HCC Board Will Evaluate Dr. Cesar Maldonado's Contract at 1pm, Today at 3100 Main Street in Houston, Texas

There are three African American females, three Latino females, and two white males sitting on the HCC School Board right now. That said, at 1:00pm today, Dr. Cynthia Lenton-Gary (District VII, Board Chairman), Monica Flores-Richart (District I, Vice Chairman), Eva L. Loredo (District VIII, Secretary), Dr. Adriana Tamez (District III), Dr. Reagan Flowers (District IV), Robert Glaser (District V), Dave Wilson (District VI), and Dr. Pretta VanDible Stallworth (District IX), must take a strong stance against racial discrimination and the corruption that has plagued (HCC) Houston Community College for far too long. (CLICK HERE) to view the "AGENDA" for yourself.

HCC Board Will Evaluate Dr. Cesar Maldonado's Contract, Performance at 1pm, Today at 3100 Main Street in Houston, Texas

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

According to one of my sources at (HCC) Houston Community College, there's a woman by the name of Narcisa Polonio, who is running around lobbying "THE CURRENT HCC TRUSTEES" to extend the contract of embattled HCC Chancellor Cesar Maldonado when they meet later today at 1:00 pm to "EVALUATE" his performance. That said, when these trustees meet later today, they should not even be considering the notion of extending Dr. Cesar Maldonado's contract!!! What should they be doing when they adjourn to a closed session pursuant to Texas Government Code Sections 551.071; 551.072 and 551.074, of the Open Meetings Act? Dr. Cynthia Lenton Gary, Monica Flores-Richart, Eva L. Loredo, Dr. Adriana Tamez, Dr. Reagan Flowers, Dave Wilson, and Dr. Pretta VanDible Stallworth all band together and vote to "CANCEL" his contract, not extend it.

HCC TRUSTEES SHOULD VOTE TO FIRE DR. CESAR MALDONADO TODAY

What’s going on guys? Come on!!! That $100 million race discrimination suit alleges that since this Dr. Cesar Maldonado dude took over the helm of HCC, “90% of the long-time Black professionals at HCC have either been terminated or demoted.” And it also details how there’s been a 50% increase in Hispanic hires and promotions since this dude has arrived.

Shockingly, that $100 million race discrimination suit goes on to claim, that while 90% of tenured and experienced Black employees have been displaced only 10% of similarly tenured Whites have been displaced. And what’s happening from within the HCC police department is just as bad – if not worse.

Dr. Cesar Maldonado should be fired and removed from his post as the Chancellor of (HCC) Houston Community College at his evaluation that's scheduled to take place today! Under no circumstances should "THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES" be allowing someone like Dr. Cesar Maldonado to come into their institution of higher learning talking about, “Now we [Hispanics] are going to receive preferential treatment,” as he’s claimed to have done in that $100 million racial discrimination lawsuit that’s been filed against him, HCC Trustee Robert Glaser, and the entire Houston Community College System. (CLICK HERE) to view the "AGENDA" for yourself.

Narcisa Polonio is the woman whom one of my sources claims is trying to lobby "THE HCC BOARD OF TRUSTEES" to extend Dr. Cesar Maldonado's contract later today. According to my source, she is with a firm called Greenwood/Asher & Associates, LLC, and is supposed to be some sort of consultant for (HCC) Houston Community College. (CLICK HERE) to view the "AGENDA" for yourself.

