A projected field of the "TOP TEN" people who could run competitive races in a "SPECIAL ELECTION" to fill the vacant 18th Congressional District of Texas following the untimely death of Congressman Sylvester Turner has been developed by Aubrey R. Taylor Communications. Former State Rep. Jarvis Johnson (top left), Former State Rep. Shawn Thierry, the darling of "THE GOP," Former Councilman Dwight Boykins (top third from left), State Rep. Jolanda Jones (top second from right), State Rep. Christina Morales (top right), Former Councilwoman Amanda Edwards (bottom left), Former State Rep. Candidate Angeanette "Angie" Thibodeaux (bottom second from left), NAACP Board President Bishop James Dixon (bottom third from left), Community Activist and Former Houston City Council Candidate Travis McGee, and High-Powered Community Activist Deric Muhammad.
ALL EYES ON ABBOTT...
Sec. 204.021. VACANCY FILLED AT SPECIAL ELECTION. An unexpired term in the office of a United States representative may be filled only by a special election in the same manner provided by Chapter 203 for the legislature, except that Section 203.013 does not apply.
When a U.S. Representative (Member of Congress) dies in office, as Congressman Sylvester Turner did, “the Executive Authority” is authorized to issue orders for “SPECIAL ELECTIONS” to fill House vacancies. In Texas, Governor Greg Abbott is “the Chief Executive Authority” and will be responsible for calling a special election – not Harris County Democratic Party Precinct Chairs.

The Top-Ten List of People Who Would Be Serious Contenders in a Special Election for the 18th Congressional District
AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©
My top-ten field of candidates who would be the clear front-runners with a chance to succeed the late Congressman Sylvester Turner would include former State Rep. Shawn Thierry as a hefty favorite in the current political climate we’re living through if she decides to run for the seat.
In no particular order, my top-ten list of strong contenders for the 18th Congressional District “SPECIAL ELECTION” would consist of former State Rep. Shawn Thierry, former Councilman Dwight Boykins, former State Rep. Jarvis Johnson, former Councilwoman Amanda Edwards, Former City Council Candidate Travis McGee, State Rep. Jolanda Jones, NAACP Board President Bishop James Dixon, Community Activist Deric Muhammad, State Rep. Christina Morales, and former candidate for State Rep. Angeanette “Angie” Thibodeaux.
The upcoming “SPECIAL ELECTION” for the 18th Congressional District of Texas is former State Rep. Shawn Thierry’s race to lose if she wants it. State Rep. Shawn Thierry could whip the brakes off former Councilwoman Amanda Edwards in a face-to-face runoff.
If you remember, former State Rep. Shawn Thierry fled the Democratic Party and has become a “DARLING OF THE GOP,” affectionately known as the “Greater Opportunity Party,” after allegedly being sexually harassed, stalked, and bullied by a toxic Harris County Democratic Party Precinct Chair named Kay Shepard, who represents Precinct 30. However, to win, Thierry would need between $3 million and $5 million to flip this Democratic Congressional seat from “BLUE” to “RED” in the upcoming Special Election.
What you have to remember about former State Rep. Shawn Thierry is that she’s a lot easier on the eyes than former Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. And unlike former Councilwoman Amanda Edwards, Thierry is more than a pretty face and has loads of experience when it comes to crafting legislation and working across the political aisle.
To emerge victorious, attorney Shawn Thierry would have to merge “A UNIQUE COALITION” of MAGA “Make America Great Again” patriots with a strong base of African American voters who are fed-up, sick and tired, and eager to put a stop to the political games, and trickery, being played on “THE BLACK COMMUNITY” by criminal career politicians who have ruled the 18th Congressional District with an iron thumb for decades.
I believe Thierry has what it takes to marry the two groups for this cause. Still, she would need millions for messaging, a strong ground game, and the political backing and blessings of President Donald J. Trump, Governor Greg Abbott, Senator Ted Cruz, Attorney General Ken Paxton, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, and “GOP” Political Action Committees, to fight off her critics, and political rivals.
Could she pull it off? Former State Rep. Shawn Thierry is a “STEALTH ‘GOP’ CANDIDATE” who could win the “SPECIAL ELECTION” in a runoff and flip the 18th Congressional District seat from “BLUE” to “RED” no question about it.

