There are a lot of folks working diligently to turn what are supposed to be “NON-PARTISAN” races for the FBISD School Board into “PARTISAN” races divided along political party lines. However, Saturday, May 4, 2019, should not be about Republicans or Democrats – it should be about electing proven candidates who have demonstrated a consistent commitment to placing FBISD’s children first. And to this end, Trustee Jim Rice (Position #3) and Trustee Dave Rosenthal (Position #7) have both consistently demonstrated that they are committed to focusing on the knowledge, skills, and character development of all FBISD students. Trustee Jim Rice and Trustee Dave Rosenthal have done this by working alongside their fellow board members to provide policies, oversight, and support to ensure continued district growth and improvement, that's consistent with the overall mission of the FBISD board as detailed in their mission statement.