The HCC Board of Trustees should band together and vote to fire Dr. Cesar Maldonado during their closed session at their meeting that's scheduled to take place at 1pm. Now is the time for Dr. Cynthia Lenton Gary, Monica Flores-Richart, Eva L. Loredo, Dr. Adriana Tamez, Dr. Reagan Flowers, Dave Wilson, and Dr. Pretta VanDible Stallworth should show the world what "GOOD GOVERNANCE" and leadership looks like. Just yesterday, Federal Judge Lynn Hughes “GREEN-LIGHTED THE CASE” that has been filed against (HCC) Houston Community College, that's not going to end well for HCC or Dr. Cesar Maldonado. Why? Well, now that the $100 million dollars Racial Discrimination Lawsuit can proceed forward, the Plaintiffs have the right to engage in aggressive discovery efforts to prove their claims. Attorney Ben Hall has just cleared a major hurdle as Federal Judge Lynn Hughes just ruled that the $100 million racial discrimination lawsuit against HCC, Dr. Cesar Maldonado, and others will not be dismissed and will be permitted to proceed. Federal Court Rules $100 million racial discrimination lawsuit can proceed against (HCC) Houston Community College

HBC NEWSPAPER REPORTS©

Houston Community College has a major issue now! I’ve just obtained the “ORDER DENYING DISMISSAL” in the case of Zelia Brown versus Houston Community College, et al., Defendants.

In the last hour, Federal District Court Judge Lynne Hughes ruled that the $100 million racial discrimination lawsuit against HCC, Dr. Cesar Maldonado, and others will not be dismissed and will be permitted to proceed. The racial discrimination lawsuit alleges that under Cesar Maldonado’s leadership of the beleaguered community college Black employees have been systematically discriminated against in favor of less qualified Hispanics and people of other ethnicities. The lawsuit contains alarming allegations of Black employees being terminated after decades of constructive service to the college, false or questionable information being placed in the personnel files of black employees to set them up for termination, and the firing of the Black plaintiff when she reported unlawful use of grant funds—only to have her replaced by a Hispanic employee who admits to having no grant experience.

Now that the federal judge has “GREEN-LIGHTED THE CASE” it will proceed with the Plaintiffs having the right to engage in aggressive discovery efforts to prove their claims. Another companion racial discovery case in which over 120 additional Black HCC employees are suing the college is pending in the same federal courtroom.

Stay tuned to Houston Business Connections Newspaper©, for the latest in this ongoing saga.

Dr. Cynthia Lenton Gary, Ph.D., is the Board President at HCC right now. She's also one of the only people who can do something about what's happening at Houston Community College in terms of all of this 'alleged' corruption. Now, the guy you see on the right is a Former HCC Sergeant by the name of James Bailey who also happens to be a veteran of the United States Navy, according to his "SWORN AFFIDAVIT" that he's bravely stepped forward to provide. He's also someone who has direct knowledge of bodycam footage being destroyed at the HCC Police Department. That being said, inside his "SWORN AFFIDAVIT" he states, “And in the case of Corporal Portis’s bodycam footage of the incident involving Mrs. Gonzalez’s domestic violence complaint against her husband if that footage is now missing then based on what I know about what goes on in the HCC police department such disappearance is more likely the result of purposeful misconduct." (CLICK HERE) to read his affidavit for yourself.

A former HCC Sergeant by the name of James Bailey has now stepped forward to back up the account that was put forth by former HCC Officer Fredrick Portis in his "SWORN AFFIDAVIT" that he recounted in "PART ONE" and "PART TWO" of his sworn deposition. (CLICK HERE) to read former HCC Sergeant James Bailey's affidavit.

Startling Revelations from Insiders at the HCC Police Department Regarding Bodycam Footage Other Evidence Are Troubling

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

From the outside looking in, it’s hard to fathom how any learning is taking place at (HCC) Houston Community College these days. And it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to try and figure out how and why the ‘alleged’ love triangle between Dr. Cesar Maldonado, and Dr. Melissa Gonzalez, the wife of Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, and all of the other crap that’s happening at HCC, has for the most part gone unaddressed by Dr. Cynitha Lenton-Gary, the board president.

Most folks don’t even know that the “BOARD PRESIDENT” of HCC is a Black woman. Why? Well, Dr. Gary has been so quiet on the issues that matter, that it’s almost like the cat has her tongue or something.

Man, you would think that Black women, especially Black women as strong, bold, and courageous as Dr. Cynthia Lenton Gary, Dr. Pretta VanDible Stallworth, and Dr. Reagan Flowers, would have already stepped forward and done something by now. After all, what good is it for us to have “BLACK ELECTED OFFICIALS” occupying space on school boards if they don’t give a damn about us?

