Gerry Monroe Must Be Elected in the Race for HISD Trustee for District IX to End the Corruption on the Board

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "For those of you who don't know, Gerry Monroe is perhaps one of the most qualified candidates I've ever seen run for the (HISD) Houston Independent School Board. And it's a shame that our very own people are the ones who are doing everything in their power to try and keep the "5 STAR GENERAL" from accomplishing his goal of putting his years of experience to work for the kids who live within the boundaries of HISD District IX. Anyways, back on 12/30/2020, Carroll G. Robinson, the chairman of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats, and his boy Antron D. Johnson conspired together to form the "REFORM HISD PAC" so that they could play ball in the upcoming Tuesday, November 2, 2021, HISD School Board Elections. And they've also conspired together to form several other PAC's so that they can play ball in the 2022 Midterm Elections, and the 2024 Presidential Elections."

Why Did Carroll and Antron Conspire Together to form a Bogus Political Action Committee Called Reform HISD?

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

It's painfully obvious that there are a whole lot of people who don't want to see change come to the HISD School Board on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 -- especially in the race for the District IX seat. But believe it or not -- Gerry Monroe has a real shot to unseat Myrna Guidry, the woman who was appointed to the position earlier this year!!! However, to bring forth the much needed change, Gerry Monroe will need some strong "PATRIOT ALLIES" on the board with him -- if you know what I mean. So, that's why, "GOOD AMERICANS" who love our "UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION" and the blood-bought freedoms we enjoy as liberated people, must get behind the candidates we've endorsed in the upcoming Tuesday, November 2, 2021, HISD School Board Elections.

2021 HISD ENDORSEMENTS: Please remind all of your neighbors, family, and friends to make it their "PATRIOTIC DUTY" to cast their vote for these "PROUD AMERICANS" who promise to continue their fight for every child once they're elected to the HISD School Board. Janette Garza Lindner, is endorsed in the November 2, 2021, race for HISD Trustee for District I, over Matias Kopinski and Elizabeth Santos. Caroline Walter, is endorsed in the November 2, 2021, race for HISD Trustee for District V, over Maria Benzon and Sue Deigaard. Dr. Kendall Baker, is endorsed in the November 2, 2021, race for HISD Trustee for District VI, over Gregory Allen Degeyter and Holly Maria Flynn Vilaseca. Bridget Wade, is endorsed in the November 2, 2021, race for HISD Trustee for District VII, over Dwight Jefferson, Anne Sung, and Lee Macerlean. And Gerry Monroe, is endorsed in the November 2, 2021, race for HISD Trustee for District IX, over Joshua Ryan Rosales and Myrna Guidry.

IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW, the current HISD School Board has failed the students. And unless something is done on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, by the voters, recently passed legislation (SB 1365) is going to kick in, and TEA is going to take it over.

A Conservator Is Already On Site at HISD, the Largest School District in Texas

by State Senator Paul Bettencourt

Remember the important restoration of the entire A thru F public school accountability system in my SB 1365 that I authored during the regular session and that went into effect on September 1st with help from House sponsor Huberty and bipartisan support of Public Education chairs Dutton and Taylor? Well, it is already being put to good use by the Texas Education Agency! They have informed the Texas Supreme Court that they have a conservator on site at HISD, the LARGEST school district in Texas, and that means the state may now proceed with the takeover of the HISD Board of Trustees.

HISD has had years of problems with failing schools - a TEA investigation that showed numerous problems, and this has gone on long enough in my opinion! In addition, due to COVID-19, more schools than ever have dropped into or dangerously close to this range - as for most students, remote learning during the pandemic was a real life educational disaster and their STAAR test score performance will suffer for years to follow.

Hence the passage of SB 1365! Now, TEA and the TEA Commissioner, will have authority over the entire district, not just the schools with an 'F' rating if the courts concur. This positive intervention will work to benefit any individual district and bring them back to a passing score! As I always say, "What gets measured, gets fixed!" - this doesn't just apply to taxes!

