The Strongest Nonpartisan 2022 Midterm Election Endorsement Slate Has Just Been Launched in Harris County, Texas

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I’ve decided to run my own “COORDINATED NONPARTISAN SLATE” that will be targeted (but not limited to) reaching registered voters who live in Greater Third Ward, Greater Fourth Ward (Freedmen’s Town), Greater Fifth Ward, Sunnyside, Alief, Corinthian Point, Independence Heights, Hiram Clarke, South Park, Acres Homes, Kashmere Gardens, Greater Greenspoint, Settegast, Barrett Station, Baytown, Crosby/Huffman, Southwest Houston, Pleasantville, Montrose, Midtown, Bellaire, Braeburn/Willowbend, Humble/Atascocita, and Spring.

Today, I’m releasing (PHASE ONE) of my “NONPARTISAN ENDORSEMENTS” for the upcoming Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Midterm Election. That being said, my team and I are currently working on our (PHASE TWO) endorsement and will release them shortly.

You can “CLICK HERE” to see all of the Democrats and Republicans who made the first cut.

What a lot of folks currently sitting in leadership positions inside the Harris County Republican Party (HCRP) and Harris County Democratic Party (HCDP) don’t seem to realize is that General Elections (with no straight-ticket voting) must run differently from primaries. How can I say this? During the last midterm election (Tuesday, November 6, 2018), there were 2,307,654 registered voters in Harris County, Texas. However, only 1,219,871, registered voters turned out to vote.

When you subtract 1,219,871 registered voters from 2,307,654 registered voters, you will quickly realize that 1,087,784 people who were registered to vote in Harris County, Texas back during the 2018 Midterm Election stayed at home and didn’t vote for anybody.

Yes, you heard me right!!! Over 1 million registered voters in Harris County didn’t even bother to go to the polls to vote for Democrats or Republicans back during the last Midterm Election.

Longtime Black Community Activist Gladys House has stepped up and boldly endorsed Carmen Maria Montiel over Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee in the race for the 18th Congressional District of Texas. Montiel will face off against Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in the Midterm Election. Early voting will begin on Monday, October 24, 2022, and end on Friday, November 4, 2022.

"Now is the time when our love for America must prevail. So, it is incumbent upon us to elect "PUBLIC SERVANTS" who understand that they work for us. We need "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in office who love "OUR CONSTITUTION" and the ideals that our nation was founded upon by our forefathers. That being said, we must make it our collective effort to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this pivotal moment in the history of our great nation."