Now, don’t get me wrong, we need diversity. And we need women in positions of authority. And yes, we need Black and Brown coalitions too. But the people we’re entrusting to stand up for us must do their jobs, or get out of the way.

Under no circumstances should we be allowing someone like Dr. Cesar Maldonado to come into an institution of higher learning like HCC talking about, “Now we [Hispanics] are going to receive preferential treatment,” like he’s claimed to have done in that $100 million racial discrimination lawsuit that’s been filed against him, HCC Trustee Robert Glaser, and the entire Houston Community College System.

If you haven’t listened to "PART ONE" and "PART TWO"  of former HCC Police Officer Fredrick Portis’ “DEPOSITION” already, I strongly suggest that you take a moment to do so. Officer Portis, in my opinion, is one of the most courageous people I’ve seen turn “WHISTLEBLOWER” in a very long time. His accounts of what happened inside Dr. Cesar Maldonado’s office on the 12th Floor of the administrative building have now been corroborated by several different members of law enforcement.

A NEW AFFIDAVIT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED BY FORMER HCC SERGEANT JAMES BAILEY REGARDING INFORMATION IN OFFICER FREDRICK PORTIS’ AFFIDAVIT

Former HCC Sergeant James Bailey, who also happens to be a veteran of the United States Navy has come to the defense of former HCC Police Officer Fredrick Portis.

Inside his “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” former HCC Sergeant James Bailey details how he’s worked in law enforcement since 1988 with some time off for military service and other employment opportunities. He also talked about how he’s obtained “secret clearance” with the federal government, “I have served as a Special Deputy Marshall with the U.S. Marshal’s Office and provided protective services in the federal courthouse building located at Rusk Street in Houston,” he said on (PAGE ONE) of his affidavit.

“While working as a sergeant in the police department at Houston Community College, I had plenty of occasions to work with both HCC Officer Frederick Portis and HCC Sergeant David Moore,” he explained on (PAGE THREE) of his affidavit.

Former HCC Sergeant James Bailey stated, “When I returned to work for Houston Community College in 2018, I had Corporal Portis working alongside me. While interviewing Corporal Portis to gauge his needs for mentoring and advancement, Corporal Portis advised me that he was having issues trying to get classes and advancement.” Sergeant Bailey went on to explain on (PAGE TWO) of “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” that, Officer Fredrick Portis had revealed to him that he believed that he was not advancing within the HCC Police Department because of the investigation he’d conducted that involved Dr. Melissa Gonzalez’s complaint of “DOMESTIC VIOLENCE” against her husband, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

FIRSTHAND ACCOUNTS OF CORRUPTION FROM WITHIN THE HCC POLICE DEPARTMENT

According to the “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” that has been brought forward by Sergeant James Bailey, “HCC Sergeant David Moore, Lieutenant John Brooke, and Captain John Boxie all have access to recorded bodycam footage and access to either copy or delete recordings.”

“I personally know of an incident where HCC police bodycam footage of an incident was actually captured because I saw and reviewed the footage after the incident occurred, only for me to later find that the footage was missing or could not be found,” said Sergeant Bailey on (PAGE 3) of his affidavit.

“How or why, that incriminating video went missing has gone unexplained to this day even though it actually was present in the stored HCC backup bodycam footage when I saw it with my own eyes,” he explains. Sergeant Bailey went on to state, “To be clear, it has been my experience that HCC Police bodycam footage can be, and has been, selectively caused to go missing, misplaced, or even been deleted without explanation or for legitimate law enforcement reasons.”

And in regards to Officer Frederick Portis’ bodycam footage that currently needs to be seen by U.S. Senators, he states, “And in the case of Corporal Portis’s bodycam footage of the incident involving Mrs. Gonzalez’s domestic violence complaint against her husband, if that footage is now missing then based on what I know about what goes on in the HCC police department such disappearance is more likely the result of purposeful misconduct,” he explains.

