Are We Witnessing Carefully Timed Political Attacks on Shawn Thierry, Ken Paxton, and Jolanda Jones, in Texas?

The strategy and timing of the possible targeted attacks being used against State Rep. Shawn Thierry (left), Attorney General Ken Paxton (center), and State Rep. Jolanda Jones (right), have some distinct similarities. If you look closely at what's unfolding at the state capital in Austin, and counties like Harris County, what you will learn is that, old allegations against public figures are oftentimes kept under wraps just so long as politicians "toe the party line" and do as they're told. That being said, if you closely look at what's unfolding with Thierry, Paxton, and Jones, they didn't run into trouble with folks inside their respective political parties until recently.

State Rep. Shawn Thierry (HD-146), has become one of the most influential lawmakers in the Texas Legislature. She will be up for reelection on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in the Democratic Party Primary race for House District 146, in Harris County, Texas.

AUBREY R. TAYLOR: "For America to remain the dominant "SUPER POWER' in the world, every warm-blooded American had better start 'PUTTING PEOPLE OVER POLITICS' at the ballot box by elevating duly-qualified God-fearing leaders into positions of authority."

Are We Witnessing Carefully Timed Political Attacks on Shawn Thierry, Ken Paxton, and Jolanda Jones, in Texas?

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Earlier today, 4 people were shot in southwest Houston, including a teenage girl between 17 to 18 years old who was found dead at the scene. Truth be told, the City of Houston has become the “DEATH CAPITAL OF AMERICA” under the leadership of the “ELLIS/TURNER POLITICAL REGIME” and Harris County, Texas has become the most corrupt county in the United States – by a wide margin.

Our state capitals and courtrooms all across America appear to have become places where political axes are being sharpened, rather than places where the people’s business is conducted. That being said, under no circumstances am I trying to pick a fight with major news media outlets – no way! But something very troubling is happening in regard to the way investigations are being conducted, and news reports are being packaged and released by newsrooms to the public.

“TARGETED ATTACKS.”

I’m not too sure that the recent coordinated media coverage, coupled with the timing of ‘old allegations’ against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, State Rep. Jolanda Jones (HD-147), and State Rep. Shawn Thierry (HD-146), isn’t meant to send a message to other politicians to ‘toe the party line’ and stay in their place.

Is it just me, or is it beginning to look like it has become open season for public officials who refuse to bend to the whims and wishes of political party bosses? Have you noticed the similarities hidden inside the timing, and coordination of the attacks and investigations into Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, State Rep. Jolanda Jones, and State Rep. Shawn Thierry, in the Texas House of Representatives?

The coordinated attacks against Paxton, Jones, and Thierry all involve “old allegations” that were only brought to light by people who appear to be ‘disgruntled staffers’ after the threesome refused to ‘toe the party line’ and play by the rules of party bosses? Either that or their ‘disgruntled staffers’ took offense to their stance on some sort of social issue.

If we are indeed witnessing, three carefully coordinated “POLITICAL HIT JOBS” of some sort, it’s becoming clear that the attack on State Rep. Shawn Thierry is being carried out by members of her political party, in conjunction with members of the LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY, who are ‘possibly disgruntled’ and upset about Thierry deciding to not “toe the party line” on the issue of issues regarding sex-change operations on underaged minors.

“OPEN YOUR EYES.”

Back on Monday, March 27, 2023, “ELLIS/TURNER POLITICAL REGIME” member Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee announced that she was running for Mayor of Houston, Texas, to succeed her fellow tribe member, Sylvester Turner, who is term-limited.

Two days after Sheila Jackson Lee announced her bid for Mayor on Monday, March 27, 2023, on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, members of State Rep. Jolanda Jones’s staff coincidentally decided to walk, citing a “HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT” as the key reasoning behind their ‘carefully-timed’ departure.

