Aimee Castillo, Other Latinos Are Fed Up with All of the Crime, Corruption, in Harris County, Texas; Blaming Judges

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Crime and corruption are the key concerns for nearly every Hispanic resident of Harris County, Texas I’ve spoken with over the last two weeks. Not one Latino voter has mentioned anything to me about the recent Roe V. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973), that was recently overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court. So where does that leave us? For Democrats in Harris County, Texas, many want us now to talk about the raid on former President Donald J. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home. And many are still talking about the January 6th Hearings; but these are not the issues of concern in Harris County, Texas.

Crime. Corruption. Cronyism. Inflation. What I keep hearing over and over again is, “Something has to be done about all of this crime in Harris County, Texas.” And the next words out of the mouth of the people I’m running into on the streets is, “These judges are corrupt.” And when asked what Harris County voters need to do about the “CRIME AND CORRUPTION PROBLEM” the overwhelming response seems to be, “FIRE THE DEMOCRATIC JUDGES” on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in the upcoming Midterm Election.

Aimee Castillo doesn’t have anything good to say about local Democratic judges. Now, some folks may say that her disdain for the local judges is misguided. Others might say, “she doesn’t know how the system works.” But regardless of your political party affiliation, at some point between now and Tuesday, November 8, 2022, leaders on both sides of the political aisle had better open their eyes and ears and start listening to people like Aimee Castillo, in my opinion. “The Harris County justice system is broken,” she says.

“My brother Josh was murdered by a person on bond,” she told me at a recent Crime Stoppers meeting I attended to hear from some of the family members of crime victims. She says, “My brother Josh had a right to be out in public and not be targeted by violent criminals that Harris County judges keep allowing back out on the streets.”

Castillo isn’t alone, the “STOP HOUSTON MURDERS” PAC is planning to take on what they’re calling “SOFT-ON-CRIME DEMOCRAT JUDGES,” in the fall. Their main goal is to call attention to the skyrocketing violent crime and murder rate in the city of Houston. Secondarily, they plan to hold local Democrat judges who are running what they consider a “CATCH-AND-RELEASE PROGRAM” accountable at the ballot box when they face off against their Republican challengers on November 8th.

According to their website, “Houston area murders skyrocketed after Democrats took control of the courthouse in 2018.” And they're asking for help from the public to, Help “STOP HOUSTON MURDERS” change the direction of crime in our city.

“We want to defeat the individuals responsible for this rise in murders and crime and restore our city to its once healthy and prosperous condition,” the site goes on the state. “We want a city where our children, our parents, and our neighbors know they can safely enjoy the outdoors, where they can safely walk their neighborhoods, and where they can safely drive Houston streets and freeways.STOP

After attending their recent meeting at the CRIME STOPPERS headquarters, I decided to take a moment to learn more about this STOP HOUSTON MURDERS Political Action Committee.

According to their website, “STOP HOUSTON MURDERS” is a Super PAC comprised of various races and political persuasions; we live in different parts of Houston. Some of us have directly had loved ones – daughters, moms, sons, husbands – murdered by criminals, many out on bond. Some of us are the victims of other crimes. Others simply live here and fear for our homes, the safety of our children and grandchildren, and the future of our city. We are united on these principles.”

In her quest for answers, Aimee Castillo asked if my photographer could take a picture of her with Tami Pierce, who was also at the meeting that was held at the CRIME STOPPERS OF HOUSTON headquarters last week. Pierce has more than 12 years of law enforcement experience and is currently working as a prosecutor in Polk County. She was “Team Prosecutor of the year back in 2019,” and is currently running for the 180th Criminal District Court bench in Harris County, Texas as a Republican.

“I want for the people of Harris County to vote out all of the Democrats,” says Aimee Castillo. “I want them to vote for all of the Republicans on Tuesday, November 8, 2022,” she said. The Democrats are the problem. “We need them out of office,” declared Aimee Castillo.

THE PROBLEM

A statement on the website, “STOP HOUSTON MURDERS’ states, “Until 2018, Houston was among the safest major cities in the country, ranking 21 out of 25 major metro areas in crime.”

The site goes on to state, “Today, Houston is one of the most dangerous cities in the U.S.”

“In the first three months of 2022 alone, Houston led all cities in murders, beating even Chicago and Detroit. Hundreds of people were murdered in just the first few months of 2022 alone by career criminals who had been previously–and often repeatedly–arrested for violent crimes, then released back onto the streets on low or no-cost bonds, free to terrorize our community again,” says the site.

“And the judges–all Democrats–take years to try serious cases, leaving the perpetrators free to commit other crimes.”

“How did mostly peaceful Houston become murder city, the USA in such a short time,” the site asks. Then they go on to explain, “Democrats took control of Harris County government and courts in 2018. They promptly installed a revolving door at the courthouse with catch-and-release policies that free hardened criminals to return to Houston area streets. Their radical policies are not required by law. Those policies have been put in place by choice—by Democrat judges and others following their Party’s stated goal to “transform” policing, to abolish cash bail, and to end sentencing that is tough on crime,” the site states. Now whether this is true or not, depends on who you ask in my opinion.

“They treat criminals as victims, rather than protecting the people who are terrorized and destroyed by those criminals.”

So, all of that being said, “EARLY VOTING” for the upcoming Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Midterm Election will begin on Monday, October 24, 2022, and end on Friday, November 8, 2022, in the Lone Star State. And one of the featured “JUDICIAL RACES” on the ballot will be between Judge DaSean Jones, the Democrat, being challenged by Tami Pierce, the Republican.

"Over the course of the last few years, I've caught flack from both sides of the political aisle and have consistently been disrespected, shunned, and ignored by a lot of folks. I've also been threatened directly and indirectly since I began investigating local dirty politicians and their cronies who are committed to remaining in power by any means necessary. That being said, I am strongly encouraging you to do your own research and identify the candidates you like. Once you've developed your slate, I need for you to then, combine my slate with yours. Listen!!! The upcoming Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Midterm Election is unquestionably the most important election of our generation. And thus, propaganda, flat-out lies, and deceptive news reports are being peddled to the public like popcorn at the "RINGLING BROS AND BARNUM & BAILEY CIRCUS" on a daily basis. So, please join me in "Putting People Over Politics" as God's plan for America continues to unfold during this pivotal moment in the history of our great nation."
