Eric Black Jr. will appear in the 176th District Court in Harris County, Texas on Monday, January 7, 2019. The presiding judge for the 176th District Court is Judge Nikita V Harmon. The Honorable Judge Nikita V. Harmon was elected to the bench back in the Tuesday, November 4, 2016, Presidential Election.

Eric Black Jr., according to published reports is scheduled to appear in the 176th District Court in Harris County, Texas with his public defender sometime tomorrow, Monday, January 7, 2019. So in case you don’t know, the presiding judge for the 176th District Court is Democratic Judge Nikita V. Harmon who was elected into office back on Tuesday, November 4, 2016, in the Democratic sweep of Harris County, Texas. 

Don’t know who Eric Black Jr., is? Well, Eric Black Jr. is the 20-year old African American male charged with capital murder in connection to the death of Jazmine Barnes. Jazmine is the 7-year-old African American girl who got fatally shot a little over a week ago while in the car with her mother and other siblings in northeast Houston. While Black was not the shooter, he provided authorities with valuable information about the actual shooter. And he also told authorities exactly where to locate the gun at his home, according to published reports.
