Every Candidate Deserves to Be Treated Fairly, Shown Respect by their Respective Political Party in the Upcoming 2022 Midterms

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "We have to make sure that every candidate running for office is treated fairly by their respective political party! Now, that being said, I'm not sure why we have sitting Black elected officials like State Rep. Ron Reynolds (HD-27), in Fort Bend County, and Cynthia M. Ginyard, chairwoman of the Fort Bend County Democratic Party, promoting one Democrat over another duly-qualified Democrat. Do you see that woman in the red jacket waving in the photo above? Well, that strong Democratic woman is Deirdre Gilbert, and she made it well-known that she was running for Governor of Texas as a Democrat way back on 12/29/2020, when she appointed her treasurer. However, on the surface, it's starting to look like the Texas Democratic Party, the Fort Bend Democratic Party, and the Harris County Democratic Party are not even acknowledging that Deirdre Gilbert is even in the race. And on top of that, she's not even being treating with the respect she deserves."

Blatantly Disrespecting the Black 2022 Gubernatorial Candidates Could Cause Some Black voters to Stay Home

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS

There’s absolutely no way to put a positive spin on what we see happening already with the entry of former Congressman Beto O’Rourke’s entry into the 2022 gubernatorial race. What’s going on? Well, let me tell it to you like this, “SOME BLACK DEMOCRATS ARE NOT TREATING OTHER BLACK PEOPLE FAIRLY” right now. Why am I pointing out this fact? Well, I’m not sure why I’m the only one with the courage to point out how my people are being disrespected, disregarded, ignored, and belittled by local and state Democratic Party officials. However, this must STOP!!! Now, that being said, both State Rep. Ron Reynolds (HD-27), in Fort Bend County, and Cynthia Ginyard, the chairwoman for the Fort Bend County Democratic Party are both fully aware that at this time, there are two viable African American candidates running for Governor of Texas in the upcoming “SUPER TUESDAY” Democratic Party Primary. But if not, Deirdre Gilbert made her intentions known, way back on 12/29/2020, when she appointed her treasurer, and Michael Cooper made his intentions known, way back on 2/02/2021, a few months after Deirdre Gilbert had already announced that she was running for governor.

“Freedoms are FREE, Respect is EARNED, and Accountability is DEMANDED. None of these are easy to obtain, but necessary.”

~Deirdre Gilbert

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Isn't Deirdre Gilbert and Michael Cooper both Democrats too? So, why do you think state Rep. Ron Reynolds is sending out "BREAKING NEWS ALERTS" to promote former congressman Beto O'Rourke? Anyways, please don't forget that State Rep. Ron Reynolds, and Cynthia M. Ginyard, the chairwoman for the Fort Bend County Democratic Party are both up for re-election in the 2022 Midterm Election."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "As you can see in the "SCREENSHOT" above, a lot are not feeling former congressman Beto O'Rourke right about now. Who knows? Maybe that will change between now and "SUPER TUESDAY," but you never know these days. Anything can happen between now and the day Beto and Deirdre Gilbert will faceoff in the Democratic Party Primary race for Governor of Texas."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "What you are looking at above is a "PAID POLITICAL EMAIL" that was sent out by the Texas Democratic Party. Now, this particular email was sent out by the Texas Democratic Party to help raise money for their push to promote former congressman Beto O'Rourke's gubernatorial bid. However, I haven't seen on to promote Deirdre Gilbert's gubernatorial bid yet. Have you? Heck, I haven't even received one promoting Michael Cooper's gubernatorial bid either. Have you?"

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "I'm not sure why we have sitting Black elected officials like State Rep. Ron Reynolds (HD-27), in Fort Bend County, and Cynthia M. Ginyard, chairwoman of the Fort Bend County Democratic Party, promoting one Democrat over another duly-qualified Democrat."

Can Beto O'Rourke Win the Democratic Gubernatorial Nomination on Super Tuesday?

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS

What do you think? Listen! What the Texas Democratic Party needs right now is a candidate who can assist them with expanding the base of their party. So, can former congressman Beto O’Rourke help to expand the base of the Democratic Party in the 2022 Midterms? THE ANSWER IS A RESOUNDING “NO” if the initial response to his entry into the 2022 gubernatorial race is any indication. How can I say this? Well, if you look at the “SCREENSHOT” below, you will clearly see that some Democrats in Fort Bend County are too enthusiastic about Beto being their gubernatorial nominee in 2022.

LOOKING BACK

You can’t win Texas without being able to run up big numbers in Harris County, Texas. Now, with that said, if you take a moment and glance back at what happened in Harris County, Texas back during the 2018 Midterm Election, you will clearly see that Beto did better than everyone else on the ballot. However, Beto only received 700,200 votes in Harris County. Why is this significant? Well, at the time, Harris County had 2,307,654 registered voters, who could have gone to the polls to cast their vote for Beto O’Rourke back on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, when he was on the ballot trying to unseat Ted Cruz in the race for the U.S. Senate – a race Beto lost. And what you have to remember about the 2018 Midterms is that, 1,219,871 votes were cast in Harris County, back on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, but only 700,200 votes were cast for Beto. So, 519,671, of the 1,219,871 registered voters who cast votes in Harris County chose to not vote for Beto O’Rourke. What am I trying to say? Well, the unless the Beto O’Rourke can find a way to appeal to more people, especially Black voters, he’s going to have a very tough time trying to beat Gov. Greg Abbott in the 2022 gubernatorial election.

MUST DO BETTER

The mistreatment and blatant disrespect of Black candidates like Deirdre Gilbert and Michael Cooper in the race for governor could turn Blacks off next fall. What am I talking about? Well, I’m glad you asked. Remember, I told you that former Congressman Beto O’Rourke received 700,200 votes in Harris County, back during the Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Midterm Election. So, if Democrats are actually voting “BLUE NO MATTER WHO” why were the African American candidates so far behind Beto O’Rourke and other Democrats from other ethnic groups in terms of their overall vote count?
