Judge Lashawn Williams, Judge Angela Graves Harrington, Judge Shannon Baldwin, Judge Tonya Jones, and Judge Toria J. Sixty-eight local Judicial Benches Will Be Up for Grabs in Harris County, Texas, for the 2026 Midterm Election

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

The mainstream media won't tell you that my "ENDORSEMENT BOARD" issued (36) thirty-six endorsements in down-ballot judicial races on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Of the (36) thirty-six endorsements we made, only (9) nine of the candidates we endorsed lost their races, which means "OUR ENDORSEMENT" was the most powerful in Harris County, Texas.

If Mike Doyle, the chairman and treasurer for the Harris County Democratic Party, had done his job, Judge Elaine Palmer, who only lost by 304 votes, and Judge Jeralynn Manor, who only lost by 647 votes, may have both won. That said, I've started receiving phone calls from candidates seeking to challenge African American females in the 2026 Midterm Election. Really???  We have yet to make it to Christmas, and folks are getting set to decide what judicial benches they will run for in the 2026 Midterms.

While most of the phone calls I've received have focused on "DEMOCRATIC JUDGES," potential candidates must realize that there will be (68) sixty-eight local benches up for grabs in the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election.
