Targeting Harris County Election Administrator, Clifford Tatum Was Very Smart; SB 1750 Has Abolished Tatum’s Position

State Senator Paul Bettencourt (Republican), is a free man. He's the kind of state legislator who calls balls -- balls and strikes -- strikes. And speaking of strikes, Harris County Elections Administrator, Clifford Tatum, was just struck out, by State Senator Paul Bettencourt's curve ball called, SENATE BILL 1750, which will do away with the Office of Harris County Elections Administrator, on September 1, 2023, which will be just in time for the upcoming Tuesday, November 7, 2023, City of Houston Mayoral Election in our beloved Bayou City. Now, all we need is to make it our business to elect more "FREE PEOPLE" like Senator Paul Bettencourt, as public servants. And speaking of "FREE PEOPLE" attorney Tony Buzbee is as free as free can be in my opinion.

"Freedom means to me “free from.” Free from artificial and outdated barriers. Free from being held back by old small thinking and petty beliefs. Freedom to me also means “free to.” Free to dream. Free to try. Free to even fail. Free to try, and keep trying."

TONY BUZBEE
ATTORNEY

Targeting the Harris County Election Administrator, Clifford Tatum Was Very Smart; SB 1750 Has Abolished Tatum’s Position

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

If you want to know the truth, Clifford Tatum was selected as the Harris County Election Administrator to do exactly what he did. Clifford Tatum performed masterfully and created the “ELECTION DAY” chaos just as he was more likely than not, instructed to do on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in the Midterm Election, in Harris County, Texas. However, with County Attorney Christian Menefee refusing to release important communication (i.e. emails, texts, and phone records), the general public may never get a full understanding of what took place, and that’s a damn shame.

How was the entire “ELECTION DAY” debacle planned out? Why was the error-filled canvass report certified by Commissioner Rodney Ellis, and Adrian Garcia with Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo conveniently absent? Which commissioner pulled the strings to get Clifford Tatum selected to replace the embattled Isabel Longoria in the first place?

Glory be to God for blessing us with state Senator Paul Bettencourt, who previously served as Harris County’s Tax-Assessor Collector/Voter Registrar for over ten years, before becoming the District 7 state Senator. On September 1, 2023, just in time for the upcoming Tuesday, November 7, 2023, the City of Houston Mayoral Election, SB 1750, will become law, and remand “all election-related duties and powers” back to the current “Democrat” Harris County Clerk, which is Teneshia Hudspeth, and the current “Democratic” County Tax Assessor-Collector Ann Harris Bennett.

“MORE ACTION NEEDED.”

What else is going to be done besides writing legislation? From what I can see, none of the issues that are the root cause of the problems that took place in Harris County have even been addressed. Someone was behind the scenes playing with the numbers. And if you ask me, some very powerful people should have their heads on a swivel right about now.

“I want to be clear: this fight is not over,” proclaimed Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee, in a quote that was published in the Houston Chronicle related to this matter. “We cannot and will not allow the state to illegally target Harris County,” he went on to say.

However, it wasn’t County Attorney Christian Menefee’s statement that surprised me, but rather the statement that was made by Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia. “If they don’t work to make our elections better, there will be no mechanism to fix these mistakes ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election,” explained Commissioner Garcia. And he’s correct, in his assessment of the dangers that are about to be encountered in the upcoming Tuesday, November 7, 2023, City of Houston Mayoral Election, and during the 2024 Presidential Election cycle in Harris County, Texas.

There was also a quote by Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis that I found very interesting as well. According to Commissioner Ellis, Republicans in Austin were pushing the election changes because they were “threatened by the growth of and diversity of Harris County’s electorate.” But I beg to differ with Ellis’s comment and believe it to be patently false.

In the first place, current Harris County Officials ignored all of the warning signs, especially, the fact that the “OFFICIAL CANVASS REPORT” was littered with errors, and the “RECONCILIATION REPORTS” were not reconciled, before being signed off on by Harris County Elections Administrator’s Office.

If you ask me, the fact that the numbers that were supposedly produced by the “TABULATION COMPUTER” not matching up, is a serious problem, and points to malfeasance of some sort by a human being. That being said, Democrats are very fortunate that the entire “MIDTERM ELECTION” for all countywide wasn’t overturned, after the fiasco that unfolded after election day.

----------------------------

What a shame! In all actuality, the Democrats who are being sued, and are at risk of having their races voided didn’t even do anything wrong if you ask me. The stupidity of Harris County Elections Administrator Clifford Tatum, and only God knows who else, are the culprits.

----------------------------

In actuality, Judge David Peeples, the presiding judge over the remaining 20 election challenges may be left with no other choice but to void the races and order a new election. Yes, 21 election challenges are remaining, but the race for Judge, 180th Criminal District Court between Tami C. Pierce (Republican), and Judge DaSean Jones (Democrat) is on appeal, according to court records.

“LEARNING LESSONS.”

It’s a tough learning lesson, but the true results of the remaining races being challenged cannot be ascertained by Judge David Peeples, or anyone else, and by law must be voided.

Yes, you heard me right! The race for Harris County Judge, District Judge 55th Judicial District Court, District Judge 189th Judicial District Court, District Judge, 269th Judicial District, District Judge, 281st Judicial District, Judge, County Criminal Court at Law No. 5, Judge, County Criminal Court at Law No. 6, Judge, County Criminal Court at Law No. 8, Judge, County Criminal Court at Law No. 9, Judge, County Criminal Court at Law No. 10, Judge, County Criminal Court at Law No. 11, Judge County Criminal Court at Law No. 12, Judge, County Civil Court at Law No. 1, Judge, County Civil Court at Law No. 3, Judge, County Civil Court at Law No. 4, Judge County Probate Court No. 3, Judge, County Probate Court No. 4, District Clerk, County Clerk, and County Treasurer, must all be voided.

We need to be praying for Judge David Peeples to have the courage to do the right thing and void all of the aforementioned races because the true results of these races cannot be ascertained.

For the record, the true outcome of the race for Harris County Judge that took place back on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, cannot be ascertained by Judge David Peeples, or anyone else because of all of the errors, voter disenfranchisement, fraud, and possible criminal activity that took place in Harris County, Texas. IGNORE THE MARGIN OF VICTORY! Why? Well, if the Court (Judged David Peeples) cannot because of fraud or mistake, or because an election official engaged in activity that prevented eligible voters from voting, be certain that the outcome as posted in the final canvass represents the true outcome, and cannot ascertain the true outcome of the election, it must declare the election void, and order a new one. You can "CLICK HERE" to view the current digital version of Houston Business Connections Newspaper© online for yourself.
