State Rep. Ron Reynolds (HD-27) and his fellow "FUGITIVE DEMOCRATS" did not show up at the State Capitol earlier today. The Republicans were five (5) members away from having the quorum they needed to pass the controversial "REDISTRICTING MAPS" today. Now, after State Rep. Ron Reynolds and twelve of his colleagues have been singled out and sued by Attorney General Ken Paxton, who is seeking to have their seats declared vacant by the Texas Supreme Court.

The Deadline for Democratic Lawmakers to Show Up at the State Capitol is Today; Democrats Fear Candice More than Paxton
AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©
The FBI has accepted the call action and will help corral and track down the “FUGITIVE DEMOCRATS” after receiving a request for U.S. Senator John Cornyn. This new development was published in the USA Today yesterday.
According to Senator Cornyn, FBI Director Kash Patel has accepted his request for federal officers to work with Texas state law enforcement to track down the Democratic lawmakers who fled Texas to block the redistricting efforts of Republican lawmakers.

“FEAR OF CANDICE.”
Our investigation has revealed that threats levied by “Dr.” Candice Matthew, the National Minister of Politics for Quanell X’s New Black Panther Nation, appears to have played a significant role in causing Democrat lawmakers like State Rep. Jolanda Jones (HD-147) to flee Texas and “BREAK QUORUM,” on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
Yes. You heard me right. I hate to say this publicly, but Democrat lawmakers like State Rep. Jolanda Jones appear to have caved to the threats of “Dr.” Candice Matthews, who commanded them “BREAK QUORUM” or run the risk of facing her wrath in next year’s Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Democratic Party Primaries.
At one point, I considered State Rep. Jolanda Jones to be a “STRONG BLACK WOMAN,” but not anymore. The woman known as Jolanda “Jo” Jones was left shaking in her boots when “Dr.” Candice Matthews called her out by name.
“Rep. Jolanda Jones, who advanced her own redistricting map – PLAN C2305 – without any consultation with her Democratic colleagues,” explained Candice in an Instagram post she published, calling out Jolanda.
According to Matthews, “This unilateral action undermines the collective strategy needed to protect Black and minority voting power in Texas.”
“Redistricting is not a solo endeavor or a personal playground,” Proclaimed Matthews. “It is a shared responsibility that demands collaboration, transparency, and respect for the civil-rights legacy of the Congressional District 18,” Matthews explained.
Has the once “LOUD MOUTH,” Jolanda “Jo” Jones,” met her match? Has Jolanda turned cowardly and timid in the wake of potentially facing the wrath of “Dr.” Candice Matthews?
It is too early to tell, but when “Dr.” Candice Matthews started talking about Jolanda “Jo” Jones, she straightened up her act, fell in line, and followed “Dr. Matthews’ orders.

“LOST HER TOUGHNESS.”
Over the last few days, since “Dr.” Candice Matthews got in her “A$$” State Rep. Jolanda Jones, has been jet-setting around the country talking about she’s fighting against Governor Abbott, Attorney General Paxton, and President Trump, but when “Dr.” Candice Matthews checked her, Jolanda “Jo” Jones, didn’t proved herself to be a “WUSSIE” who is all bark with no bite.
Many people who don’t know how Jolanda turned coward, still believe that State Rep. Jolanda Jones is tough, but just not as tough as Candice, who is emerging as one of the most feared women in Texas, with her “BRASH-STYLE” of talking, and intimidation tactics.
Nevertheless, so much for State Rep. Jolanda Jones, claiming to be a fighter. Maybe she was back in the day, but the Jolanda “Jo” Jones I see today is only a shell of the woman I saw chase down a car and have her foot run over many years ago.

“DEAN OF THE HOUSE.”
Is the Dean of the Texas House of Representatives afraid of “Dr.” Candice Matthews, too? I’ve always loved, admired, and respected State Rep. Senfronia Thompson, and my love and admiration for her have not changed.
I agree with many of her policies. While I don’t like the fact that she’s hoarding over $1 million in campaign cash and not doing anything of significance to support Black-owned media outlets, I still appreciate her commitment to her constituents. And I also believe that she has earned the right to make her voice heard, whether she’s right or wrong.
For the record, I want to implore anyone thinking about primarying or trying to intimidate, bully, or get aggressive with State Rep. Senfronia Thompson to think twice about doing that.
Now, “Dr.” Candice Matthews threatened to issue “PRIMARY CHALLENGES” to any Democrat State Representative who did not “BREAK QUORUM,” and she did not bite her tongue or mince words. However, State Rep. Senfronia Thompson is off limits – don’t do it.
To be clear, I am not sure if “Dr.” Candice Matthews was talking about State Rep. Senfronia Thompson (HD-141), who is 86 years old and has served in the Texas House of Representatives since 1972, when she threatened lawmakers, but I hope not.
As a refresher, State Rep. Thompson is the “DEMOCRAT LAWMAKER,” who made those controversial comments on Friday, August 1, 2025, regarding those “GOP PROPOSED” maps that will take away the 9th Congressional District.
In her comments, State Rep. Thompson alluded to the fact that the new maps could be for minorities, or something to that effect, as she came across as being supportive of the maps.
Either way, State Rep. Senfronia Thompson must at some point explain her line of reasoning and articulate to her constituents what she meant, or was trying to say, when she took to the microphone on Friday, August 1, 2025, at that redistricting hearing.