THE PEOPLE DESERVE SOMEONE LIKE THIERRY…
There is no doubt about it: the people of the 18th Congressional District deserve better treatment than what they’ve received from the gang of selfish, egotistical, greedy, criminal-minded career politicians who have controlled the predominantly African American congressional district for decades. So, when are we (BLACK PEOPLE) going to start electing public servants who TRULY care about our people? When?
Congressman Mickey Leland died in a plane crash on August 7, 1989. The late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson died on July 19, 2024. Now, Congressman Sylvester Turner, who somewhat selfishly placed himself in a position to inflict more heartbreak, mourning, bereavement, and grief on the people of the 18th Congressional District of Texas, has gone home to glory.
By definition, “GRIEF” is a natural human reaction to a significant loss, often the death of a loved one. I understand that a handful of people loved Congressman Turner, but his actions were wrong. And what did he gain from his selfish act? After two months – he does not have a congressional legacy. So, what did he gain?
After 8 years as Houston’s Mayor, Sylvester Turner left the City of Houston in horrible shape, and his tenure as Mayor got mired and bogged down in corruption – that’s the truth.
As a state representative, Sylvester Turner was rock-solid. He served the people of the 139th House District with honor and dignity. I honor “SLY” as he’s affectionately known as a great State representative, but I abhor him and will remember him as one of the worst mayors in U.S. history.
You also can’t leave out the fact that Congressman Sylvester Turner was worse than “DIDDY” back during the 1990s, with the orgies he was recruiting and inviting other “BLACK MEN” to take part in as he endeavored to quenched his alleged “ROBUST APPETITE” for anal sex, and placing the penis of other men inside his mouth, according to several sources.

GOVERNOR GREG ABBOTT IS IN CHARGE…
There are a lot of people wondering what’s going to happen next after Congressman Sylvester Turner died the other day. Under the Texas Election Code, Title 12, Subchapter B, Sec. 204.021, which deals with what happens when vacancies occur in the United States House of Representatives, the void left by the sudden passing of Congressman Sylvester Turner will be filled by holding a special election to determine the next U.S. Representative for the 18th Congressional District of Texas.
Sec.
In Texas, Governor Greg Abbott is “the Chief Executive Authority” and will be responsible for calling a special election – not Harris County Democratic Precinct Chairs.
This time around, unlike what we saw unfold when Commissioner Rodney Ellis and others helped Turner finagle his way into having his name placed on the Tuesday, November 5, 2024, ballot after his fellow regime member, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, passed away – the playing field will be a lot more level.
The people of the 18th Congressional District may finally have an opportunity to decide who will represent them in the United States Congress. However, what candidates vying to replace the late Congressman Sylvester Turner have to watch out for in the upcoming “SPECIAL ELECTION” is the “ELLIS/TURNER/LEE” regime’s penchant for using “ILLEGAL MAIL BALLOT HARVESTING” as a means to gain an unfair advantage.
This predominantly African American congressional district is ripe for “BALLOT FRAUD.” It always has been, but you can bet your bottom dollar that my investigative team and I will closely monitor the “MAIL BALLOTS” and the “IN-PERSON” vote tallies to ensure that no candidate seeking to win the 18th Congressional District seat gains an unfair advantage by using “UNSCRUPULOUS METHODS” using fraudulent mail-ballots to win the seat.
When will the “SPECIAL ELECTION” to fill the vacancy left by Congressman Sylvester Turner’s untimely death on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in Washington, D.C., after President Trump’s address to the Joint Session of Congress be held?
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, a “UNIFORM ELECTION” is scheduled in Texas. And on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, another “UNIFORM ELECTION” will occur in Texas.
It is unclear whether Governor Abbott will select Saturday, May 3, 2025, or Tuesday, November 4, 2025, but the “SPECIAL ELECTION” for the 18th Congressional District will be more critical than it’s ever been because Republicans only hold a slight majority in the U.S. Congress.
Governor Abbott can also call an “EMERGENCY SPECIAL ELECTION,” and have it take place between the May 3rd and November 4th elections, but nobody knows what the governor plans to do.

THE MASTER OF THE MAIL BALLOTS…
The upcoming “SPECIAL ELECTION” could pump millions into Harris County, Texas, and bring national players into Texas, including President Donald J. Trump. However, on the local front, Commissioner Rodney Ellis is the man to watch because he, the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and the late Congressman Sylvester Turner represented a three-headed monster that has ruled “THE BLACK COMMUNITY” by any means necessary.