“I also know that Sergeant David Moore is capable of not being forthcoming with the truth.”

Sergeant James Bailey closed out his “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” by stating, “In a case in which I was involved, Sergeant Moore was less than completely truthful. Sergeant Moore should know the whereabouts of Corporal Portis’s bodycam footage of Mrs. Gonzalez’s incident because he holds a position in HCC IAD to be able to access bodycam footage.” He went on to say, “If called as a witness, I will truthfully repeat the above facts to a jury and/or judge under oath, so help me God!”

A former HCC Officer by the name of Kimberly Mason has now stepped forward to back up the accounts put forward by former HCC Officer Fredrick Portis in his "SWORN AFFIDAVIT" that he recounted in his "PART ONE" and "PART TWO" " of his deposition. (CLICK HERE) to read former HCC Police Officer Kimberly Mason's affidavit.

AFFIDAVIT OF FORMER HCC POICE OFFICER KIMBERLY MASON ALSO APPEARS TO BACK UP OFFICER PORTIS’ AFFIDAVIT

According to Former HCC Police Officer Kimberly Mason, she was employed by the Houston Community College Police Department for 4-years. “While employed in the HCC police department, I personally witnessed and overheard a conversation HCC Police Officer Fredrick Portis was having with another HCC police officer in the Officer Ready Room (this is the room where the armory, body cameras, body camera docking stations, and hand-held radios were kept),” she explained on (PAGE ONE) of her affidavit.

Officer Kimberly Mason, went on to explain, “Just outside the Ready Room is a metal roll-up door with a counter which officers use to hand off equipment to supervisors before and after shifts.” According to Officer Mason, “When I overheard Portis’s conversation with the other officer, the roll-up doors were down and the entrance to the Ready Room door was locked with assigned key access. However, you can still hear conversations quite well through the roll-up door,” she explained on (PAGE TWO) of her affidavit.

“I clearly heard Officer Portis say the following: “This is above my pay grade.” He began to explain to the other person that he, Officer Portis, had received a police call as a “theft” call, however, upon arriving at the scene he was advised it was a domestic violence report with HCC Chancellor Cesar Maldonado that involved Mrs. Gonzalez being physically abused at home by her husband.”

Officer Kimberly Mason goes on to explain in her “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” how she overheard Officer Fredrick Portis say, “At that point, I was unaware who Mrs. Gonzalez was and who her husband was.”

According to Officer Mason, as she continued to listen, she overheard Officer Portis state to the other person, something to the effect of, “like huh what the fuck is this? How did I get involved in this?”

Officer Portis went on to explain, how, Dr. Cesar Maldonado, according to Officer Fredrick Portis abused his power when he stated something to the effect of, “you know I’m your boss?”

On (PAGE TWO) of her “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” Officer Kimberly Mason states, “Portis’s body camera video of the incident should be found and located inside the ready room where cameras are docked to upload footage. And she also stated, “If called as a witness, in this case, I will truthfully repeat the above facts to a jury/and or the judge/court under oath, so help me God.”

Master Peace Officer Michael Bolton, who is a Former HCC Sergeant courageously stepped forward yesterday, Wednesday, April 6, 2022, to corroborate former HCC Police Officer Fredrick Portis' affidavit about Dr. Melissa Gonzalez's domestic violence claim against her husband, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. That being said, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, is the man President Joe Biden has nominated to serve as the director of ICE, the Immigration and Customs Agency.

A Second HCC Officer Has Now Come Forward to Corroborate the Portis affidavit about Sheriff’s Domestic Violence

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Did you believe the “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” that was put forth by former HCC Police Officer Fredrick Portis, in regards to the actions of Sheriff Ed Gonzalez’s wife, Dr. Melissa Gonzalez, and her boss, Dr. Cesar Maldonado at his office? Well, if not, you need to brace yourself. Why? Well, a second officer has now stepped forth to corroborate the “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” that was put forth by former HCC Police Officer Fredrick Portis. Late last night I obtained the “SWORN AFFIDAVIT OF MASTER PEACE OFFICER AND FORMER HCC SERGEANT MICHAEL BOLTON” which confirms many of the assertions that have been brought to light by former HCC Police Officer Fredrick Portis.

