Judge Tamika Craft, the presiding judge for the 189th Civil District Court is the judge who was overseeing the lawsuit that was filed by attorney Rachel Hooper on behalf of Pappas Restaraunts, Inc., that she was forced to temporarily pull the other day. Attorney Hooper was literally forced to pull her request for Judge Tamika Craft to void the $470 million Hobby Airport concessions contract because "Democrat" Judge Tamika "Tami" Craft was forcing her to proceed forward with the hearing without material witnesses like Mayor Sylvester Turner, Mario Diaz (Director of Houston Airports), Andy Icken (Chief of Economic Development), and Councilman Mike Knox being present. For the record, Mayor Turner and Andy Icken were 'conveniently absent' from the important court hearing. According to published reports, Mayor Sylvester Turner and Andy Icken were out of the county, visiting Brazil for some sort of trip discussing commercial trade.