Listen. There’s no way Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis received 9,104 absentee mail ballots, and former felony court judge Maria T. Jackson only received 1,989 absentee mail ballots during the Tuesday, March 3, 2020, Democratic Party Primary.
Can you believe only 22,785 absentee mail ballots were cast countywide for the 2020 Democratic Party Primary? However, an astonishing 11,093 got cast in Commissioner Rodney Ellis’s re-election race alone.
After all, how could nearly half the number of mail ballots for the entire county get cast in the Harris County Commissioner for Precinct One race between Commissioner Rodney Ellis and his Democratic challenger, former judge Maria T. Jackson? How is that even mathematically possible?
Whether Commissioner Ellis gained the upper hand on Maria T. Jackson using alleged illegal ballot harvesting during the 2020 Democratic Party Primary isn’t the real issue I’m concerned about in this report.

MAJOR CONCERN FOR THE SPECIAL ELECTION…
My top concern when it comes to the pending “SPECIAL ELECTION” for the 18th Congressional District of Texas is what happened with the “MAIL BALLOTS” that were harvested by people hired by Gerald Womack, the owner of Womack Development & Investment Realtors during the Tuesday, March 3, 2020, Democratic Party Primary race for the 18th Congressional District when six hungry Democrats challenged Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee for her seat.
During the Tuesday, March 3, 2020, Democratic Party Primary, as he had for decades, Gerald Womack was acting as the “CAMPAIGN MANAGER” for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s Campaign, out of 4412 Almeda Road, which doubled as Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s campaign headquarters.
During the March 2020 Democratic Party Primary, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee gained more “ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOTS” than all her Democratic challengers combined. But the only problem is that at least two “BALLOT HARVESTERS” hired by Gerald Womack (Gloria Palmer and Tomar Bishop) stole the identities of “DEAD BLACK VOTERS” in an attempt to help Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee gain an unfair advantage over her Democratic challengers.
Once Gloria Palmer and Tomar Bishop stole the identities of the “DEAD BLACK VOTERS,” what they did next was forge the signatures of the “DEAD BLACK VOTERS” onto mail-ballot-request forms and then placed those forged documents into the United States Postal Service boxes – which is mail fraud, a federal criminal act.
Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and Gerald Womack were notorious for dispatching Gloria Palmer and her minions to harvest mail ballots for decades.
As refresher, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee received 6,202 absentee mail ballots, Marc Flores received 271, Jerry Ford, Sr., received 168, Michael Allen received 118, Stevens Orozco received 70, Bimal Patel received 70, and Donovan Boson received 33, absentee mail ballots, for a total of 6,932, cast in the Tuesday, March 3, 2020, Democratic Party Primary race for the 18th Congressional District.
After members of my investigative team, with the help of Sheree Harris Fisher, who worked inside the office of Gerald Womack for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s campaign, we uncovered that their “ILLEGAL BALLOT HARVESTERS” had forged the signatures of several “DEAD BLACK VOTERS” onto mail-ballot-requests, and committed mail fraud by placing the forged documents into the United States Postal Service boxes.
The most egregious case of a “DEAD BLACK VOTER” who had her identity stolen by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s “MAIL BALLOT HARVESTERS” was that of Kathleen Hooey, who died in 1991 and had been dead for 29 years before her signature got forged onto a fraudulent mail-ballot-request, by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s ballot harvesters.
Gloria Chambers was another “DEAD BLACK VOTER” who had her identity stolen by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s ballot harvesters. Based on our research, Gloria Chambers passed away in 2010, an astonishing 10 years before her signature got forged onto a fraudulent mail ballot request by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s ballot harvesters.
Jessie Burks was another “DEAD BLACK VOTER” who had her identity stolen by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s ballot harvesters during the 2020 Democratic Party Primary. Jessie Burks died in 2015, which was 5 years before her signature got forged onto a fraudulent mail ballot request by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s ballot harvesters.
Tommie Bookman, a United States Veteran who served his country in the Korean War, was laid to rest in the Houston National Cemetery in 2016, which was 4 years before his signature got forged onto a fraudulent mail ballot request by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s ballot harvesters.
Sylvia Thomas moved out of Harris County, Texas, nearly 20 years before the Democratic Party Primary on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. However, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s “BALLOT HARVESTERS” still forged her signature on a mail ballot request and placed the forged document inside the United States Postal Service box, which was a federal crime.
