Isabel Longoria is a Train Wreck Waiting to Happen in the Upcoming 2022 Midterm Election in Harris County, Texas

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: “I totally agree with HCRP Chair Cindy Siegel’s statement she made the day after the Tuesday, November 2, 2021, HISD and HCC School Board Election when she stated, 'Yesterday’s election is another example of how our Democrat leaders continually fail Harris County voters.' Look!!! We can no longer sit by and allow Harris County to be run into the ground. That being said, we must dismantle the practice of appointing and electing people like Isabel Longoria to positions of authority for symbolic reasons. Let me say what I’m trying to say, a different way! Isabel Longoria, the appointed Harris County Elections Administrator, is unqualified, unprepared, and should have never been appointed by (Democratic) Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, (Democratic) Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia, and (Democrat) County Judge Lina Hidalgo to serve as the Harris County Elections Administrator. It’s clear that Ellis, Garcia, and Hidalgo appointed this unqualified woman to this position over the more qualified African American Teneshia Hudspeth, purely because they were looking for a gay/Lesbian woman to serve as the first ever Harris County Elections Administrator.”

HCRP CHAIR CINDY SIEGEL: “Yesterday’s election is another example of how our Democrat leaders continually fail Harris County voters. Democrats on Commissioners Court claimed the appointed Elections Administrator role would improve our voting system and alleviate elections results delays, however we’re still seeing the same disastrous outcome. This was more than the result of a ‘power outage’ as Ms. Longoria’s office reported last night. Between the inadequate election worker training for new machines, equipment missing or malfunctioning, and breakdown of chain of custody, and more - this 10% turnout election has been a disaster and all voters should be concerned about the mismanagement of larger turnout elections in 2022.”

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: “I don’t necessarily agree with Teneshia Hudspeth on a multitude of different issues related to political matters. However, Teneshia Hudspeth who currently serves as the Harris County Clerk, is experience, smart, competent, and could do a much better job at managing our local elections on “SUPER TUESDAY” in my opinion. And Teneshia Hudspeth being an African American has absolutely nothing to do with what I’m talking about right now. What am I talking about? Well, according to her website, prior to even being elected as the Harris County Clerk, Teneshia Hudspeth supervised the Administrators of all departments and locations of Commissioners Court, Elections, County Civil Courts, Probate Courts, Personal Records, Real Property, Information/Records Archives, and Annex Offices in operational planning, human resources, financial, advocacy, community relations and risk management. And on top of that prior to even being elected as the Harris County Clerk, Hudspeth, had more than 15 year member of the Harris County Clerk’s Office, serving under three Administrations, she has held a variety of positions that have provided the breadth of knowledge necessary to serve the public well, including Administrative Aide of Public Affairs, Special Projects Coordinator, Voter Outreach Coordinator, Public Information Officer, and Administrator of Communications & Voter Outreach.”

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: “This woman right here (Isabel Longoria) is a train wreck waiting to happen in the 2022 Midterm Election, in my opinion. She couldn’t even handle this low-voter turnout School Board Election. So, how in the word is she going to be ready for the record turnout we’re about to see on “SUPER TUESDAY” for the upcoming 2022 Democratic Party Primary and 2022 Republican Party Primary? That being said, even if we’re going to stick with the Elections Administrator type of governance over local elections a more qualified person is needed to fill the position. This Isabel Longoria woman is in over her head, and should resign.”

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Make no mistake about it, Harris County taxpayers and voters should both be outraged right about now. Why? Well, 30 election judges failed to pick up their Election Day supply kits on the day before Election Day! Did you hear me? So, from what I understand, the Harris County Republican Party, and Harris County Democratic Party was forced at the request of (Isabel Longoria) to spring into action and help fill the open positions. And get this, none of “ELECTION JUDGES” who worked assigned to work at the more than 700 polling places on Election Day, were trained to work on the new voting machines. Yep! You heard me right – none of the “ELECTION JUDGES” received any in-person training on how the new machines worked.

CLOSED POLLING LOCATIONS

Please take a look below at the list of Election Day polling places that the Harris County Elections Administrator (Isabel Longoria) had to close. She had to close these particular Election Day polling locations because there were no “ELECTION JUDGES” to run the operations.

0118--Fall Creek Elementary School, is located at 14435 Mesa Drive, in Humble, Texas 77396 was closed on Election Day, because the Harris County Elections Administrator did not have an “ELECTION JUDGE” to run this polling location.

0699 -- Hope Christian Reformed Church, is located at 770 Pineloch Drive, in Houston, Texas 77062, was closed on Election Day, because the Harris County Elections Administrator did not have an “ELECTION JUDGE” to run this polling location.

0451-- Champions Community Church, is located at 13111 Bammel North Houston Rd, in Houston, Texas 77066, was closed on Election Day, because the Harris County Elections Administrator did not have an “ELECTION JUDGE” to run this polling location.

The People of Harris County Deserve Much Better Than What We’re Getting for Our Money Right Now With This Isabel Longoria Woman

HBC NEWSPAPER REPORTS©

PROBLEM #1: In the first countywide election using new election equipment, it is INEXCUSABLE to not give ALL elections judges hands-on training on the new equipment. Online training on unfamiliar election equipment is INADEQUATE. Covid and budgets are NO EXCUSE. .