According to his “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” Master Peace Officer Michael Bolton has worked as an HCC police officer for nearly 14 years – from 2008 to the present. Since being hired, he’s held a number of positions and has been responsible for such things as, supervising sworn and non-sworn personnel within the HCC Police Department. His duties have also included observing, evaluating, documenting, and assessing the work of his subordinates within the department.

Master Peace Officer Michael Bolton, according to his “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” has also developed and prepared programs, procedures, directives, and staff reports within the department; served on the HCC rifle team, honor guard, field training officer, and as a mentor to other HCC police officers.

“I have personally observed and assessed the behavior, professionalism, competence, judgment, and law enforcement acumen of other officers within the department,” stated Master Peace Officer Michael Bolton, on (PAGE 2) of his sworn affidavit. “I also have observed in detail how the HCC police department handles a number of matters, including the handling of bodycam videos,” he goes on to say.

“I have personally worked with former HCC Officer Frederick Portis. In all of my dealings with Officer Portis he demonstrated a high level of integrity, truthfulness, and honesty,” said Master Peace Officer Michael Bolton on (PAGE 2) of his sworn affidavit.

“I have watched Officer Portis make the difficult choice of speaking the truth to others even when other police officers would have thought that the professional code (“blue code”) among officers would have recommended he not tell on a fellow officer or keep quiet,” explained Master Police Officer Michael Bolton on (PAGE 2) of his sworn affidavit.

Master Peace Officer Michael Bolton went on to say, “It took real integrity for Officer Portis to stand tall and tell the truth rather than merely remain silent and walk away. I gained much respect for Portis and if he said something happened, then it did. That is the type of person I found him to be,” explained Bolton.

“I have personal knowledge, and have observed the HCC police department mishandle, mix-up, lose, and/or misfile police officer bodycam footage,” explains Bolton on (PAGE 2) of his sworn affidavit.

He also explains how some of the efforts were for legitimate and illegitimate purposes. “Occasionally, “lost” police bodycam videos are not immediately assigned to the right cases and thus were misfiled or not filed at all,” Bolton claims on (PAGE 2) of his sworn affidavit. “In fact, lost bodycam footage happened in one of my cases,” he explains on (PAGE 3) of his sworn affidavit.

“How or why that happened is still puzzling to me, especially since I carried out all the steps required to upload the footage when I docked my camera,” he says. “I can testify based on personal experience within the HCC police department that it was not unusual for bodycam video to be misplaced even though an officer did everything necessary and expected to save such footage,” said Bolton.

He goes on to say, “Stated bluntly, HCC bodycam was a consistent mess and disorganized operation. And, I know this to be true because I actually supervised hundreds of HCC officers who wore body cameras and repeatedly heard complaints about lost, missing, deleted videos.

On (PAGE 3) of his “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” Master Peace Officer Michael Bolton states, “When Officer Portis says he docked his bodycam video of his encounter with Chancellor Cesar Maldonado and Melissa Gonzalez, I believe him.” And he went on to say, “And if someone claims they cannot now locate any such bodycam video at HCC it is more probable than not the result of the mishandling of the video or a deliberate action to delete it.

“What is particularly troubling to me about Officer Portis’ encounter is that this was such a high-profile event that the footage would have certainly gained high-level attention and should have been saved and preserved,” he explained on (PAGE 3) of his sworn affidavit.

According to his “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” on (PAGE 3) Master Peace Officer Michael Bolton goes on to declare, “To claim such a video is now missing is simply unbelievable. And base on my years of experience in the department such a video would have gained the attention of the Chief of Police, Greg Cunningham, David Moore, John Boxie, and definitely Chancellor Maldonado. (CLICK HERE) to read the full “SWORN AFFIDAVIT” of Master Peace Officer and former HCC Sergeant Michael Bolton.

