Early Voting for the HCAD Runoffs Begins on Monday, June 3, 2024; Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Could Resign

Melissa Noriega (top left) is approved by the (HCDP) in the nonpartisan runoff race for HCAD, Director At-Large, Place 2. Kyle Scott (top center) is approved by the (HCRP) in the nonpartisan runoff race for HCAD, Director At-Large, Place 2. Pelumi Adeleke (bottom left) is approved by the (HCDP), in the nonpartisan runoff race for HCAD, Director At-Large, Place 3. And Ericka McCrutcheon (bottom center) is approved by the (HCRP) in the nonpartisan runoff race for HCAD, Director At-Large, Place 3. Early voting will begin on Monday, June 3, 2024, and end on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Election day voting will occur on Saturday, June 15, 2024. WORSENING CONDITIONS... The Honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee has been spotted using a walking cane to stabilize herself as she continues to contemplate when to relinquish her 18th Congressional District seat after her alleged pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (left) was spotted using a walking cane to brace herself as her fragile body continues to weaken following her alleged pancreatic cancer diagnosis. After being spotted using a walking cane while talking to VFW National Legislative Committee Member Victor Ramirez on Memorial Day, the Honorable Congresswoman appeared to be noticeably grimacing as she moved about in the sweltering summer heat in H-Town.

I’m Aubrey R. Taylor, the Houston Business Connections Newspaper publisher and investigative reporter. I have conducted investigations in Harris County, Texas, since the 1990s and plan to closely monitor the “ABSENTEE BALLOT FLOW” between now and Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the upcoming Presidential Election in Harris County, Texas.

Early Voting for the HCAD Runoffs Begins on Monday, June 3, 2024; Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Could Resign Soon

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

As of today (Thursday, May 30, 2024), Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s campaign team still has not confirmed or denied the reports that the Honorable Congresswoman has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. However, the fact that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee is now walking with the aid of a walking cane is proof that her condition is worsening.

“Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee is looking bad,” said one local Black Leader.

“What’s going on with Sheila,” asked another.

Another local Black leader talked off the record about how people had to help the Honorable Congresswoman move about when she attended the funeral of the late civil rights icon and local pastor of the historic Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church last week.

Whether you believe my sources or not, anyone with eyes should be able to see that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, the world-renowned U.S. Representative for the 18th Congressional District of Texas, is struggling and in pain as she moves about in these sweltering summer temperatures in H-Town.

In the spirit of fairness, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee faces three opponents on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in her reelection bid. If she remains on the ballot, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee may be able to defeat her hungry opponents. But, what’s playing out right now is highly unfair to the Honorable Congresswoman’s 18th Congressional District constituents.

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the Republican nominee will be Lana Centonze, running for the 18th Congressional District of Texas. Vince Duncan, who has challenged Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee several times, will run as an Independent candidate on the ballot. A person by the name of Ed Atkinson will be on the ballot representing the Veterans Party.

As an elected official, it’s vitally essential for your constituents to know how you are doing healthwise. As a believer, which I believe Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee professes to be, I think it’s crucial for “THE BODY OF CHRIST” to offer prayers to fellow believers.

It is unclear why Congresswoman Lee’s campaign still has not notified the general public of her health condition. Remember back in 2012, when Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee revealed that she had fully recovered from breast cancer after she had undergone treatment, and had fully recovered? It took the Honorable Congresswoman nearly a year to address the issue in public back then.

“EAR TO THE STREETS.”

I will keep my ear to the street and continue to follow this story. However, with photos of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee being spotted walking with a cane, I’m not sure what timetable the Jackson Lee camp is working on.

Sources close to this matter tell me that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee could resign as the U.S. Representative for the 18th Congressional District before “LABOR DAY,” Monday, September 2, 2024.

After being spotted using a walking cane while talking to VFW National Legislative Committee Member Victor Ramirez on Memorial Day, the Honorable Congresswoman is beginning to provide us all with visible images that force us all to embrace the fact that the end of a storied political career could be coming to an end.

“HCAD RUNOFFS.”