Now, State Rep. Jolanda Jones is under investigation by House Speaker Dade Phelan to see if she broke in ‘House Rules’ which has for the most part silenced the usually outspoke legislator.

Was the suspicious timing of the attack on State Rep. Jolanda Jones, a mere coincidence, or part of a larger scheme to silence State Rep. Jones, and keep her from perhaps endorsing her colleague State Senator John Whitmire (or another mayoral contender) over Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, in the upcoming Tuesday, November 7, 2023, City of Houston Mayoral Election?

In case you don’t know, State Rep. Jolanda Jones isn’t a ‘go along to get along Negro’ like Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and more than likely wouldn’t endorse Jackson Lee over state Senator John Whitmire under any circumstances – but that’s a story for another day.

At least for now, if the strategy used against Jones, was to get her to shut her mouth – it appears to have worked because she hasn’t thrown her support behind anyone in the race to succeed Mayor Sylvester Turney as of today.

“PONDER THIS.”

Back on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, Attorney General Ken Paxton made public calls and wrote a letter for House Speaker Dade Phelan to resign because he claimed that Phelan had presided over the House of Representatives while intoxicated. For the record, Paxton sent his letter to the House General Investigating Committee demanding that they look into Phelan’s actions.

Rather than Attorney General Ken Paxton getting an investigation opened into House Speaker Dade Phelan being intoxicated while presiding over the House of Representatives, he (Attorney General Ken Paxton) was notified by the House General Investigative Committee was investigating his request for $3.3 million of public money to pay a settlement resolving litigation between his office and his termination of several whistleblowers.

Back on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, Paxton called for House Speaker Dade Phelan to resign, and one day later, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, the House General Investigative Committee was not investigating Phelan, but rather, the committee was holding an emergency hearing to detail years of alleged misconduct by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, which ultimately recommended that Paxton be impeached, for crimes related to allegedly taking bribes and other official misconduct.

Was the timing of Paxton’s impeachment by the Texas House of Representatives in a 121-23 vote, on Saturday, May 27, 2023, four days after Paxton called for Phelan to resign, coincidental?

Why now? Why didn’t Attorney General Ken Paxton get impeached back in 2020, when his four staff members – James Blake Brickman, David Maxwell, Mark Penley, and Ryan Vassar filed their 372-page complaint against the embattled Texas Attorney General?

“SUSPICIOUS TIMING.”

Just like in the case of Attorney General Ken Paxton, and State Rep. Jolanda Jones, the allegations now being levied against State Rep. Shawn Thierry, are old, and are being brought to the public by people who could be “disgruntled staffers” with axes to grind.

Now, I’m in no way trying to defend the alleged actions being brought forward by the “DISGRUNTLED FORMER STAFFERS” in any way shape, or form. All I’m trying to do is point out the ‘coincidental timing’ and ‘coordinated reporting” of the allegations in the mainstream media.

According to published reports, Thierry wasn’t even surprised by her the allegations that her staff members are making against her. She believes, according to published reports, that the allegations have been spurred by her decision to break party lines to vote to ban gender-affirming care for minors.

From the way things look, it appears that all of the “DISGRUNTLED FORMER STAFFERS” who are now accusing Thierry of fostering a culture of turmoil, all appear to be either gay or bisexual if you believe Thierry. “I mean, [redacted] is gay. Yisel was bisexual. I think [redacted] told a consultant that came into the office that she was bisexual. I really just feel like a lot of this is retaliatory for my vote on SB 1,” Thierry explained to Texas Monthly in a report that was updated on Friday, June 23, 2023.

“TROUBLE AHEAD.”

As the Tuesday, November 7, 2023, City of Houston Mayoral Election draws nearer, and the filing deadline (Monday, December 11, 2023), to appear on the “SUPER TUESDAY” Democratic Party Primary ballot creeps closer, the “in-fighting” amongst Democrats in Harris County, Texas is going to become fiercer than anything we’ve seen in the past.

