Was Judge Darrell Jordan Acting on Behalf of His Boss, Commissioner Rodney Ellis When Setting Up the Zoom Meeting With Candice?

Commissioner Rodney Ellis gave Judge Darrell Jordan, Jr. the presiding judge for Harris County Criminal Court at Law #16 a check for $5,000.00 in the form of a donation not too long ago. Commissioner Ellis' campaign finance report categorized the payment as a donation, so I don't know what the money paid to Judge Darrell Jordan, Jr. was used for. Now, just for the record, Dr. Candice Matthews met with Commissioner Rodney Ellis and got his blessing, prior to the airing of her show a little more than a week ago. Did money change hands? Was other information shared? What impact did Dr. Candice Matthews revealing to Commissioner Rodney Ellis that she knew about the contract with Texas Prisons have on him? Did it give Dr. Candice Matthews some sort of leverage over Commissioner Rodney Ellis? Hell, is her account of what happened even true? I don't have the answers to these questions yet. But one thing I do know is that after Commissioner Rodney Ellis appeared on her show, Dr. Candice Matthews for a brief moment started to rise to a new level among so-called political elites in Harris County, Texas. But as the old saying goes, "WHAT GOES UP MUST COME DOWN." And as for Dr. Candice Matthews, the wind is coming out of her sail pretty quickly. Hell, that girl is in a free-fall right now. I'm willing to bet that she's going to get kicked off that show in the very near future. However, not to worry, Dr. Candice Matthews has found herself a powerful ally amongst the Harris County Criminal Court at Law judges named Judge Darrell Jordan, Jr. who elevated her status (somewhat) with his attempt to broker a meeting between Dr. Matthews, and the misdemeanor judges that was rejected by Judge Erica Hughes, County Criminal Court at Law #3 and all of her fellow "BLACK FEMALE JUDGES" in Harris County, Texas -- from the get-go. And as far as I'm concerned, there's not even the smell of smoke whereas the "BLACK FEMALE JUDGES" are concerned, thanks to the fast-acting Judge Erica Hughes. In case you don't know, a local attorney by the name of Maria Casanova initially signed up to run against Judge Darrell Jordan, Jr., back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, but her application was rejected by the Harris County Democratic Party. However, Judge Darrell Jordan, Jr. is not out of the woods just yet. He will have to face off against Former Republican Judge Bill Harmon on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in the general election.

Thirst for Power, Coupled With Selfish Ambition and Greed Could be the Culprit; Commissioner Rodney Ellis and His Cohort, Judge Darrell Jordan, Jr. Almost Put the Black Female Judges in Tough Spot

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Based on the new information I received late last night, it is evidently clear that Judge Erica Hughes and her fellow “BLACK FEMALE JUDGES” immediately rebuffed the attempt of Judge Darrell Jordan, Jr. to arrange a “ZOOM MEETING” between the “BLACK FEMALE JUDGES,” Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo, and Dr. Candice Matthews with the “AS THEY SEE ME” – Speaking Truth to Power podcast. Just as a tipster had alerted me, a “ZOOM MEETING” was indeed being arranged to take place on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at 3:00PM by Judge Darrell Jordan, Jr. one of Commissioner Rodney Ellis’ subordinates in the judicial ranks. Judge Jordan is the presiding judge for County Criminal Court at Law #16, in case you don't know. “Dr. Candice Matthews is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting,” the message from Judge Darrell Jordan read that was sent out to the misdemeanor judges. “Topic: Dr. Candice Matthews’ Personal Meeting Room,” explained Judge Darrell Jordan in his message that was sent out to the misdemeanor judges. “Thursday at 3:00pm we have a meeting with Art,” explains Judge Darrell Jordan, referring to whom we believe to be Art Acevedo, Houston’s Chief of Police. But "THANK GOD FOR JUDGE ERICA HUGHES" and her quick action. She's a brilliant young woman with a military background who is wise beyond her years. So, as the story goes, the planned meeting that had been scheduled by Judge Darrell Jordan between the misdemeanor judges was never agreed to by Judge Erica Hughes or any of the other misdemeanor judges in Harris County, Texas. Let me make myself perfectly clear here, the "ZOOM MEETING" planned with Dr. Candice Matthews, by Judge Darrell Jordan, Jr. was rejected, and did not happen!!! Nor will it happen in the future! “Who is we, and why is it with someone else?” asked Judge Erica Hughes. So, from what we can see, none of the judges did anything wrong here. And I must add that many of these judges are young, but they are much wiser than a lot of people give them credit for. However, this whole scheme concocted by Judge Darrell Jordan, Jr. and whoever else was involved, begs to question, whether Commissioner Rodney Ellis was playing his role as "PUPPET MASTER #1" behind this ill-conceived scheme that could have landed these honorable "BLACK FEMALE JUDGES" in some serious trouble if it had actually been carried out? And if Commissioner Ellis was behind this, why would he allow Judge Darrell Jordan to coordinate such a meeting involving these black judges, the Chief of Police and Dr. Candice Matthews? Especially, when 99% of these judges didn’t even know who Dr. Candice Matthews "PUPPET MASTER #2" was? Never mind the fact, that Dr. Candice Matthews, "PUPPET MASTER #2" doesn't even have one ounce of relevant experience in the area of criminal justice reform that would even prove fruitful to these misdemeanor judges if the meeting had taken place as scheduled. Nor does "PUPPET MASTER #2" have any tangible or measurable experience that these misdemeanor judges don’t already possess among themselves. To this end, please note that this has all occurred after Commissioner Rodney Ellis’ appearance on Dr. Candice Matthews’ “AS THEY SEE ME” – Speaking Truth to Power podcast a little over a week ago. So, why would Judge Darrell Jordan, Jr. do this? Well, I can’t say for sure. But one thing that nobody can deny is the fact that Judge Darrell Jordan and Commissioner Rodney Ellis are tight -- they're boys. And the fact that Commissioner Rodney Ellis gave Judge Darrell Jordan the max amount that he could (transparently) back in 2019, to support his campaign is something that can't be ignored. What was that money for Commissioner Rodney Ellis?