Believe it or not, another election is about to get underway next week. On Monday, June 3, 2024, the (HCAD) Harris Central Appraisal District “UNIFORM RUNOFF ELECTION” will begin the early voting period.

Early voting will continue through Tuesday, June 11, 2024, with “ELECTION DAY” voting on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Harris County, Texas.

The deadline to apply for a “BALLOT BY MAIL” is Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

With local politics becoming increasingly divisive, I’m elected to “STANDDOWN” on the HCAD runoff elections and not make any endorsements as the “HCRP” Harris County Republican Party and the “HCDP” interject themselves into these nonpartisan runoff races.

The Harris County Republican Party has endorsed Kyle Scott in the race for (HCAD), Director, At-Large, Place 2. In case you don’t remember, Kyle Scott received 25,416 votes, or 46.50%, to emerge from the general election in the first place.

The Harris County Democratic Party has endorsed Melissa Noriega in the race for (HCAD), Director, At-Large, Place 2. Melissa Noriega received 13,647 votes, for 24.97%, to finish as the runner-up in the general election and force a runoff in this race.

In the race for (HCAD), Director, At-Large, Place 3, the Harris County Republican Party has endorsed Ericka McCutcheon. In case you don’t remember, Ericka McCrutcheon received 22,365 votes, for 41.24%, to emerge from the general election in first place in this race.

The Harris County Democratic Party has endorsed Pelumi Adeleke in the race for (HCAD), Director, At-Large, Place 3. Pelumi Adeleke received 11,553 votes, for 21.30%, to finish as the runner-up in the general election and force a runoff in this race.

“CLOSING THOUGHTS.”

In the general election (Saturday, May 4, 2024), the Houston Business Connections Newspaper endorsed Kyle Scott and Ericka McCutcheon in their respective races. However, given how divisive and polarizing local politics have become, we are not endorsing any candidates this time.

On behalf of Aubrey R. Taylor Communications, the publisher of Houston Business Connections Newspaper, I would like to wish Kyle Scott (Republican), Melissa Noriega (Democrat), Ericka McCutcheon (Republican), and Pelumi Adeleke (Democrat) the best in their endeavor to win their respective races for HCAD, Director, At-Large, Place 2, and HCAD, Director, At-Large, Place 3, on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Harris County, Texas.

Molly Cook defeated Jarvis Johnson by 74 votes on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024; Dallas Jones and Jarvis Johnson’s Plan Failed

State Rep. Jarvis Johnson (right) had his hopes of becoming a State Senator snatched from him last night (Tuesday, May 28, 2024) by newly elected State Senator Molly Cook. Below is a timeline of how State Senator Molly Cook hawked Jarvis Johnson down and defeated him by 74 votes last night.

“TIMELINE TO VICTORY.”

At 7:00 p.m., Jarvis Johnson had 5,636 votes, 51.67%, and Molly Cook had 5,272 votes, 48.33%. Molly trailed Jarvis Johnson by 364 votes at 7:00 p.m., as Jarvis Johnson began celebrating.

At 8:51 p.m., Jarvis Johnson had 5,652 votes, 51.70%, and Molly Cook had 5,280 votes, 48.30%. Molly trailed Jarvis by 372 votes at 8:51 p.m., as Jarvis Johnson became confident that victory was near.

At 9:47 p.m., Jarvis Johnson had 6,030 votes, 51.46%, and Molly had 5,688 votes, 48.54%. Molly trailed Jarvis Johnson by 342 votes at 9:47 p.m., as the watch party for Jarvis Johnson started rocking.

At 10:55 p.m., Jarvis Johnson had 8,252 votes, 51.60%, and Molly had 7,739 votes, 48.40%. Molly trailed Jarvis Johnson by 513 votes at 10:55 p.m., as Jarvis Johnson started to smell himself.

At 11:50 p.m., Jarvis Johnson had 9,215 votes, 49.93%, and Molly had 9,239 votes, 50.07%. Molly pulled ahead of Jarvis Johnson by 24 votes at 11:50 p.m., as Jarvis Johnson started to look a little worried.

At 1:35 a.m., Jarvis Johnson had 9,354 votes, 49.81%, and Molly had 9,427 votes, 50.19%. Molly pulled a few more votes ahead of Jarvis Johnson by 73 votes at 1:35 p.m., as time began to run out on Jarvis.