If you remember, the 2022 Democratic Party Primary was brutal, as “in-fighting” in the form of contested primary races led to (12) twelve, Democratic incumbent judges losing their benches before having to have to face off against their Republican rivals in the general election, which culminated on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in an Election Day, debacle, and allegations of voter suppression, and disenfranchisement in Republican strongholds.

Now, as members of the LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY, set their sights on unseating Black candidates like State Rep. Shawn Thierry, you can bet your bottom dollar, that they’re opening up a ‘can of worms’ that could trigger more “in-fighting” than they realize on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in the Harris County Democratic Party Primary, that nobody is expecting.

“COME TOGETHER.”

Every warm-blooded Houstonian who is registered to vote must take a close look at state Senator John Whitmire’s endorsement list below. From what I can see, Whitmire has a very strong cross-section of support from respected leaders and organizations. That being said, it is vitally important that “OPEN-MINDED” Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, and Independents set their political differences, and views on social issues aside and unite to defeat the “ELLIS/TURNER POLITICAL REGIME” on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the ballot box.

“Together we can make Houston better,” says State John Whitmire. And if you ask me, as it stands right now, it would be better for Houstonians to elect John Whitmire over corrupt “aSS” Sheila Jackson Lee, who will turn a blind eye to corruption (just like she’s been doing for the last 30 years) and allow her fellow members of the “ELLIS/TURNER POLITICAL REGIME” to run amuck, if she’s elected as the CEO of the City of Houston.

“IMPORTANT DATES.”

The first day to officially apply for a place on the ballot is Saturday, July 22, 2023, if you plan on running for Mayor, Houston City Controller, or Houston City Council on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in our beloved Bayou City.

The last day to file for a place on the ballot is Monday, August 21, 2023, by 5:00 p.m., for all those interested in playing an active role in the future of our great City.

“FILING APPLICATIONS.”

All applicants can officially start filling for a place on the ballot at the Mayor’s Office, that’s located at 901 Bagby, 3rd Floor, Houston, Texas, 77002, after July 22, 2023. According to the City of Houston’s website, “Applications may also be submitted via e-mail to mayor@houstontx.gov. Please note that, for applications submitted via e-mail, the filing fee or petition instead of a filing fee must still be filed in person. Please also note that the first day of the filing period is set by state law and does not move; the hours of operation for the Mayor’s Office are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.”

“FILING COSTS.”

The filing fee to run for Mayor of the city of Houston is only $1,250.00, the fee to run for Houston City Controller the filing fee is only $750.00, and the fee to run for one of the Houston City Council positions is only $500.00. "MEET JOHN."

According to his website, strong leadership and commitment to public service defines John Whitmire. He has spent his adult life working for Houstonians in our state’s Capitol, and now, John is running for Houston Mayor. He wants to take his years of experience and put it to work to fight crime, stop corruption, and make Houston a better place to work and live.

John has represented a large portion of Houston and Harris County in Austin focusing on improving public safety, economic development, and ensuring government works for the people - not special interests.

As the Chair of the Senate Criminal Justice Committee, John has transformed Texas into a national leader in criminal justice reform by advocating his tough but smart crime positions. Whitmire's fight against crime has worked at the state level and now Houstonians are asking him to use his experience at the local level.

John is known as a “can do” public servant. John often says Houston is not New York or Chicago – we are Houston. We can fix our problems.

John is an active advocate for all our first responders, and John believes we must have the best fire and police departments in the country. Furthermore, John also advocates for small businesses in Houston and across Texas by championing policies that encourage economic growth.

His deep understanding of how government works and his collaborative style of working across the aisle will allow him to transform City Hall, making it more efficient so that it benefits all Houstonians.

Houston is a large metropolitan city and John believes we should continue to grow and respect our differences. Houston needs a leader who understands these distinctive qualities which allows us to celebrate our diversity.

John Whitmire is the leader we need, and he needs your support in his run for the next Mayor of Houston.