Zelia Brown (far left), was forced to take a leave of absence when she complained about missing grant money at Houston Community College. So, what's really been going on at HCC since Dr. Cesar Maldonado took over as Chancellor? And what are the Black female HCC Trustees doing to make things better? I mean, when Black folks cast their ballot for people Dr. Pretta VanDible Stallworth, Dr. Cynthia Lenton-Gary, and Dr. Reagan Flowers, it's with the notion that these people are going to look out for our best interests. But once these people are elected to office, they oftentimes end up missing in action when it comes to issues of importance to the Black Community. According to this $100 million dollar lawsuit, when Dr. Cesar Maldonado was approved as the new Chancellor of HCC in 2014, he came armed with a racially discriminatory agenda. The lawsuit details how Chancellor Maldonado 'allegedly' used his position to adopt a "transformation" plan for (HCC) Houston Community College which disproportionately impacted Black employees and Black employment and advancement and/or hire at the college. Blacks Are Getting Shortchanged by Continuing to Elect The Same Black People to Public Office Over and Over Again

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS

By the year 2026, it's going to become much more difficult to elect Black people to public office in Harris County, Texas countywide. But you don't have to take my word for it. All you have to do is look at what's going on at (HCC) Houston Community College right now. Or better yet, look at what has already happened in the construction industry. When is the last time that you've seen a cluster of Black men working on a construction project?

THE CURRENT OPEN BORDERS POLICIES ARE NOT WORKING OUT WELL FOR BLACKS

The open border policies being implemented right now aren't going to end well for Black people. Why? Well, because many of the illegals that are being allowed to enter America illegally are already of voting age. And once they're registered to vote, many are not going to scroll down their ballots looking to vote for Black people. What they're going to do is scroll down their ballot and vote for "REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES" and "DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES" with Hispanic/Latino surnames. Thus, Black candidates vying for office as early as the 2026 Midterm Elections will find themselves with little to no support and unable to turn back the hands of time.

BLACK VOTERS MUST WAKE UP AND ELECT STRONGER LEADERS GOING FORWARD

A $100 million dollar racial discrimination lawsuit was filed in Houston, Texas on behalf of hundreds of Black former and present employees of Houston Community College (“HCC”). The suit was filed back on Friday, June 19, 2020 – “Juneteenth — the anniversary date that Black slaves in Texas learned they had been freed from slavery two years earlier by President Abraham Lincoln. The lawsuit detailed a damning list of allegations about what was going on at Houston Community College under the leadership of Chancellor Cesar Maldonado and the Human Resources Director, Ms. Janet May. According to the lawsuit, Dr. Cesar Maldonado accepted his position in 2014 with a Hispanic “preferential treatment” agenda. The suit contains an actual email chain created shortly after Maldonado’s appointment stating “Now we [Hispanics] are going to receive preferential treatment.” The suit alleges that since Maldonado’s arrival 90% of the long-time Black professionals at HCC have either been terminated or demoted, while there has been a 50% increase in Hispanic hires and promotions. Shockingly, the suit claims, that while 90% of tenured and experienced Black employees have been displaced only 10% of similarly tenured Whites have been displaced.

The lawsuit continues with a disturbing list of tactics used by Maldonado and May to get rid of Blacks, such as telling a Black male that a white woman’s word was more truthful than his word; that if a White person complains believe them, but if a Black person complains doubt them unless corroborated; “padding” Black employee personnel files with false complaints to be used later as pretexts for firing them; if a Black person is accused of sexual harassment, believe the complainant—but if the complaint is made by a Black person corroborate; using the term “transformation” as a cover for getting rid of Black employees, and forcing Black employees to take leaves of absence without cause to later use as grounds to terminate the Black employee. If these allegations are proven in court, HCC is in for a bad day at the courthouse.