At the time Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s “BALLOT HARVESTERS” stole the identity of Sylvia Thomas, she was alive, living in New Orleans, Louisiana, and told former FBI Investigative Specialist Charles Chuck Marler that she did not request an absentee mail ballot, or sign any documents, related to any election in Harris County, Texas.

THE ELLIS/TURNER/LEE CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE…
The once strong and vibrant “ELLIS/TURNER/LEE” regime is over. Commissioner Rodney Ellis was born Rodney Glenn Ellis on April 7, 1954, which makes him 71 years old. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee died on July 19, 2024, and now, Congressman Sylvester Turner has passed away after attending President Donald Trump’s address to the Joint Session of Congress on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in Washington, D.C., imploring the folks in the room to work together.
If you want to know the truth, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee was already sick when she was recruited by Sylvester Turner, who was the outgoing Mayor of Houston, and Commissioner Rodney Ellis to become the Mayor of Houston, Texas, during the 2023 City of Houston Mayoral Election, which turned out to be a total disaster.
Sheila Jackson Lee didn’t have any business putting herself under the stress that she subjected herself to in the hotly-contested 2023 City of Houston Mayoral Election when she and her henchmen bullied Chris Hollins and Amanda Edwards into abandoning their dreams of becoming the Mayor of Houston, Texas.
The public humiliation “SHE-JACK” suffered in her loss to Whitmire took a toll on Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and she never recovered from the shame she experienced, as everything she thought about herself and her capabilities turned out to be a lie.
Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee was never as powerful as people made her out to be, in any sense of the word. What Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee was, when you get down to it, was a woman who turned her head in the other direction as her “BALLOT HARVESTERS” wreaked havoc on local elections.
Gerald Womack and his “BALLOT HARVESTERS” cheated Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s opponents by illegally harvesting mail ballots to help her secure all those re-election bids she won by using “hook-or-crook” methods – that’s a fact.
And while I’m at it, let me tell you something: Sylvester Turner and Rodney Ellis were wrong as two left shoes when they sent Turner to Washington, D.C., knowing full well that Turner was not healthy, sick, feeble, and dying.
Why did Ellis and Turner put the people of the 18th Congressional District through such heartbreak? Why?
It’s not a coincidence that Congressman Sylvester Turner died in the 18th Congressional District only two months after claiming the seat on January 3, 2025.
The people of the 18th Congressional District deserve much better than our elected leaders give them. Remember, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee died a little over 7 months before Congressman Turner took office to succeed her.
Why did Commissioner Rodney Ellis and Sylvester Turner block former Councilwoman Amanda Edwards from succeeding Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee when Harris County Democratic Precinct Chairs convened to pick a successor to appear on the November 2024 ballot?
If you remember, 88 Harris County Precinct Chairs for the 18th Congressional District had to select a person to replace Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee on the Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Presidential Election ballot.
Turner ultimately received 41 votes, and former Houston City Councilwoman Amanda Edwards received 37 votes, even though everyone in the room could see with their own eyes that Turner was gravely ill and feeble.
What type of benefit did the people of the 18th Congressional District get from Commissioner Rodney Ellis and other so-called “BLACK LEADERS” who manipulated the voting process to get Turner selected?

THE ANTICS OF CONGRESSMAN AL GREEN…
What about the antics Congressman Al Green pulled before the entire nation? It almost looks like Congressman Green was trying to get himself noticed – but he did not accomplish anything. Congressman Green played to the cameras at President Donald Trump’s address to the Joint Session of Congress, but he made a fool of himself and his constituents.
I like Congressman Al Green, the U.S. Representative for the 9th Congressional District of Texas. However, an elder statesman willing to make a fool of himself on national TV before the American people isn’t what I look for in a congressional leader.
When are we Black folks going to wake up and come to the realization that every other ethnic group appears to be progressing while our “YOUNG LEADERS” are waiting in line behind antiquated, washed-up career politicians who are still playing political games that worked back in the 1960s?
Listen. It’s time for “BLACK COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS” to educate, empower, and mobilize the Black Community. We are falling further and further behind every other ethnic group.
And from a political perspective, many of our “SO-CALLED LEADERS” don’t have it within them to develop new ideas, strategies, or methods – they just don’t.
