I’ve better understood why Mayor John Whitmire abandoned bringing former Fort Bend County Democratic Party Chairman Cynthia M. Ginyard into his administration. According to multiple sources, possible fraudulent activities have been uncovered in the “BANK RECORDS” that newly elected Fort Bend County Democratic Chairman Fred Taylor may have a duty to turn over to the Texas Rangers, Fort Bend County District Attorney Brian Middleton, and the Texas Ethics Commission.
As the potential matchup between former President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee, heats up, a recent Bloomberg poll is beginning to show a shift. However, closer to home, another shift occurs in Fort Bend County.
Fort Bend County Chairman Fred Taylor is beginning to get his feet under him as he fills out the remaining positions in his administration. From what I understand, the transition of power hasn’t gone well, and nearly all the files from recent years have gone missing.
Multiple sources have confirmed that the locks on the doors of the Fort Bend County Democratic Party headquarters have changed numerous times to keep former Fort Bend County Chair Cynthia M. Ginyard out of the offices. Chairman Fred Taylor is trying to inventory what’s missing and what property has possibly been stolen from the headquarters.
Several months ago, I published a report about Cynthia M. Ginyard, the now former Chairman of the Fort Bend County Democratic Party, and a whole heap of money, allegedly over $200,000.00, possibly missing from the FBCDP coffers.

Vice President Kamala Harris may or may not win the Presidency. However, whether she is successful in her quest to claim the White House may not be the only measure of her success in 2024.
Texas is not considered a “BATTLEGROUND STATE,” but local “DOWN-BALLOT CANDIDATES” in the Lone Star State may not necessarily be as concerned about Vice President Kamala Harris winning the state as they are about her rallying minority voters (especially Black voters) to turn out to the polls on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
Can Vice President Kamala Harris live up to the dire expectations placed on her? The question depends on who you believe and whether you trust the polls.
According to a Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll of registered voters published yesterday (Tuesday, July 30, 2024), Vice President Harris is gaining ground on former President Donald Trump in at least six of the seven swing states since President Biden made the correct decision to abandon his re-election aspirations and hand the torch to his Vice President.
The Bloomberg News/ Morning Consult poll I’m referencing was conducted between July 24-28, 2024, and revealed that Vice President Harris is now leading former President Trump in Michigan by 11 percentage points and has a 2-point lead on Trump in Arizona, Wisconsin, and Nevada. However, Trump still leads Harris by 2 points in North Carolina and 4 points in Pennsylvania – with the two locked in a dead heat in Georgia.
“MISSING MONEY.”
Yesterday, I visited Fort Bend County and was allowed to view some “BANK RECORDS” and other documents showing where some of the “MISSING MONEY” I talked about a few months ago disappeared.
After reviewing the “BANK RECORDS” and discussing the course of action, I gained a better understanding of why Cynthia M. Ginyard was so “HELL BENT” and did everything in her power to make sure that Jennifer Cantu, not Fred Taylor, would become her successor—but thankfully, Ginyard failed.
On May 28, 2024, in the Democratic Party Primary runoff election for Fort Bend County Chair, Fred G. Taylor defeated Cynthia M. Ginyard-endorsed Jennifer Cantu by the slimmest of margins—only 72 votes.
Comparatively speaking, Fred G. Taylor received 3,239 votes, 50.56% of the vote, and Jennifer Cantu received 3,167 votes for 49.44%.
“TROUBLE AHEAD.”
Yesterday (July 30, 2024), I could not take any documents or “BANK RECORDS.” Still, after reviewing recent “CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORTS” late last night, I found several discrepancies in the campaign finance report filed on 7/4/2024 by the Fort Bend County Democratic Party, which covered the period of 1/1/2024 through 6/30/2024. At the same time, Cynthia M. Ginyard was still the Chairman of the Fort Bend County Democratic Party.
After reviewing the 7/4/2024 Campaign Finance Report, I discovered no “CAMPAIGN EXPENDITURES” show had been paid to Jennifer Cantu—especially not one for $5,000.00.
If my memory serves me correctly, I saw a transaction in the “BANK RECORDS” for the Fort Bend County Democratic Party. In the spirit of transparency and to restore trust in the Fort Bend Democratic Party, this transaction should be made available to the Texas Rangers, Fort Bend County District Attorney, Texas Ethics Commission, 2024 Democratic Candidates, and the General Public.
I saw multiple unaccounted-for payments of $1,000.00 each made to Jennifer Cantu by former Fort Bend County Democratic Party Chairman Cynthia M. Ginyard. However, the aforementioned payments don’t concern me as much as a $5,000.00 payment that, if my memory serves me correctly, was made to Jennifer Cantu back in April 2024 by Cynthia M. Ginyard, who was serving as the Fort Bend County Democratic Party Chairman.
The troubling thing about Cynthia M. Ginyard's $5,000.00 payment to Jennifer Cantu is that Ginyard had endorsed Cantu around the same time in hopes that she would defeat Fred Taylor on May 28, 2024, in the Democratic Party Primary race for Fort Bend County Chairman.
After reviewing Jennifer Cantu’s most recently filed “CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORTS,” which were filed on 5/20/2024, I did not find a donation or payment of any kind made to Cantu by Ginyard of any amount.
“DUTY TO REPORT.”
In the spirit of public concern, local Democrats who are running for office on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, have a right to see the “BANK RECORDS” showing how the $5,000.00 expenditure made to Jennifer Cantu appeared to have been back-dated to 4/23, on the check, but “BANK RECORDS” seem to show 4/24, if my memory from glancing at the records serves me correctly.
I’m writing this report to compel Fred Taylor, the new Fort Bend County Chairman, to take what appears to be a “FRAUDULENT FINANCIAL TRANSACTION” that I’m referencing to the Texas Rangers or the local Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office (Brian Middleton) and allow the authorities to determine whether Cynthia M. Ginyard was involved in fraudulent activities while performing her duties as Chairman of the Fort Bend County Democratic Party.

