The early voting numbers for these (HCAD) Harris Central Appraisal District "RUNOFF RACES" are way too low given the fact that the (HCRP) Harris County Republican Party is endorsing (2) candidates (Kyle Scott and Ericka McCrutcheon) and the (HCDP) Harris County Democratic Party is endorsing (2) candidates (Pelumi Adeleke and Melissa Noriega) for Saturday, June 15, 2024.
I’m Aubrey R. Taylor, the Houston Business Connections Newspaper publisher and investigative reporter. I have conducted investigations in Harris County, Texas, since the 1990s and plan to closely monitor the “ABSENTEE BALLOT FLOW” between now and Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the upcoming Presidential Election in Harris County, Texas.
Day One - 1,702 Absentee Mail Ballots returned and 1,428 In-Person Votes for the HCAD Runoff Elections for Harris County
AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©
From what I can see, people are burnt out on these elections. However, the same could hold true in November if we aren't careful. If I had to take a wild guess, the two Republicans (Kyle Scott and Ericka McCrutcheon) are leading the (HCAD) Harris Appraisal District Runoffs.
Remember, last time, the Democrats jumped out to an early lead with the absentee mail ballots, but as of today, none of the "ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOTS" are being mailed back into the Harris County Clerk's Office.
Only 1,702 of the more than 38,313 absentee mail ballots sent out have been returned. Comparatively speaking, 1,428 registered voters went to the polls to vote in person.
So, when you get right down to it, former President Donald J. Trump's conviction on 34 felony counts last week did not inspire a ground-swell of Republican voters to flock to the polls to make a statement of any kind today. However, we still have eight days of early voting left. Election day voting will occur on "JUNETEENTH," Saturday, June 15, 2024.
The Harris County Republican Party Chairman (Cindy Seigel) has endorsed Kyle Scott and Ericka McCrutcheon, and the Chairman (Mike Doyle) has endorsed Pelume Adeleke and Melissa Noriega.

“CLOSING THOUGHTS.”
In the general election (Saturday, May 4, 2024), the Houston Business Connections Newspaper endorsed Kyle Scott and Ericka McCutcheon in their respective races. However, given how divisive and polarizing local politics have become, we are not endorsing any candidates this time.
On behalf of Aubrey R. Taylor Communications, the publisher of Houston Business Connections Newspaper, I would like to wish Kyle Scott (Republican), Melissa Noriega (Democrat), Ericka McCutcheon (Republican), and Pelumi Adeleke (Democrat) the best in their endeavor to win their respective races for HCAD, Director, At-Large, Place 2, and HCAD, Director, At-Large, Place 3, on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Harris County, Texas.
