Democratic Early In-Person Voters Are Still Outpacing Republican Party In-Person Early Voters through the First Five Days of Early Voting in Harris County, Texas

Neither major political party in Harris County is putting up great overall numbers considering Harris County has well over 2 million voters and the combined early voting numbers only stand at 65,244 total votes. But make no mistake about it, so far Democrats in Harris County, Texas are proving that they are serious about showing the world that their sweep of all the countywide seats back in the 2016 Presidential Election wasn't a fluke. Yesterday marked the beginning of the 7AM to 7PM cycle of early voting -- except for today! The polls will open at 1PM and close at 6PM on today, Sunday, February 25, 2018. Then from Monday, February 26th through Friday, March 2nd the polls will open at 7AM and close at 7PM.
DEMOCRATS TURN IN LARGEST TURNOUT SO FAR
On yesterday, Saturday, February 24, 2018, the Harris County Democratic Party turned in the biggest day of in-person voters so far -- with 6,142 Democrats going to the polls to vote in person. The Harris County Republican Party turned in 4,677 in-person voters on Saturday, February 24, 2018. So far, 22,252 Democrats have gone to the polls to vote in-person through the first five days of early voting. Comparatively speaking, 20,730 Republicans have gone to the polls to vote in-person through the first five days of early voting. But keep in mind, that when you throw in the "MAIL-IN BALLOTS" the Republican Party Primary "VOTER PARTICIPATION" is still greater than that of the Democrats in Harris County, Texas. Overall, the "TOTAL HARRIS COUNTY EARLY VOTER PARTICIPATION" for Republicans stands at 33,372 total votes through the first four days of early voting. On the contrary, the "TOTAL HARRIS COUNTY EARLY VOTER PARTICIPATION" for Democrats stands at 31,872 total votes through the first four days of early voting.
