On Monday, January 20, 2020, Martin Luther King, Jr Day will be celebrated throughout these United States of America as a federal holiday. We celebrate this federal holiday that's intended to be a time of unity, service and togetherness on the third Monday of January each and every year. However, if you are a Houstonian you will have to choose once again whether to attend the 42ND Annual “Original” MLK, Jr. Parade Celebration, that's scheduled to take place from 10:00am to 12:00pm or the MLK Grande Parade that's scheduled to go down at the exact same time. So, in case you don't know, the theme of the 42nd Annual "Original" MLK, Jr. Parade Celebration is, "We've Decided to Stick with Love...Hate is Too Great a Burden to Bear." That being said, over in Midtown on Monday, January 20, 2020, the MLK Grande Parade will be taking place from 10:00am to 12:00pm. So, in case you don't know, the theme for the MLK Grande Parade is “The Color Of Unity.” And hey, don't forget that the MLK Grande Parade will be televised on Channel 39 this year.