At 3:08 p.m., Jarvis Johnson had 9,354 votes, 49.80%, and Molly had 9,428 votes, 50.20%. Molly trailed Jarvis Johnson by 74 votes at 3:08 p.m., as Jarvis Johnson came with 74 votes of becoming the State Senator for District 15 but went home a loser.

Private Investigators were monitoring Dallas Jones, the owner of Elite Change, in 2020 when he was allegedly picked up by the FBI from his home. Any political candidate who uses Dallas Jones in the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election cycle is a fool.

Political Consultant Dallas Jones was spotted creeping out of the morning worship service at The Fountain of Praise Church Service -- instead of campaigning for the Biden Campaign. In the photo series above, Dallas Jones leaves his wife and young daughter sitting alone in the front row. It is still being determined precisely when Dallas Jones returned to the scene. But it's hard to understand why Dallas Jones, who was supposed to be the Texas Political Director for the Joe Biden for President Campaign, didn't post anything on his social media pages about the final debate or how things were going on the campaign trail during the week that he is believed to have been talking to the Feds.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

It wasn’t a coincidence that State Rep. Jarvis Johnson got the life snatched out of his political future last night. No matter how you flip the coin, the people of Senate District 15 avoided a train wreck last night. Sure, newly elected State Senator Molly Cook needs to gain experience. But it’s better to have a member of the LGBTQ+IA community in the state senate than an egotistical, no-good career politician with no morals or humility about himself.

“ANOTHER BIG LOSER.”

I understand that Dallas Jones, the owner of Elite Change, and some of his buddies are fuming mad at my investigative team and me for exposing his dirty ways. As I’ve said many times before, Dallas Jones is trash, and if he thinks I’m afraid of him talking about trying to sue me for telling the truth about him, he has another thing coming.

The practice of using our courtrooms as political battlefields must stop. That said, Dallas Jones doesn’t realize I know much more about his “BALLOT HARVESTING OPERATION” than I’ve released.

Dallas Jones knows that getting paid to work behind the scenes to help State Rep. Jarvis Johnson try to defeat newly elected State Senator Molly Cook is a ‘no-no’ if it’s a coordinated effort. He also knows a source paid him to support at least one other candidate behind the scenes, with whom he also spoke on several occasions to coordinate efforts – which is illegal.

The only issue with Dallas Jones (Elite Change) getting paid to assist State Rep. Jarvis Johnson is that he and Jarvis were not supposed to coordinate their efforts under any circumstances.

What occurred last night (Tuesday, May 28th, 2024) in the race for State Senate District 15 was an epic failure for State Rep. Jarvis Johnson and Dallas Jones. This epic failure proves that Dallas Jones is trash as a consultant, just like I’ve been proclaiming for years.

Any political candidate who uses Dallas Jones between now and Tuesday, November 5th, 2024, is a fool and has no business getting elected to public office. Listen. There’s a good reason why Dallas Jones no longer publicly lists his political clients on his website. What’s the reason?

Over several decades, Dallas Jones has involved himself in some election contests where the final results have been questionable. I won’t go into detail on the specific races at this time. However, Dallas Jones and the politicians aligned with him know which races I’m referring to.

Another issue that any politicians who hire Dallas Jones in the future must understand is that the information I’m relying upon related to Dallas Jones getting allegedly picked up by the FBI is rock solid and was provided to me by private investigators, one of whom is a former FBI Investigative Specialist, who trained federal agents.

“DATES OF INTEREST.”

According to former FBI Investigative Specialist Charles Marler, on October 14th and 15th of 2020, authorities seized evidence from an alleged ballot harvester in Harris County, Texas.

On October 16th, 2020, the investigative team monitoring Dallas Jones noticed that most poll workers needed to be added to their polling stations.

On October 17th, 2020, Dallas Jones’ closest friends were in a panic on social media regarding the FBI picking up Dallas Jones that Saturday morning.

