After reviewing the "OFFICIAL CUMULATIVE REPORT" again last night, I found some very startling statistics that need to be shared with the general public.
Isn't it interesting that of the (63) sixty-three local countywide races African Americans were running as Democrats in only (29) twenty-nine of them; but Black were the only Democrats to lose their countywide races back on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in Harris County, Texas?
What I've discovered is that Democrats only lost (4) four countywide races in Harris County, but all four were lost by African Americans. Isn't that strange? Nope, I'm not kidding! All four of the candidates who lost countywide contests (Judge Ronnisha Bowman, Je'Rell Rogers, Porscha Natasha Brown, and Gemayel Haynes) just so happened to be African American.
Now, am I the only person in Harris County, Texas who's noticed that nearly half of the Democratic candidates being sued right now, are African American? Why is that? Especially, when there were (63) sixty-three local countywide races that could have been challenged?
What's also very concerning is that these candidates are being left to fend for themselves, it appears. And why is Harris County District Clerk Marilyn Burgess having to ask the public for donations to help her fend off the lawsuit that is being brought against her by her Republican opponent?
Doesn't all of this sound a little strange to you? Where is the Texas Democratic Party? Where's Beto O'Rourke right now? Where's all that money that was raised? What about Vice President Kamala Harris? What about Rodney Ellis with his $5 million dollar war chest? Better yet, where's Odus Evbagharu, chairman of the Harris County Democratic Party? What in the hell is Odus doing to help out?
Last night I received an email from Marilyn Burgess talking about the (21) twenty-one lawsuits that she claims have been filed by "ELECTION DENIERS" against her and her fellow Democrats. Look, the "GOP" candidates who've filed lawsuits are not "ELECTION DENIERS" if you ask me.
We should all be about the business of making sure that no votes are being suppressed, and only legal votes are being counted in Harris County, Texas. And beyond that, no sitting "ELECTED OFFICIALS" should be running around our county using their "ELECTED OFFICE" as a bully-pulpit, to intimidate, demonize, and vilify people who are only searching for the truth.
The email I received from Burgess read, "I was glad the election was behind us and I could get back to focusing on doing the work you elected me to do. Then on the 2 year anniversary of the January 6 insurrection, our own Harris County election deniers filed 21 Election Contests. Twenty-one duly elected Harris County officials have had their elections challenged with the hope of overturning the voices of over 1 million Harris County voters. My election was one of those contested."
In the email, Marilyn Burgess said, "If they prevail here, it will have an earth-shaking effect not just on Texas, but the entire United States and its founding principles. Texas leads the nation in suppression of voters rights, women’s rights, and the rights of all minorities. We cannot let Texas just throw out election results they don’t like and make Texas over in the image of Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick, and Ken Paxton."
NO MONEY LEFT
Toward the end of her plea for help from the public, Marilyn Burgess talked about how she currently doesn't have the funds to fight the lawsuit against her.
In fact, here's what Burgess said, "I fought a hard election and told you we had prevailed but we had spent all of our funds on THE ELECTION. I have no funds left to defend this assault on democracy. I am turning to you again to rebuild those coffers – now, not only to maintain our community presence, but now to mount a legal defense.
After reading the email that Harris County District Clerk Marilyn Burgess sent out, I decided to pull her "CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORT" to see how much cash on hand she had left. And to my surprise, she's telling the truth. Burgess and nearly all of the other Democrats being sued don't even have the money to fend off the lawsuits being waged against them. What are they going to do? How are these Democrats going to fend off the lawsuits?

And Harris County District Clerk Marilyn Burgess only has $15,238.49 cash on hand according to her most recently filed campaign finance report. Now, remember, these "CASH ON HAND TOTALS" are based on the reports that Wyatt, Hudspeth, and Burgess filed prior to Election Day. That being said, all three of these Democrats could possibly be flat-broke right now.
At first glance, this email seemed like it could be one of those money grabs, but Harris County District Clerk, Marilyn Burgess could possibly be flat-broke, just like she's claiming to be in this email.
