Sheriff Hickman is the incumbent in this race. The (DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY RUNOFF) for Harris County Sheriff will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 between Ed Gonzalez and Jerome Moore to decide who will represent the Democratic Party on the Tuesday, November 8, 2016 General Election ballot.