On Sunday, Dallas Jones (or someone pretending to be Dallas Jones) told two stories on social media. First, he (or someone with access to his social media account) tried to make it look like he was at church receiving an award, but he was not,” said Marler.

“Then, he said he went to the Hamptons for his birthday weekend,” explained Marler.

Whatever the case, Dallas Jones has not been the same since his alleged encounter with the FBI. The defeat of Jarvis Johnson on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, after the two appeared to have illegally conspired against Molly Cook, proves that Dallas Jones isn’t the man he used to be.

FINAL THOUGHTS.”

Dallas Jones and whoever is trying to convince him to challenge me in court had better rethink their strategy. That said, Dallas Jones and anyone who pays him under the table or otherwise are ignorant.

New Photos of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee from Memorial Day Have Surfaced; Black Leaders Are Praying

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) appears to be poised to continue to do things on her own terms after recently being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Some great photos of the Honorable Congresswoman were taken yesterday at a Memorial Day Celebration. PRAYERS ARE FLOWING... It’s evident that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee is having difficulty walking and must be helped along. That said, the “Mayor” of Sunnyside, Sandra Massie Hines, and other strong women like Florida “Flo” Cooper (pictured with State Rep. Ron Reynolds) and many others who love the Honorable Congresswoman are growing concerned. By her own admission via text, Florida “Flo” Cooper is a cancer survivor herself. As for State Rep. Ron Reynolds (bottom for right), it is unclear if he will throw his hat into the ring to succeed Jackson Lee (74) when she steps aside or bide his time and wait for Congressman Al Green (76), to relinquish his 9th Congressional District of Texas seat.

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee appeared happy and in much better spirits in the photo taken of her at yesterday’s Memorial Day Celebration in the sweltering Houston heat. However, if you look closely, someone on her team thoughtfully placed a fan around her neck to keep her body temperature down.

Sandra Massie Hines (center) is one of the strongest “BLACK LEADERS” in Harris County, Texas, who many local politicians don’t appear to be overlooking. The “Mayor” of Sunnyside, Texas (Sandra Massie Hines) is pictured above with former Houston Police Chier Art Acevedo (left) and former Houston Police Chief Troy Finner, as a testament to her stroke in the Democratic stronghold.

The calls for State Rep. Ron E. Reynolds (HD-27) in Fort Bend, Texas, to run for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s 18th Congressional of Texas seat are growing louder. However, State Rep. Reynolds should not use his political capital to run for the 18th Congressional seat but instead should continue to bide his time, rebrand himself, and begin preparation to seize the 9th Congressional District of Texas seat when Congressman Al Green, who is 76 years of age steps aside. State Rep. Ron Reynolds is pictured above with Florida “Flo” Cooper, a woman who has played pivotal roles in helping politicians get elected for decades.

I’m Aubrey R. Taylor, the Houston Business Connections Newspaper publisher and investigative reporter. I have conducted investigations in Harris County, Texas, since the 1990s and plan to closely monitor the “ABSENTEE BALLOT FLOW” currently flooding into the Harris County Clerk’s Office to protect my interests and the interests of my clients, advertisers, and readers.

New Photos of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee from Memorial Day Have Surfaced; Black Leaders Are Praying

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Being allegedly diagnosed with cancer is no laughing matter. And being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer is nothing to play around with. However, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee has decided to do what Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee has done for decades – continue to remain visible as she works hard for the people of the 18th Congressional District of Texas.

To some, the Honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee should rest at home, surrounded by friends and family. To others, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee has earned the right to close out this chapter of her life on her terms.

I’m inclined to agree with the latter. No matter what you think of the “HARDEST WORKING CONGRESSWOMAN” in the business – she’s earned the right to do whatever she wants as her reign as the U.S. Congresswoman for the 18th Congressional District ends.

From being a municipal court judge and city council member to serving in the halls of the United States Congress, “SHE-JACK” has done things her way. And with her recent alleged pancreatic cancer diagnosis, it appears that she’s decided to do as she ‘damn well please’ between now and “LABOR DAY” as she contemplates yielding her congressional seat.

A day after my report revealed what sources close to the Honorable Congresswoman Sheila had admitted, in true “SHE-JACK FASHION,” Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee showed up in the Heights to commemorate and remember the fallen.