“FIGHT OR FLIGHT.”
On Sunday, August 3, 2025, a contingent of Texas Democratic Lawmakers fled the state of Texas to stop their Republican colleagues from holding a vote on their newly proposed Congressional maps. Where I’m from, running from a “GOOD FIGHT” is not an act of bravery.
Everyone has a right to defend themselves and stand their ground in Texas. But since when did fleeing from a fight become a noble deed? Listen. Since fleeing the state of Texas and making national headlines, the Democratic lawmakers have succeeded in getting their 15 seconds of fame – I’ll give them that.
However, if Democratic lawmakers are not back in Austin, Texas, tomorrow (Friday, August 8, 2025), they are going to feel the wrath of Attorney General Ken Paxton.
In a press release, Attorney General Ken Paxton announced that the continued refusal to perform legislative duties by Texas House Democrats who broke quorum on Sunday, August 3, 2025, constitutes an abandonment of the offices they currently hold.
Attorney General Ken Paxton made himself very clear in his press release: “Democrats have abandoned their offices by fleeing Texas, and a failure to respond to a call of the House constitutes a dereliction of their duty as elected officials.
“Starting Friday, any rogue lawmakers refusing to return to the House will be held accountable for vacating their office. The people of Texas elected lawmakers, not jet-setting runaways looking for headlines. If you don’t show up to work, you get fired,” stated Attorney General Ken Paxton in his recently released press release.
Dustin Burrows, the Speaker of the House, has given the “RUN-A-WAY” Democrat lawmakers until Friday, August 8, 2025, to return to Texas and present themselves before the House. “Any lawmaker who has not been arrested and returned or fails to appear by the Speaker’s deadline will be subject to aggressive legal action,” stated Burrows.

“LET THE GAMES BEGIN.”
For some reason, Governor Greg Abbott decided that he wasn’t going to wait until Friday, August 8, 2025, to act on his threat to hold “THE RING LEADER” accountable.
On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, Gov. Greg Abbott took action against State Rep. Wu. “Governor Greg Abbott today filed an emergency petition in the Supreme Court of Texas seeking to remove from office Texas State Representative Gene Wu, the ringleader of the derelict Democrats who fled the state to break quorum,” Gov. Abbott’s press release stated.
“I made clear in a formal statement on Sunday, August 3, that if the Texas House Democrats were not in attendance when the House reconvened at 3:00 PM on Monday, August 4, then action would be taken to seek their removal,” said Governor Abbott. “They have not returned and have not met the quorum requirements. Representative Wu and the other Texas House Democrats have shown a willful refusal to return, and their absence for an indefinite period of time deprives the House of the quorum needed to meet and conduct business on behalf of Texans. Texas House Democrats abandoned their duty to Texans, and there must be consequences.”
According to Governor Abbott, “The lawsuit points out how actions by Representative Wu, as well as the other Texas House Democrats who fled their legislative duties, constitute abandonment of their office, justifying their removal.”
“The lawsuit also spotlights how Wu and other Texas House Democrats appear to have solicited and received certain benefits in exchange for skipping a vote, further supporting their removal from office and allegations of bribery,” proclaimed Governor Abbott.

“NOT A GAME ANYMORE.”
While Wu and his fellow Democrats, like State Rep. Ron Reynolds, have spread out across America, their “PUSH BACK” against Texas Republicans has garnered them national attention. However, the rubber will meet the road on Friday if they are not back in Texas.
“I was proud to visit with my former colleague, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett. I couldn’t be more proud of this POWERFUL national leader FIGHTING to save our country,” proclaimed State Rep. Ron Reynolds, who represents House District 27 in Fort Bend County, Texas.
However, State Rep. Reynolds and his colleagues had better not take any of that money from former Congressman Beto O’Rourke’s Group. Why not?
According to a press release I received, Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched an investigation into Beto O’Rourke’s Group for unlawfully funding the quorum break.
“Attorney General Ken Paxton launched an investigation into Beto O’Rourke’s radical organization, Powered by People, for unlawful activity, including potentially operating an illegal financial influence scheme to bribe runaway Democrats who fled Texas to break quorum,” read the first paragraph of the press release.
“Any Democrat coward breaking the law by taking a Beto Bribe will be held accountable,” said Attorney General Paxton. “Texas cannot be bought. I look forward to thoroughly reviewing all of the documents and communications obtained throughout this investigation. These jet-setting runaways have already lost public trust by abandoning our state, and Texans deserve to know if they received illegal bribes to do it.”
The press release continued, “According to public reports, Powered by People has been one of the top groups bankrolling the Texas House Democrat members who abandoned Texans and vacated their offices. By providing these liberal lawmakers with the funds to flee the state, Powered by People may have violated bribery laws. Powered by People and the runaway Democrats may have also violated other Texas laws, including, but not limited to, those governing campaign or officeholder contributions and expenditures, coercion of a public servant, and abuse of office.”
“As part of the investigation, Attorney General Paxton has issued a Request to Examine, which demands documents and communications from the group regarding potentially unlawful activity, including its involvement in the Democrats’ scheme to break quorum.”
In closing, “Attorney General Paxton has announced that he will take aggressive legal action against runaway Democrats who do not present themselves before the House by the Speaker’s deadline of Friday,” stated Paxton’s press release.

“CLOSING THOUGHTS.”
I think those Democratic lawmakers should carefully consider coming back to Texas and doing their jobs. While I understand their position, I don’t see how running from their job duties is going to help them or the Democratic Party in the long run.

- MAKING DEMANDS -
According to "Dr." Candice Matthews, "THE DEMOCRATIC LAWMAKERS" who fled the state of Texas on Sunday, August 3, 2025, may be trying to pull a fast one on their constituents, back here in Harris County, Texas. However, "Dr." Candice Matthews, with the help of one of her sources, has exposed their "ALLEGED PLOT" to stage arrests, making it appear they are fighting, but in reality, they are trying to deceive their constituents back in the districts. That said, the cowboy-hat-wearing Nation Minister of Politics for Quanell X's New Black Panther Nation isn't having it and has commanded them to hold the line.
