Day 4 - Early Voting Totals for the Saturday, December 2, 2021, HISD, HCC School Board Joint Runoff Elections

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "On Thursday, December 2, 2021, only 1,120 voters cast their vote by appearing in person. That said, only 181 votes were cast by mail-in ballot. So, only 1,301 total votes were cast on the fourth day of Early Voting for the Saturday, December 11, 2021, HISD/HCC Joint Runoff Election."

DAY #4 ELECTION RESULTS

On Thursday, December 2, 2021, only 1,120 voters cast their vote by appearing in person. That said, only 181 votes were cast by mail-in ballot. So, only 1,301 total votes were cast on the fourth day.

TAYLOR: "Make no mistake about it, every warm-blooded American patriot residing inside of HISD District I, HISD District V, HISD District VI, and HISD District VII, is strongly encouraged to cast your vote for Janette Garza Lindner in the runoff race for HISD District I, Caroline Walter in the runoff race for District V, Dr. Kendall Baker in the runoff race for District VI, and Bridget Wade in the runoff race for District VII, on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Now, that being said, I can't find any logical reason why any Democratic voter, Republican voter, Independent voter, Libertarian voter, or Green Party voter would want to cast their ballot for any of the four incumbent HISD Trustees who are in the fight of their political lives right now."

In the runoff race for HISD District V, we're sticking with our endorsement of Caroline Walter, in the December 2021 runoff election. MEET DR. JHARRETT BRYANTT

Dr. Jharrett Bryantt is currently running for Houston Community College Board of Trustees, District VII. He began his career as a high school math teacher in Houston’s East End, which is one of the communities he will represent as District VIII trustee. A career educator, Dr. Bryantt spent over 8 years working for the Houston Independent School District, where he’s served in numerous roles, including College Counselor and Assistant Superintendent of College Readiness. He is running for HCC trustee because he’s passionate about expanding opportunities for Houstonians to thrive in high-demand, high-wage careers, and he possesses the expertise in college access to make an impact at HCC on day one. In 2019 he was named to Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30 List in Education, and he was named to the 2021 Forbes list of 50 Champions for elevating people of color. Dr. Bryantt received his Doctorate in Education Policy & Leadership from the University of Texas at Austin and his Bachelor’s degree from Yale University.

We Must Make it Our Business to Nominate the Right Democratic and Republican Candidates in the Upcoming 2022 Primary Elections

Make no mistake about it, who the people of Harris County, Texas choose to give another term to in 2022 must be about substance, job performance, judicial temperament, competence, and whether or not our members of the judiciary are following the law with their rulings. And that being said, in 2022, it is incumbent upon the voters of Harris County to evaluate the job performance of each and every sitting "ELECTED OFFICIAL" on a case-by-case basis and not as a group based on their political party affiliation, ethnicity, or gender.