“Today, at our annual #MemorialDay commemoration in the Heights, we honored the lives of our fallen service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation,” said Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee at the event.

“PRAYERS ARE FLOWING.”

Since I revealed that sources close to Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, I’ve received numerous messages from well-wishers. However, the message from Sandra Massie Hines, the widely regarded Mayor of Sunnyside, nearly brought me to tears.

“Praying in agreement for God’s amazing healing power over her life,” said “Mayor” Sandra Massie Hines. “The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much,” she proclaimed.

Sandra Massie Hines went on to pray, “In Jesus’ name, I rebuke anything that rises against her, cancer, sickness, disease, and any devices that the enemy of God uses to plant fear.”

“I decree and declare divine mercy and the power of God to heal, forgive, and restore her body, soul, and mind,” said the “Mayor” of Sunnyside.

She closed out her prayer by declaring, “In Jesus’ name. Only ‘Speak Life. God is listening.”

Another strong Black leader by the name of Florida “Flo” Cooper sent me an uplifting text revealing that she, too, had been diagnosed with cancer back in 1989.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart leaning not on your OWN understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and HE will direct your path,” proclaimed Florida “Flo” Cooper, one of the most respected African American women in Texas.

I’ve always admired and respected Florida “Flo” Cooper and her putting the people first. “God is a way-maker, miracle-worker, and promise keeper of light amid darkness,” she explained in her text.

“When I was sick in 1989 and didn’t know when I would get well, HE healed this bruised and broken body from all of the effects of chemotherapy, radiation, and all that comes with it,” says Florida “Flo” Cooper, better known simply as “Flo” to me.

In true Florida “Flo” Cooper fashion, she compelled me to “HANG TOUGH” even when the road is rough! “I know God will care for you when you trust and never doubt. God will surely bring you out,” she proclaimed as she closed her text.

“A NEW CHAPTER.”

As Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee prepares to close out her storied chapter, we must understand that change is the only constant in life. Therefore, at the end of our lives, it won’t be our accolades, wealth, status, or political clout that will matter.

Family matters most. And if Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s family sees fit to have her out in this sweltering heat galavanting around Harris County, Texas, for final photo-ops – I’m good with it. However, in the spirit of public concern, the time has come for “THE BLACK COMMUNITY” to begin preparing for the next generation of leaders to emerge.

African Americans from other parts of the country are laughing at the fact that we here in Harris County, Texas, have allowed the “ELLIS/TURNER/LEE” regime to use “MUSLE-ACTION” and “MAFIA-STYLED TACTICS” to seize important elected positions and hold them for 30 years, 40 years, and in some cases 50 years without being taken to task for not developing exit strategies and then passing the torch.

My prayer is that new “BLACK LEADERS” will rise up and respectfully seize the opportunities that lie ahead as career politicians like Congressman Al Green (76), Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (74), and Mayor Sylvester Turner (69) step aside.

“CLOSING THOUGHTS.”

The polls are open through 7:00 p.m. today, and voters in Harris County, especially Democrat voters, have several tough decisions to make. I pray that everyone reading this report will use my “VOTER EMPOWERMENT SLATE” to assist them in making a quality decision at the ballot box.

If you are in Fort Bend, please remember the name Fred Taylor if you are voting in the Democratic Party Primary runoff election and Kenneth Omoruyi if you’re voting in the “GOP” primary.

In Harris County, Texas, please remember the names Christian Garcia and Kenneth Omoruyi if you are a Republican and live inside the boundaries of the 29th Congressional District of Texas or the 7th Congressional District of Texas.

All “UNAFFILIATED VOTERS” are strongly encouraged to jot down the names of Molly Cook, Angie Thibodeaux, Shawn Thierry, Jerry Zimmerer, Gemayel Haynes, Annette Ramirez, and Jerry Rodriguez.

Many candidates endorsed by “HOUSTON BUSINESS CONNECTIONS NEWSPAPER” are long shots in their runoff races. However, after much research, I genuinely feel that (of the two choices available) our “ENDORSED CANDIDATES” are the best choices available today.
