A New Chapter in American History Will Be Written During the 2026 Democratic Party Primary, in Texas

Judge Audrie Lawton Evans has her sights set on making history in the 2026 Democratic Party Primary in Harris County, Texas. Judge Germaine Tanner, Judge Dedra Davis, and Judge Lucia Bates will headline a powerful contingent of African American "INCUMBENT JUDGES" seeking to etch their names into the annals of American History during "BLACK HISTORY MONTH," which begins on Sunday, February 1, 2026, and ends on Sunday, March 1, 2026. On Tuesday, March 3, 2026. In other news, former Councilman Dwight Boykins will need a historic turnout on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in the "RUNOFF ELECTION" for the Houston City Council At-Large Position #4 seat, which was vacated by Councilwoman Letitia Plummer, who is vying to make history by becoming the first African American woman to serve as the Harris County Judge.

"REAL LEADERSHIP."

In a show of leadership, high-powered Attorney Nyanza Moore recently voiced her opinion on the At-Large Position 4, "RUNOFF ELECTION," scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, and the "CD-18 RUNOFF ELECTION," which is scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026. For the record, Attorney Nyanza Moore, as always, displayed the "FIVE QUALITIES" of a great leader. And during a time when the African American Community is somewhat devoid of courageous leaders who are willing to speak truth to power, Attorney Moore is a breath of fresh air.

Great leaders are self-aware and prioritize their own personal development before trying to lead others.

Great leaders place great emphasis on helping, supporting, and improving the lives of others.

Great leaders encourage those within the sphere of influence to think strategically and independently.

Great leaders are ethical, transparent, and honest, and place great emphasis on civic engagement.

Great leaders practice and encourage others to collaborate with other ethnic groups.

According to high-powered Attorney Nyanza Moore, the woman running against Dwight Boykins on Saturday, December 13, 2025, is nothing but a wealthy lawyer trying to be a people's person. On the other hand, if you listen to the statement in the video above, Attorney Nyanza Moore told FOX 26 REPORTER, Greg Groogan, on "WHAT'S YOUR POINT," that Dwight Boykins is a person for the people. Early voting will begin on Monday, December 1, 2025, and end on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

According to former Councilmember Dwight Boykins, infrastructure is the number one issue in the City of Houston, Texas. "Houston is not just a Democrat or Republican City -- it's a City for All," says Dwight. If we elect "DWIGHT BOYKINS" to the Houston City Council, At-Large Position #4, we will get a councilman who will work with everybody.

High-powered Attorney Nyanza Moore told the truth when she said, "A vote for Christian Menefee is a vote for Rodney Ellis," in the video above. For the record, Christian Menefee finished first on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in the "SPECIAL ELECTION" for the 18th Congressional District of Texas. Menefee received 734 absentee mail ballots, and Amanda Edwards received 802 absentee mail ballots. Menefee received a total of 22,022 votes, for 28.90% of the vote. Comparatively speaking, Amanda Edwards received 19,467 votes, for 25.55%. Amanda Edwards has everything it takes to be an effective leader. However, for some reason, Amanda refuses to use all the tools that she has been blessed with. High-powered Attorney Nyanza Moore believes that Amanda Edwards can do it, but says that Amanda needs to show more "BLACKNESS," because Congressman Al Green is coming. Early voting for the "CD-18 RUNOFF," between Christian Menefee and Amanda Edwards will begin on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, and end on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Election Day voting will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

The MLK Unity Parade will take place on Monday, January 19, 2026, in Downtown Houston at 10:00 A.M., with the Grand Marshalls being the Madd Hatta, Charles Stamps, and Mayor John Whitmire.

Judge Jermaine Thomas, the newly appointed judge for Harris County Civil Court at Law #5, and State Rep. Ron Reynolds are two of the local leaders who will be featured on the cover of our historic "2026 BLACK HISTORY MONTH" edition, featuring local political trailblazers in Harris County, Texas, and Fort Bend County, Texas. In case you don't know, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, Harris County Commissioners appointed Judge Jermaine Thomas as the presiding judge for County Civil Court at Law #5, in Harris County, Texas. Listen. There is a severe shortage of African American men on local judicial benches in our area, and Judge Thomas plans to be fair, unbiased, and follow the law.

Black judges are under siege by political operatives from both sides of the political aisle. The political operatives on the right are called "RINOs," which means "Republican in Name Only," And the political operatives on the left, whom "BLACK JUDGES" must watch out for, are called "DINOs," which means "Democrat in Name Only."

Congressman Al Green is endorsed by powerful Democrat State Rep. Ron Reynolds and the Houston Business Connections Newspaper in the Democratic Party Primary race for the newly-drawn 18th Congressional District of Texas. Early voting will begin Tuesday, February 17, 2026, and end on Friday, February 27, 2025. Election Day is Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in Texas.

State Rep. Ron Reynolds and Mayor John Whitmire are two strong local leaders who are spreading love and unity in the Houston area. Remember, "We are tied together in the single garment of destiny, caught in an inescapable network of mutuality," said the late great civil rights icon, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., before his passing.

America, as we know it, was founded on Thursday, July 4, 1776, when the Declaration of Independence was adopted. Since that day, there has never been a moment like the one we could see unfold right here in Harris County, Texas, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Harris County Democratic Party Primary.

If all of the African American "INCUMBENT JUDGES," on the Democratic side of the aisle, win their nomination bids, the Harris County Democratic Party will have its name etched in the annals of American history to nominate "OVER TWO-DOZEN," African American sitting judges, to represent a major political party, in general election, in the history of history of our great nation.

"TOUGH ROAD."

With the Harris County Republican Party (HCRP) planning to run nearly all of their judicial candidates "UNCONTESTED" on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, it would not be a good idea for the Harris County Democratic Party (HCDP) to field too many contested judicial races.

Businessman Eric Carr still has a deep affection for the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and is deeply invested in the future of the 18th Congressional District of Texas. However, Carr has not made a decision on who he will endorse in the 2026 Midterm General Election for the 18th Congressional District of Texas.

Joe Danna would make an excellent Harris County Sheriff. Houston Business Connections Newspaper encourages all of our readers to put people over politics.

Gerry Wayne Monroe, the Five-Star General, loved Yates High School and cared deeply about education and local politics. He will always be remembered as the "5-STAR GENERAL," a true community activist who cared about children and the future of the 18th Congressional District of Texas. There's no doubt about it, there will never be another Gerry Wayne Monroe.
