GOP Executive Director Casey Voeks Announces Full Support of Montiel, Leon, Monroe at Press Conference Yesterday
AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©
What happened yesterday outside the GOP headquarters, was a beautiful thing in my opinion. While many Republicans wanted to sweep the incident that occurred last week at the GOP headquarters under the rug and keep it quiet, it was great to see Casey Voeks, the executive director of the Harris County Republican Party step up to the plate and join Carmen Maria Montiel, the GOP Candidate for the 18th Congressional District, Jimmy Leon, the GOP Candidate for the 9th Congressional District, and Gerry Wayne Monroe, the GOP Candidate for State Representative for (HD-131), and other GOP Leaders in a show of solidarity.
I’ve respected Casey Voeks from the first day I met him at the GOP headquarters. He and Cindy Siegel have assembled the most diverse ballot of Republican “JUDICIAL NOMINEES” ever assembled by the Harris County Republican Party in my opinion.
Cindy Siegel and Casey Voeks should be very proud of their accomplishments.
The entire GOP family should be very proud of Cindy Siegel and the leadership she displayed since taking the reigns of a GOP that was mired in debt, and tension as two factions struggled for control of the party from within – but those days appear to be long gone from what I can see.
The GOP appears to be experiencing a few growing pains here and there, but for the most part, Cindy Siegel, Casey Voeks, the executive director, and Genevieve Carter, appear to be doing their best as they endeavor to uniquely position their candidates and their party during these turbulent political times.
From what I can see, the GOP could be on the verge of doing something really special on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, when they put their plan to reclaim Harris County to the test.
“My name is Carmen Maria Montiel, and I am the U.S. Congressional District 18, Republican Candidate for this coming election on November 8th -- the critical Midterms,” she stated. “As a ‘PROUD AMERICAN’ Texan, and Latina, I am fortunate to be representing the Republican Party in the coming election.”

“The Republican Party represents Faith, Family, ‘LOVE OF COUNTRY,’ and Freedom which are the same values shared by Latinos,” said Montiel.

Carmen Maria Montiel went on to address the fact that she had received an open invitation to attend the press conference at the GOP Headquarters on Thursday of last week. “Today we are here to address what happened last Thursday at the Harris County Republican Party Headquarters,” she explained.
“I received an email invitation that was sent out to Republican candidates and members of the Republican Party for the 11:30 am Press Conference last Thursday morning.”
Montiel went on to explain how grateful she was that the GOP was holding a press conference on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and holding them accountable for their ‘massive illegal spying and influence operations’ nationwide. “The Houston CCP Consulate was closed in July 2020 by Secretary Pompeo,” she said.
“As a former journalist and Telemundo anchor, I was proud that our great local news stations filmed from helicopters the burning of CCP documents in their courtyard,” she went on to say.
According to Montiel, “Right now, Latinos are the growing majority in Houston, Texas, and are the majority in CD 18.” She went on to talk about how the GOP has a “GREAT OPPORTUNITY” to grow with the Latino community, but also with people from all races and religious affiliations.”
“Blacks, Asians, Moderate Democrats, and Independents should all feel welcome and be a part of “THE NEW HARRIS COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY,” according to Carmen Maria Montiel.
I can’t express how proud I am of Carmen Montiel Maria Montiel, Casey Voeks, Jimmy Leon, Bert Keller (former City Councilman), Johnathan McCullough (Founder of the Urban Conservatives), Jeff McGeorge, (Harris County Republican Party “Precinct Chair” for Precinct #548) and everyone else who attended the press conference on Monday, September 12, 2022, to call for unity and push the Harris County GOP forward toward the Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Midterm Election.
A NEW AVENUE
According to Carmen Maria Montiel, the Harris County Republican Party has a new avenue forward. And the GOP as a whole must seize the opportunity that lies before them. “The Republican Party has a new avenue to pursue," she says.
“We have an immediate opportunity to grow our base and take Harris County, Texas back right now as “A PROUD UNIFIED FAMILY” of conservatives who all share the same values and beliefs.”

"Now is the time when our love for America must prevail. So, it is incumbent upon us to elect "PUBLIC SERVANTS" who understand that they work for us. We need "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in office who love "OUR CONSTITUTION" and the ideals that our nation was founded upon by our forefathers. That being said, we must make it our collective effort to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this pivotal moment in the history of our great nation."