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "The dude you see above with his arms crossed in none other than Carroll G. Robinson, the chairman of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats. As of right now, Carroll G. Robinson is the only person on record who has donated any money to Reform HISD -- THE POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE that he and his boy Antron D. Johnson set up back in 2020. As you will see below, Carroll G. Robinson, in his capacity as a professor at Texas Southern University only donated $100.00 dollars to Reform HISD back on 12/30/2020, shortly after the results of the 2020 Presidential Election were declared official in Harris County, Texas."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "If you look above at the area I have circled in red, you'll see that a donation in the amount of $100.00 dollars was made to Reform HISD by Carroll G. Robinson, who is listed as a professor at Texas Southern University."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "This cat right here is Carroll G. Robinson's boy, Antron D. Johnson. This dude is listed as the treasurer of the Reform HISD Political Action Committee. As you can see below, his address is the same address that's listed for Reform HISD."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "As you can see above, 1034 Saulnier Street is the same address that Antron D. Johnson uses for his home address and the address for Reform HISD. Now, below you will see further proof that Carroll and his boy Antron are the only two people behind the Reform HISD Political Action Committee."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "If you go to the Texas Ethics Commission website and type in the name Antron Johnson in the window to search by treasurer name you will find that as of today, Tuesday, July 27, 2021, he's currently listed as the treasurer for The Texas Black Democrats PAC. He's also the treasure for the TxMuniPAC and the Reform HISD PAC, according to my investigation."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "If you look at the "FILER ID'S" above the "FILER ID" numbered 00084225 belongs to The Texas Black Democrats PAC. The "FILER ID" numbered 00085132 belongs to TxMuniPAC. And the "FILER ID" numbered 00085131 belongs to Reform HISD. Again Antron D. Johnson, a close friend of Carroll G. Robinson, the chairman for the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats is listed as the treasurer for all three of the "GPAC'S" listed above."

Melanie Wilcox Flowers used to be a member of the Harris County Republican Party. However, after a couple of unsuccessful runs for public office as a Republican, she's switched political parties. Melanie now serves as the Harris County Democratic Precinct Chair for Precinct #140. But don't get it twisted, Melanie did not switch parties just to become a Democratic Precinct Chair.

The North Dallas Gazette Reported that Miles Agreed to Serve As Chair of the Texas Alliance of Black PACs

(PRESS RELEASE)

The Texas Coalition of Black Democrats (TCBD), in preparation for the 2022 and 2024 election cycles, has organized a statewide Texas Alliance of Black Political Action Committees (PACs) to engage in coordinated local, statewide and national fundraising to increase overall funding to maximize Black Democratic voter turnout through increased and enhanced voter registration, issue education, year-round voter engagement, community service and political infrastructure building and maintenance.

This historic initiative will be led by small business-owner, Melanie Miles. Miles has agreed to lead the fundraising project as part of The Coalition’s broader effort to help increase the involvement of Democratic Precinct Chairs and local and county elected officials within The Coalition and Texas Democratic Party.

In agreeing to serve as Chair of the Texas Alliance of Black PACs, Miles said, “I will be laser focused on helping to raise the funding necessary to bring change to Texas. Our state needs better, more compassionate and competent leadership and the path to achieving that goal is a stronger, more unified, energized and well-funded Black Democratic political infrastructure.

Black Democrats need the financial wherewithal to partner with our county parties across the state to maximize black voter turnout in our rural, suburban and urban counties.”

In addition to fundraising for the Texas Alliance of Black PACs, Melanie Miles has also agreed to work with The Coalition’s State Chair, Carroll G. Robinson, to assist him in an effort to help secure funding to ensure that all 254 Democratic County Parties across Texas have a full-time paid staff member to maximize the efficiency of precinct chairs in the effort to increase overall Democratic voter turnout.

Under the leadership of Miles, The Alliance will be reaching out to partner and work with all the various constituency organizations and allied groups, in the Texas Democratic Party, to maximize strategic deployment of assets, resources and investments in the Coalition’s effort to (Re)Turn Texas Blue.

Chairman Robinson said, “TCBD greatly appreciates Melanie Miles’ commitment to helping the Coalition and other Texas Black PACs secure the resources necessary to help elect Black Democrats and grow Black voter turnout to help elect Democrats all across Texas in 2022 and 2024.”

If you are interested in donating to or partnering and working with the Texas Alliance of Black PACs, please contact Melanie Miles at TABPACs@gmail.com.

The Texas Coalition of Black Democrats is a political organization and we must always remember that politics is a means to an end. Our end goals must include ending poverty, hunger, homelessness, race-based health disparities, the racial wealth-income-and education gaps. Eliminating food deserts, public transportation and infrastructure inequity, as well as environmental injustices, must also be priorities of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats.
