As we prepare to celebrate Black History Month, it's imperative that we pause to recognize people who've played pivotal roles in enabling my people, to live as free people in these United States of America. And that being said, the first person who comes to my mind, is President Abraham Lincoln. So, just for the record, President Abraham Lincoln issued his Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 that freed my ancestors, and I'm eternally grateful for his bravery.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A REPUBLICAN IN 2022?
There's a difference between being a Republican, and being a Conservative. That said, it's possible to be Conservative, without being a Republican, and vice versa, in my opinion. So, from what I can see, most of my Republicans friends tend to believe in limited government interference in their daily lives. Almost all of them also tend to believe that the government does not have the right to tax its people with unrealistic amounts of taxes that are not in line with the growth of our economy. But what I love about them most, is that they're huge supporters of small businesses, and the free enterprise system, not handouts from the government.
In my opinion, most African Americans have some measure of Conservatism flowing though their veins. How do I know? Well, happen to have a bunch of friends who are Conservatives. And I have a bunch of Republican and Democratic friends as well. And for the most part, my Conservative friends have a different philosophy and view of what's happening in the political world. Now, for the record, most of my Conservative friends identify more with the Republican Party. However, some of them, I would have to label as "CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRATS" for lack of a better term. However, like me, most of my friends believe that traditional institutions should be upheld. And nearly all of them believe in the free enterprise system, and the notion that nobody should be discriminated against.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A DEMOCRAT IN 2022?
To be brutally honest, I'm not really sure what it means to be a Democrat anymore. Sure, I have clients who are Democrats, who I love dearly. However, there's some things going on in the Democratic Party on the national stage, are hurting my people. For starters, there's something wrong when, "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in Washington D.C., would consider giving people who entered America illegally $450k free and clear; and only offer my people, "A STUDY ON REPARATIONS" that won't ever amount to anything. That said, on the local level Democrats are headed in the wrong direction. How can I say this? Well, from what I can see, there's "A CRISIS OF LEADERSHIP" happening in Harris County, Texas. And if you ask me, unless there's a drastic change in policy related to crime, there's about to be a "RED WAVE" in Harris County, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in the Midterm Election.
AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Can you handle the truth? Well, the truth of the matter in regards to Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, is that she's vulnerable. In fact, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, the Democratic nomination on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, she's going to loser her seat to her Republican opponent, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in the Midterm Election. So, that being said, Democratic Party Primary voters in Harris County, Texas had better seriously consider nominating someone other than Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Now, if you ask me, Georgia Provost, Erica Davis, or Kevin Howard, are all much better nominees than "LOTTERY LINA" who has failed miserably at her job."

People like Pastor Max Miller, who serves as the treasurer for the Baptist Ministers Association of Houston & Vicinity are the greatest threat to our democracy, if you ask me. What we're about to see on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in Harris County, Texas is a very close election between the "2022 DEMOCRATIC NOMINEES" and the "2022 REPUBLICAN NOMINEES," if you ask me. How can I say this? Well, because there's not going to be any straight-ticket voting in the 2022 Midterm Election. Secondly, the Harris County Elections Administrator won't be able to flood the mailboxes of registered voters with unsolicited mail-ballot applications. Thirdly, there won't be any 24-hour voting. Fourthly, there won't be any drive-thru voting. And finally, the skyrocketing crime and alleged corruption in Harris County, Texas is going to be a huge motivating factor for registered voters to get off the couch and skedaddle to the polls.
