Mayor Annise Parker, Houston City Council Members Opt to Change City Alcohol Sales Rules inside the City of Houston
BULLETIN – A move by Houston City Council and Mayor Annise Parker to loosen regulations governing alcohol sales could benefit low-income and traditionally under-served neighborhoods in the city of Houston.
For many years, the sale of alcohol has been banned within 300 feet of churches, public schools, or public hospitals operating in the city of Houston.
