'Alleged' Love Triangle Between the Wife of Sheriff Ed Gonzalez and HCC Chancellor Cesar Maldonado Likely Culprit

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "The United States Senate only has until Monday, January 3, 2022, to unanimously agree to hold over the nomination of Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, or make the decision to nominate Sheriff Gonzalez during the upcoming 2022 legislative session -- which more than likely may not happen. Why? Well, the 'alleged' love-triangle between Dr. Melissa Gonzalez, the wife of Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, and her boss, Dr. Cesar Maldonado, may be the culprit."

'Alleged' Love-Triangle Between the Wife of Sheriff Ed Gonzalez and HCC Chancellor Cesar Maldonado May Have Killed His Chance to Lead ICE

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

I'm not trying to harm or damage the reputation of Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. Nor am I trying to cause Sheriff Ed Gonzalez to be seen in a negative light by anyone. But I tried to tell everyone who would listen, way back when the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee  abruptly postponed their vote on Sheriff Gonzalez, President Joe Biden's pick to lead (ICE) U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, that his nomination to lead ICE was in some serious trouble. Look, all I am doing is reporting on stories and investigative issues of concern. And as an American citizen I have a First Amendment Right to FREEDOM OF SPEECH and FREEDOM OF THE PRESS that protects my right to freely publish my reports without the fear of being attacked, silenced, intimidated, or sued, as long as the information I am reporting is factually true. Now, that being said, when I got my hands on the "SWORN AFFIDAVIT OF FORMER HCC POLICE OFFICER FREDRICK PORTIS" that had been signed, notarized, and sworn to by Officer Fredrick Portis, I had a duty to report it."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "President Joe Biden's pick, to lead (ICE) U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is in serious trouble if you ask me. So, for all of you who don't know, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez's nomination is in jeopardy for several different reasons, beyond the allegations that he assaulted his wife. Dr. Melissa Gonzalez, after learning of her romantic affair with her boss, Dr. Cesar Maldonado, the Chancellor of (HCC) Houston Community College. Now, that being said, when I got my hands on the "SWORN AFFIDAVIT OF FORMER HCC POLICE OFFICER FREDRICK PORTIS" that had been signed, notarized, and sworn to by Officer Fredrick Portis, I had a duty to report it."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Now, this dude right here is the one who spilled the beans if you believe the account of Patricia Dodd that's detailed inside attorney Ben Hall's $15 million dollar lawsuit against HCC. The suit alleges that Trustee Robert Glaser is the person who told  Patricia Dodd, one of his subordinates that he felt emboldened to ask her for sex because (Dr. Cesar Maldonado) the Chancellor of the college, was his personal friend and was himself having a similar sexual relationship with a married female (Dr. Melissa Gonzalez) an employee at the college who was working under him. So, we now know, through the  "AFFIDAVIT OF HCC POLICE OFFICER FREDERICK PORTIS" that's been signed, notarized, and sworn to by Officer Fredrick Portis, that Trustee Robert Glazer wasn't lying."

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Now, from what I can see, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez has several issues that could derail his nomination as the best person to lead (ICE) U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Allegedly assaulting his wife after learning of her affair with her boss, Dr. Cesar Maldonado is just one of the major issues that could be very problematic for Sheriff Gonzalez. However, he also has to be very concerned about the fact that actual ICE officers blasted him and called the selection of him to lead ICE as premature. As a matter of fact, labor union for deportation officers accused Sheriff Gonzalez of calling whistleblowers liars when he discounted their tales of being blocked from enforcing immigration law. In fact, according to an "EXCLUSIVE ARTICLE" that was published inside the Washington Times, National ICE Council President Chris Crane said in a letter to senators earlier this week, that, 'Sheriff Gonzalez's quick dismissals of complaints from within his presumptive workforce, lead us to believe that we're getting yet another partisan political operative to lead the agency, not a director who truly cares about public safety and the employees he is entrusted to lead.' So, all of that being said, Sheriff Gonzalez faces an uphill battle in his quest to lead ICE."

Meet Sheriff Ed Gonzalez

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez is working every day to keep Harris County seniors, families and children safe. He is advancing reforms to our criminal justice system to ensure that everyone is treated equally under the law. And he is reforming the office to make it more efficient by controlling costs and eliminating waste.

Ed earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Houston Downtown and went on to serve 18 years with the Houston Police Department. He started out as a civilian employee, then became a police officer and rose to the rank of Sergeant, leading homicide investigations and serving on the elite hostage negotiation team.

Ed was elected to the Houston City Council in 2009, serving three terms as the representative for District H. He was elected by his peers in 2010 to serve as Vice Mayor Pro-Tem and was appointed Mayor Pro-Tem in 2012 by Mayor Annise Parker.

As chair of City Council’s Public Safety & Homeland Security Committee, Ed broke new ground with initiatives to protect vulnerable seniors from elder abuse, expand the fight against human trafficking, reduce the public safety risks of stray animals, protect cyclists and pedestrians on city streets and protect online buyers and sellers from predators.
Ed was elected Sheriff of Harris County, Texas on November 8, 2016. His first term, where he has continued to prioritize public safety and reform. Sheriff Gonzalez:
Supported efforts at responsible bail reform and made significant progress in implementing the new rules in a way that protects the public and preserves the constitutional rights of people who have been arrested but not convicted of crimes
Set the standard for innovation and collaboration regarding the care and response to the mentally ill – making a significant positive impact on the treatment and response to individuals with serious mental illness, developmental disabilities, neurocognitive disorders and substance abuse
Dedicated new resources to help incarcerated military veterans
Expanded gun surrender programs and increased our focus on domestic violence