Commissioner Rodney Ellis Has His Tentacles Connected to Almost Every Level of Our Local Government That You Could Imagine

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

If you ask me, Commissioner Rodney Ellis is the most powerful man in Harris County, Texas. Nobody else is even close. But for the life of me, I cannot understand why in the hell he hasn't been fully investigated for his connection to what many feel is stolen art. I just can't understand this. What we're witnessing is pure madness! Okay, I'm back. Anyways, if you take a moment to review a few of the connections he has across the political spectrum you can clearly see, how he's living up to his role as "PUPPET MASTER #1" as he's been labeled by me.

We have not forgotten about that Priceless Art Commissioner Rodney Ellis...

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Where's the paperwork for that priceless artwork Commissioner Rodney Ellis? You know, the “PRICELESS AFRICAN ART” that they still can’t find the paperwork for – stop playing! “This woman, Candice Matthews came on to our show dragging Ellis through the mud man,” explains the “5 Star General.” According to him, Dr. Candice Matthews is the one who claimed to have information that Commissioner Rodney Ellis was smuggling diamonds in the artwork,” he says. Yep, that claim was made right on Facebook -- I heard it myself.

THE 'PRICELESS' AFRICAN ART HAS NO PAPER TRAIL

Commissioner Ellis is really smart. But just how smart is he? Well, that depends on who you ask. And he’s surrounded himself with some really smart people too. Right? How smart are they? Well, apparently not too smart if you ask me. Why? Well, back when Commissioner Rodney Ellis’ spokesperson, Maureen Haver was initially asked by KPRC 2 about the “PRICELESS AFRICAN ART,” she said, “We currently are warehousing an African art collection that we have an agreement with that was approved by Commissioners Court, a couple of years ago,” according to published reports. As it turns out, that was only partially true. The agreement she was alluding to was related to 14 pieces of African Art in county buildings – not the hundreds of pieces found in the county shed – with no paperwork. Remember former Harris County Judge Ed Emmett? Well, he’s currently working as a KPRC 2 political analyst, among other things. According to him, the aforementioned agreement was signed back in 2018. But according to Emmett, the agreement did not reflect what was going on inside the shed. Emmett was also quoted in the report as saying, "A lot of money got spent on a building, clearly to make it so that it could be used to store this art collection." And he went on to say, "The art collection doesn't belong to the county. The art collection wasn't even on loan to the county," explained Emmett. Also, don’t forget that Ellis’ staff did not provide receipts detailing how much money was spent to create the storage space, according to what I read in the KPRC 2 report.

This could make the runoff showdown between Constable Sherman Eagleton and former Precinct 3 Constable Ken Jones one of the most intriguing races on the entire May 26th Democratic runoff ballot. Why? Well, at first glance it would appear that Constable Sherman Eagleton is the clear, and decisive "FRONT-RUNNER" heading into the runoff showdown. However, when you take into account that Eric Reed received 1,810 votes for 8.58% of the vote; Deborah Florus received 3,279 votes for 15.54% of the vote; Michael (Poppy) Pappillion received 913 votes for 4.33% of the vote, and Ken Jones himself received 3,391 votes for 16.07% of the vote, it isn't difficult to see that the "RUNOFF SHOWDOWN" between Constable Eagleton and Ken Jones won't be as lopsided as their Democratic Primary was back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Another key factor to pay close attention to is the fact that only 23,896 votes were cast back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the race for Harris County Constable for Precinct 3. Why is this significant? Well, according to the Harris County Clerk's Office, there are 197,063 registered voters in Precinct 3 who could potentially turn out on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. So both Constable Sherman Eagleton (the current Constable for Precinct 3) and Ken Jones (the former Constable for Precinct 3) will both have their work cut out for them between now and the start of the "EARLY VOTING PERIOD" which begins on Monday, July 6, 2020, and ends on Friday, July 10, 2020, in Harris County, Texas.

Randal Newman is heading into the Tuesday, July 14, 2020, runoff election in the race for Harris County Constable Precinct 5 as the "FRONT-RUNNER" against Mark Alan Harrison. In case you don't know, Randal Newman received 23,525 votes back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Democratic Primary, according to the "Unofficial" election returns published by the Harris County Clerk.

Mark Alan Harrison is heading into the Tuesday, July 14, 2020, runoff election in the race for Harris County Constable Precinct 5 as the "RUNNER-UP" against Randal Newman. In case you don't know, Mark Alan Harrison received 18,560 votes back on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Democratic Primary, according to the "Unofficial" election returns published by the Harris County Clerk.
