap!!! We must band together and throw Santos, Diegaard, Vilaseca, and Sung out of office on Saturday, December 11, 2021. ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

BLACK LEADERS CAME TOGETHER EARLIER THIS YEAR AND FOUGHT BACK AGAINST THE FOUR RACIST HISD BOARD MEMBERS WHO ARE IN THE DECEMBER 11TH RUNOFF ELECTION

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "It made me very proud to see State Rep. Ron Reynolds (D-House District 27) and a host of other Black leaders stand up and fight back against what the racist HISD Board Members were doing to Dr. Grenita Lathan. A few of the other leaders (besides State Rep. Reynolds) who stood up for Dr. Grenita Lathan were as follows: Bishop James Dixon, II, U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, U.S. Rep. Alexander Green, Texas State Senator Borris L. Miles, State Rep. Harold Dutton, State Rep. Senfronia Thompson, Dr. Alma Allen, Dr. Max Miller, Pastor Harvey Clemmons, Bishop Johnny Tates, Pastor Carl Davis, Bishop Leroy Woodard, Dr. SJ Gilbert, II, and Activist Deric Muhammad, just to name a few. ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

BLACK COMMUNITY LEADER GEORGIA PROVOST: "We must read history, HISD has been racist since it was established in 1924. In 1960's Blacks were the majority so the blue eyes said hell no, so they reclassified Hispanics as Whites, so Whites could be the majority. They used Hispanics for their advantage. What was the reward for Hispanics? Now 93% of students enrolled in HISD are Blacks and Brown, now they are getting a watered down education. K-6-should be taught reading, writing, arithmetic and critical thinking - 7&8- STEAM- Science, Technology, Engineering Art, Mathematics and Critical thinking. Need qualified teachers to teach the above, with a host of wraparound services. I can write a book on HISD education from 1924 to present. That is why Trustees are so important, many do not know the importance of education for my Black and Brown Students. As a former HISD School Home Community Agent, retired HISD Educator, PTA President 2 years Middle School and 4 years - High School and 6 years as a Den Mother for Boy Scouts of America.. Love you!"

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "The lady you see on the left is Dr. Grenita Lathan. Now, she's moved on to a place where her experience is appreciated. However, that still does not negate the fact that there are three HISD Trustees who need to be thrown out of office on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in the runoff elections for the HISD School Board. That being said, Gerry Wayne Monroe, is encouraging you to cast your vote for Caroline Walter in the Saturday, December 11, 2021, runoff race for HISD District V. And in the runoff race for HISD District VI, on Saturday, December 11, 2021, Gerry Wayne Monroe has endorsed Kendall Baker as his candidate of choice. And finally, in the race for HISD District VII, Gerry Wayne Monroe has endorsed Bridget Wade, as his candidate of choice. This being said, please don't forget that early voting will begin on Monday, November 29, 2021, and end on Tuesday, December 7, 2021." ***You can check out this Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan report on this matter by (CLICKING HERE) and watching the video to better understand why you should not vote for these four HISD Trustees.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Now is the time when our love for America must prevail. It is incumbent upon us to elect "PUBLIC SERVANTS" who understand that they work for the people. We need "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in office who love "OUR CONSTITUTION" and the ideals that our nation was founded upon by our forefathers. We must endeavor to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this crucial moment during the history of our great nation."