The named plaintiff in the lawsuit is a 55-year old Black female, Zelia Brown, who was forced to take a leave of absence when she complained about missing grant money at the College. She reported to the federal government, the suit alleges, that the grant funds had been misused or taken. After the federal investigators notified HCC officials they were going to investigate Ms. Brown’s allegations, she was immediately told not to return to work and to stay on leave of absence. Her locked grant office is said to have been rummaged through while she was on a leave of absence. Although HCC is said to have later asked her back the return was conditioned on her accepting a false complaint that she had created a hostile work environment and presumably remain silent about the missing grant dollars. She refused to remain silent and brought the suit.

Ms. Brown is asking the court to approve a class action against HCC on behalf of all Black employees who have been terminated or demoted since Maldonado became chancellor in 2014. It is estimated the number of class members will be in the hundreds with each member seeking individual damages in the case. Ms. Brown is represented in the lawsuit by Benjamin L. Hall, III, the former Houston City Attorney under Mayor Bob Lanier and former mayoral candidate. Hall stated, “Ms. Brown is one of the more recent casualties of what appears to be a modern-day Jim Crow environment at Houston Community College for Black executives. She is a brave lady to stand up to power and speak the truth. We feel confident there are more victims of HCC’s discriminatory policies that will come forward to tell their stories as well.”

Black folks are being discriminated against at Houston Community College, according to a $100 million dollar racial discrimination lawsuit that's working its way through the federal courts. For the record, the lawsuit detailed a damning list of allegations about what was going on at Houston Community College under the leadership of Chancellor Cesar Maldonado and the Human Resources Director, Ms. Janet May.

Zelia Brown is one of the plaintiffs in the $100 million racial discrimination lawsuit. She was forced to take a leave of absence when she complained about missing grant money at the College.

Dr. Pretta VanDible Stallworth, Ph.D., PMP, is one of my favorite "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in all of Harris County, Texas. I'm sure that her heart is in the right place. I don't believe that she would take part in any type of corruption, kickbacks, or schemes.

Dr. Reagan Flowers, Ph.D. is one of my favorite "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in all of Harris County, Texas. I'm sure that her heart is in the right place. I don't believe that she would take part in any type of corruption, kickbacks, or schemes. But what good is she, if she's not going to publicly denounce what's going on at Houston Community College? She currently serves as the District IV Trustee.

"I am happy to announce my endorsement of Vidal Martinez for Harris County Judge. Over the last six months, I was able to get to know Vidal and the other candidates for County Judge quite well, and he is easily the most qualified candidate in the run-off election race and our best chance at beating Lina Hidalgo. As Republicans, we all know and agree on the major issues and shortcomings at Commissioners Court, and Vidal Martinez will be ready to execute change on day one. His experience as a federal prosecutor, time spent serving as Houston Port Commissioner and Greater Houston Partnership board member, as well as his tenure on the Methodist Hospital System Board means that he will not need any on-the-job training and can hit the ground running. Vidal Martinez is the leader we need to bring common sense back to Harris County, and he has my full support. I urge you to join me in voting for Vidal Martinez for Harris County Judge on May 24th."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Now is the time when our love for America must prevail. It is incumbent upon us to elect "PUBLIC SERVANTS" who understand that they work for us. We need "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in office who love "OUR CONSTITUTION" and the ideals that our nation was founded upon by our forefathers. We must make it our collective effort to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this crucial moment in time."

Favoritism and Party Politics Have No Place Inside Our Harris County Courtrooms

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

At the end of the day, the judicial races are the most important races on the ballot. That said, who we allow to put on that black robe and occupy judicial benches (especially in Harris County, Texas) matters a great deal. Over the years, through straight-ticket voting, and folks going into the polls playing "Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe" we've allowed a few bad folks to slip through the cracks. Now, I'm not trying to play party politics in any way, shape, or form, with my words. All I'm trying to say is that nobody is perfect, but if we make it our goal to elevate people who fear God and have a backbone into positions of authority, every one of us will be afforded the opportunity to live our best life.