Fort Bend County is blessed to have a District Attorney in Brian Middleton, who isn’t afraid to do his job. Therefore, I strongly encourage Fred Taylor to release the “BANK RECORDS” he’s believed to have to the Texas Rangers and allow them to do their job.
If the “BANK RECORDS” and supporting evidence I was allowed to review are authentic, which I believe they are, then there were some fraudulent transactions that the people of Fort Bend County have a right to know about.

Dan Simons will run for Harris County District Attorney against Sean Teare on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in what is expected to be an extremely close race.
“MEET DAN SIMONS.”
Dan Simons was born and raised in Southeast Texas. His family was impoverished and lived through the struggle of poverty. During his childhood, there were times when he was homeless and had no choice but to live in cars or tents to survive. Dan constantly faced problems and chaos in his family, ultimately being placed in foster care at a young age. He has four brothers and one sister, none of whom ever graduated high school, much like his parents.
At twelve, seeking stability to graduate high school, he made the tough decision to move in with a family he met through the Salvation Army. Through sheer determination and hard work, he graduated at the top of his class and was named All-District Quarterback in his senior high school. Dan became the first person in his family to graduate from high school.
After graduating high school in 1996, he joined the United States Air Force to serve his country.
In 2005, he moved back to Texas, intending to further his education and become a lawyer. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2008 at the top of his class. He went on to attend the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, graduating Magna Cum Laude in December of 2011. He received his Masters in Tax Law from the University of Houston in 2013.
As Assistant District Attorney, Dan handled thousands of cases. He tried 29 Misdemeanor Jury Trials and had five acquittals; 13 Felony Jury Trials and had only one acquittal; and 26 Justice of the Peace Court and Jury Trials. Dan's total conviction rate was 84%.
As a Misdemeanor Chief in Criminal Court No. 14, Dan Simons reduced the docket by over 200 cases in less than four months — a 20% reduction that reduced the court's burden and saved the county costs. In early 2017, he left the DA’s Office to work in private practice.
In 2018, he started his practice, Dan Simons Law Firm, focusing on criminal cases in Harris County, Fort Bend County, and Montgomery County, Texas.
“THE RIGHT MAN.”
Harris County has enough politicians. We need a Harris County District Attorney who isn’t afraid of political party bosses. We need a truth-seeking prosecutor – not a politician.
We need someone committed to restoring public safety, trust, and peace of mind in Harris County, Texas; Dan Simons is the right man for the job.
We need a Harris County DA who will protect the people, respect them, and give victims the justice they deserve; Dan Simons fits the bill, in my opinion.
Dan Simons is committed to ensuring that business owners receive equal protection under the law, enabling local communities to thrive rather than merely survive.
We’ve got some innocent citizens getting charged and convicted of crimes they may not have committed. With an honest man like Dan Simons as the Harris County District Attorney, wrongful convictions will decrease significantly, while lawbreakers can expect to receive the punishment they deserve.
Moreover, we can’t do anything about the past, but with Dan Simons as our District Attorney, addressing mistakes expeditiously rather than hiding them – could serve as a much-needed foundation to rebuild trust in our criminal justice system.