PROBLEM #2: It is inexcusable to not give hands-on training on the new election equipment and procedures to at least one election clerk per polling location.

PROBLEM #3: The missing chain-of-custody documents, the missing scanner tally tapes, scanners not turned in on election night, ballots not turned in on election night and the serious discrepancies between the voter counts and the ballot counts are all the result of POOR training of the election judges and clerks.

PROBLEM #4:: An experienced elections administrator would KNOW that the process of determining voter intent on defective paper ballots (including overseas and military ballots) is handled by the Ballot Board. An experienced elections administrator would not waste precious time on Election Day having the smaller central count team handle this process.

PROBLEM #5: When the public Logic and Accuracy Test (L&A) in September took more than a week to complete, an experienced elections administrator would have taken appropriate steps to avoid a similar problem with the L&A Test required by law before any ballots can be counted on Election Day. An experienced administrator would not have allowed the Election Day L&A Test to consume several hours of precious time on Election Day.

PROBLEM #6: An experienced elections administrator would have properly trained staff receiving the ballot scanners AND paper ballots on election night at the turn-in point AND ensuring that each judge turned in BOTH the scanners AND the ballots. Having EA staff drive all over the county to look for missing scanners and ballots is amateur hour.

PROBLEM #7: When Commissioner Rodney Ellis pushed through the creation of the position of elections administrator in Harris County, he promised that this move would lead to smoother, seamless, timely processing of election results. It’s a shame that 2 others members on commissioners court believed him.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "So, what am I trying to say today? Well, if a shift does not happen in the person who is running our local election prior to “SUPER TUESDAY” a train wreck is about to happen when the potential 2022 Harris County Democratic Party nominees and potential 2022 Harris County Republican Party nominees face off for their right to represent their respective parties on the Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Midterm Election ballot."

Illegal/Unsolicited Mail-Ballot Applications Are 'Allegedly' Being Mailed Out by Harris County Election Administrator According to Lawsuit

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: “Do you see the lady above on the far left? Well, her name is Isabel Longoria, and she’s the Elections Administrator for Harris County, Texas. So, for those of you who don’t know, Isabel Longoria was ‘hand-picked’ and placed into her current position by Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, County Judge Lina Hidalgo, and Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia. Now, Chapter 82 of the Texas Election Code strictly prohibits any public official from sending out any “UNSOLICITED MAIL-BALLOT APPLICATIONS” to anyone. However, Gerry Wayne Monroe, a candidate running for HISD Board Trustee for District IX, has joined a lawsuit accusing Isabel Longoria of breaking the law by sending out “ILLEGAL/UNSOLICITED MAIL-BALLOT APPLICATIONS” which could have a harmful impact on his Tuesday, November 2, 2021, race against Myrna Guidry.”

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "This lady, Isabel Longoria was ‘hand-picked’ and placed into her current position by Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, County Judge Lina Hidalgo, and Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia. So, just for the record, the vote was 3 to 2, when she was appointed."

Gerry Monroe to Hold a Press Conference on Monday, September 27, 2021, to Address Illegal and Unsolicited Mail Ballot Applications Being Sent Out

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I can’t believe what my ears are hearing? Can you believe that with all that just happened with the new “VOTER INTEGRITY LAWS” in Texas being established that “UNSOLICITED MAIL-BALLOT APPLICATIONS” are being illegally mailed out in Harris County, Texas right now? This is absolutely insane – if it turns out to be true. Well, according to a lawsuit that was filed on Friday – that’s exactly what’s happening. Now, just for the record, Chapter 82 of The Texas Election Code strictly prohibits Harris County Election Administrator Isabel Longoria from sending out “UNSOLICITED MAIL-BALLOT APPLICATIONS” to potential voters – this is straight-up illegal. So, what does the law say? Well, Chapter 82 of The Texas Election Code sets out who may vote early including who may vote by mail. This includes: voters who will be absent from their county of residence on election day, voters with sicknesses or disabilities that prevent them from appearing at the polling place, voters 65 years of age or older, voters confined in jail, and voters participating in the address confidentiality program.

Gerry Monroe, a candidate for HISD Trustee Position IX will be holding a press conference to acknowledge that he is a party to a lawsuit that was filed with The Texas State Court of Appeals Court 14. “I am on the November 2021 ballot in Harris County, Texas.

By sending out illegal/unsolicited applications to vote by mail in violation of the Texas Elections Code, Ms. Longoria has impacted my campaign allowing illegal votes to be cast that will influence the results in my election and create an environment for ballot harvesting to occur. Her illegal conduct also creates confusion amongst voters who did not request the application from the Election Administrator/Longoria and allows the fraud to occur in the ballot by mail process.

I am injured by Longoria’s violation of the Texas Election Code in that sending unsolicited application to vote by mail to those who are sixty-five and older will result in illegal votes being cast in my race. This conduct is directly traceable to Longoria in that she is sending the unsolicited applications to vote by mail.

Please send a reporter and camera crew to record and document this press conference.