What’s playing out before our eyes is the everpresent weakening of a political hierarchy that worked during years past, when people like Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and other Black elected officials could rely on “ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOTS” to win local elections in predominantly African American precincts – but that ship has sailed.

TWO BALLOT HARVESTING KING-PINS…
On the local front, Commissioner Rodney Ellis’s boy back in the day was Dallas Jones, the owner of Elite Change, Inc., and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee relied on Gerald Womack, the owner of Womack Development & Investment Realtors.
Gerald Womack, Dallas Jones, Gloria Palmer, Evelyn Dupree, Lanora Walker, Lula Wilson, and Deborah Adams are just a few of the alleged “KING-PINS” who played significant roles in killing the hopes and dreams of anyone who dared to oppose “ESTABLISHMENT NEGROS” like Ellis, Turner, Jackson-Lee, and Dutton, in Harris County, Texas back in the day.
These filthy criminal-minded career politicians are used to being able to gang up on people who challenged them. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee was a bully, but Commissioner Rodney Ellis wasn’t as strong as “SHE-JACK.” that’s why Commissioner Ellis operates mostly in the shadows.
Ellis, in reality, is a cowardly man with a limp wrist. There’s nothing masculine, bold, or courageous about Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis – he’s a small man with a decent-sized body with henchmen, cronies, and minions who will do his dirty work.
Everyone knows that there are specific “BLACK CONSULTANTS” who specialize in running absentee ballot programs in Harris County, Texas. These lowdown dirty Blacks have been cheating people out of their dream of becoming elected officials for decades.
The federal authorities have visited their homes, and local candidates continue to fund their illegal operations. And as for Commissioner Rodney Ellis, he’s a lying, conniving snake who allegedly paid Harris County Democratic Party Chairs an alleged $500.00 each to cast their votes for him over Gene Locke after the untimely death of beloved Harris County Commissioner El Franco Lee, back in 2016 – I’m sick of it!!!

ELLIS’S DAYS AS A COMMISSIONER IS WINDING DOWN…
The grip Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis once held on Harris County, Texas, is gone. That 3-1 vote last week to add five new District Courts was telling. Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo abstained – she did not vote. Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia voted “IN FAVOR” to adding new district courts. Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis voted “IN FAVOR” to adding new district courts. Commissioner Tom Ramsey, the only Republican on Harris County’s Commissioners Court, also voted “IN FAVOR” to adding new district courts.
What we witnessed last week was a clear sign that Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis no longer has complete control over any of the County Commissioners, which could also signal that Commissioner Ellis’s days as a County Commissioner could draw to an end a few years from now, in the 2028 Presidential Election.
The type of candidate whom I believe could defeat Commissioner Rodney Ellis is an intelligent, community-minded “LATINA FEMALE” with a “GOOD NAME-ID” who knows how to raise money and build relationships across ethnic boundaries.
While a handful of “BLACK ELECTED OFFICIALS” still haven’t received the memo explaining to them that Commissioner Ellis is not a deity, mini-god, or a divinely appointed leader – they will very soon.
Commissioner Rodney Ellis only cares about Commissioner Rodney Ellis. And once local “BLACK LEADERS” realize that Commissioner Rodney Ellis is the most self-serving and egotistical elected official in Harris County, Texas, the better off we all will be, in my opinion.
I get that people are scared of Commissioner Rodney Ellis, but “ROTTEN RODNEY” is not the boogieman ain’t nobody scared of Ellis – he’s a public servant – not a mafia boss.
Ellis is not the man he once was – not that he was ever that powerful. But today, he’s a shell of himself, and “BLACK JUDGES” had better get their act together and realize that Commissioner Ellis does not care about them or their futures.
There are (26) twenty-six “BLACK INCUMBENT DEMOCRAT JUDGES” who better have their heads on a swivel as the upcoming Monday, December 8, 2025, deadline to sign up to appear on the Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Democratic Party Primary ballot approaches.