Made road safety and decreasing road fatalities a priority, including convening a new, multi-agency task force charged with targeting law enforcement initiatives in areas with a high frequency of speeding or crashes
Brought the county jail into compliance with the Texas Commission on Jail Standards and moved swiftly and transparently to deal with compliance issues
Reduced overtime expenses and save tax dollars that could be redirected to other vital programs serving the public

Led heroic rescue and recovery efforts to keep people safe during Hurricane Harvey and other disasters

HARRIS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is the largest Sheriff Office in the State of Texas, and the third largest nationwide. Sheriff Gonzalez leads upwards of 5,000 employees to protect the County’s 4.5 million residents within the 1,700 square miles of Harris County.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Attorney Ben Hall isn't playing around with (HCC) Houston Community College. What was Board Trustee Robert Glaser thinking? Get this -- there's a portion of the lawsuit that details an event where HCC Trustee Robert Glaser took the employee to a bar and after a few drinks the female became incapacitated and ended up in bed without any clothes on and with sore thighs. Man-oh-Man. The lawsuit goes on to claim that HCC Board Trustee Robert Glaser is said to have told the female afterward that he had taken her home the night before from the bar and “made out” with her. Man -- you have to read this story -- my God."

HCC, Chancellor, and Chair Hit with $15 Million Sexual Assault Suit

 - PRESS RELEASE -

HOUSTON, TX. HCC’s legal troubles are growing.  Already facing two federal racial discrimination suits filed by 100+ Black employees, the beleaguered community college and its top executives have now been hit with a graphic sexual assault suit filed by a 50-year old white female employee.  The new lawsuit alleges HCC’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Robert Glaser, initiated a sexual relationship with the female employee who was experiencing difficulties with her job at the college.  Glaser is alleged to have promised the female he would address issues with her supervisors and help her keep her job in exchange for sexual favors.  The suit details an event where Glaser took the employee to a bar and after a few drinks, the female became incapacitated and ended up in bed without any clothes on and with sore thighs.  Glaser is said to have told the female afterward that he had taken her home the night before from the bar and “made out” with her. The suit recounts even more graphic accounts of Glaser’s sexual misconduct, including his sending a video to the employee of him masturbating, calling the female employee on another occasion while he was masturbating at his house and asking her to stay on the phone until he “got off,” and yet another incident of his transporting her across state lines to travel with him to Washington, DC to an HCC-event for a sex-filled weekend at the St. Regis Hotel.

The suit alleges Glaser told the female he felt emboldened to ask her for sex because the Chancellor of the college, Cesar Maldonado was his personal friend and was himself having a similar sexual relationship with a married female employee at the college who was working under him.  The Chancellor’s affair with the married employee is said to have been investigated by HCC police officers whom Chancellor Maldonado threatened to fire if the investigation proceeded without him being present during the interrogation.  When the officers asked Maldonado to leave the interrogation room while they interviewed the female he refused and began coaching the female on what to say in response to the officer’s questions.  The suit alleges a police report of the incident is still in the possession of the HCC police department, but it presently has an administrative block on it to try to keep it hidden.

After Plaintiff filed an EEOC complaint against HCC, Maldonado, and Glaser, she received notice from the college that her employment contract would not be renewed.  She alleges school officials are now retaliating against her because she is revealing and trying to stop the sexual harassment and sexual exploitation of females at HCC.

The suit also identifies several instances of other male managers at the college sexually exploiting subordinate female employees and alleges HCC administrators under Maldonado have turned a blind eye to the abuse. The suit contends HCC has adopted a de facto custom, practice, and policy of allowing sexual exploitation of female employees by male employees who occupy powerful positions at the college and/or are perceived to be friends of Maldonado.

When asked about the lawsuit, the Plaintiff stated, “I am ashamed of what I had to go through at HCC just to try to keep my job.  No woman should be asked to bargain with her dignity and self-respect to make a living. Maldonado’s and Glaser’s actions need to be seriously examined, if not by the Board of Trustees then by a jury at the courthouse.”

Plaintiff is suing Maldonado, HCC, and Glaser for $15 million. A copy of the lawsuit can be found HERE!

We Must Make It Our Business to Put People Over Politics During the 2022 Midterm Election Cycle All Across the State of Texas

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

What we're about to see on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in Harris County, Texas is a very close election between the "2022 DEMOCRATIC NOMINEES" and the "2022 REPUBLICAN NOMINEES," if you ask me. How can I say this? Well, because there's not going to be any straight-ticket voting in the 2022 Midterm Election. Secondly, the Harris County Elections Administrator won't be able to flood the mailboxes of registered voters with unsolicited mail-ballot applications. Thirdly, there won't be any 24-hour voting. Fourthly, there won't be any drive-thru voting. And finally, the skyrocketing crime and alleged corruption in Harris County, Texas is going to be a huge motivating factor for registered voters to get off the couch and skedaddle to the polls.

MLK Parade Foundation

There is but One Race, and that is The Human Race. This message was articulated very clearly by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a Visionary who saw things from a different perspective. Almost Forty Years later, we now see those things, and we will strive to incorporate those things into our everyday lives in the knowledge of “Change Begins With Self”

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "Now is the time when our love for America must prevail. It is incumbent upon us to elect "PUBLIC SERVANTS" who understand that they work for the people. We need "ELECTED OFFICIALS" in office who love "OUR CONSTITUTION" and the ideals that our nation was founded upon by our forefathers. We must endeavor to "PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS" and do what's best for America during this crucial moment during the history of our great nation."

Nominating the Wrong Candidates on "SUPER TUESDAY" Could Have Disastrous Consequences in the November 2022 General Election in Harris County

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in the upcoming 2022 Midterms, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.