The “BLACK JUDGES” I’m referring to are Judge Latosha Lewis Payne, Judge Tamika “Tami” Craft, Judge DaSean Jones, Judge Katherine N. Thomas, Judge Beverly D. Armstrong, Judge Angela M. Lancelin, Judge Judge Angela Graves Harrington, Judge Sandra Peake, Judge Lori Chambers Gray, Judge Melissa Marie Morris, Judge Dedra Davis, Judge Damiane “Dianne” Curvey, Judge Lina Marie Dunson, Judge Germaine Tanner, Judge Michelle D. Moore, Judge Veronica M. Nelson, Judge Shannon Baldwin, Judge Toria J. Finch, Judge Juanita Jackson, Judge Sedrick T. Walker, Judge Genesis Draper, Judge Tonya Jones, Judge Audrie Lawton-Evans, Judge LaShawn A. Williams, Judge Lucia Bates, and Judge Sharon Burney.
If Commissioner Rodney Ellis gave a damn about local judges, he would have voted to add more District Courts like Judge Latosha Lewis Payne and Judge Angela Graves Harrington pleaded with him to do on Thursday, February 27, 2025, when they appeared before Commissioners Court asking for the support.
Where do I stand?
I believe there’s a desperate need for more Civil District Courts in Harris County, Texas. The backlogs and growing population in Harris County are part of the underlying problem. During the Thursday, February 27, 2025, Commissioners Court meeting, when that 3-1 vote took place, Commissioner Garcia, Commissioner Ramsey, and Commissioner Briones voted correctly.
Under the Texas Constitution, only the state legislature can approve the creation of new district courts for Harris County. Judge Lastosha Lewis Payne, a member of “BLACK GIRL MAGIC,” who now serves as the administrative judge for Harris County’s 67 district courts, led the discussions but couldn’t convince Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis to vote “IN FAVOR” of the item – shame on Commissioner Ellis.
County Commissioner Rodney Ellis was left alone in a show of Ellis’s weakening grip on county government, in my opinion. What does this mean?
I take my hat off to Garcia, Ramsey, and Briones for supporting the agenda item by Judge Latosha Lewis Payne and Judge Angela Graves Harrington.
In my opinion, the time has come for the “BLACK COMMUNITY” to come forward into the year 2025 and ditch the leaders of the 1960s and 1970s.
It’s time for new leaders to emerge. It’s time for people like Commissioner Rodney Ellis to embrace a new pathway forward before it’s too late.
I’m talking about real-life issues – with real-world consequences today. Commissioner Rodney Ellis hasn’t been anything but a master manipulator who hasn’t done anything for Black people.
When are we going to wake up?
The Hispanic community embraces its “YOUNG PEOPLE,” just look around Harris County, Texas. The Hispanics are in good shape, from an authoritative position – but we Black folks find ourselves stuck behind antiquated so-called leaders who are a step away from death’s door, waiting for our turn.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT…
If you pay close attention to the local political landscape, Hispanics have smartly spread their influence across political boundaries and are positioning themselves as Republicans and Democrats. This strategy is brilliant because no matter if Republicans win or the Democrats win, “THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY” will still have a seat at the table.
When it comes to “THE ASIAN COMMUNITY,” they don’t do a lot of public talking about politics. Still, their influence on economics impacts politics as they only support candidates who best represent their economic interests.
Regarding “THE BLACK COMMUNITY,” we’re caught up on how things look. We like to drive big fancy cars to make people think we’re rich. We want to walk into meetings in fancy suits to make people think we’ve got it going on. We like to grandstand and make ourselves appear to be powerful when, in actuality, we’re not controlling anything.
The upcoming 2026 Midterm Election is about to give us a good gauge when it comes to whether the gains achieved by African Americans in the local judicial arena were real or fake.
At this point, Governor Greg Abbott, Attorney General Ken Paxton, and Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick will be up for re-election. That said, once again, the eyes of Texas will be focused squarely on people like Dallas Jones, the owner of Elite Change, Inc., and Gerald Womack, the owner of Womack Development & Investment Realtors, just in case they get cute and try to deploy the likes Evelyn Dupree, and Gloria Palmer to work their magic with the “ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOTS” on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in the Midterm Election.

Commissioner Rodney Ellis has $6,414,367.00 in his campaign bank account, more than all of the sitting incumbent "DEMOCRATIC JUDGES" combined. However, the incumbent Democratic Judges are called upon to give the lion's share of the money donated to the Harris County Democratic Party. During the 2024 Presidential Election cycle, while more than a few Democratic Judges donated upwards of $50,000.00 to the Harris County Democratic Party out of their hard-earned campaign money, Commissioner Ellis only gave about $6,500.00 to the HCDP, which was nothing for a man with more than $6 million in his campaign account.
