2015 City of Houston Mayoral Election Candidates could really benefit from Trebor Gordon’s bravery and willingness to fight for his rights. Gordon, a 2015 candidate running for city council in the Tuesday, November 3, 2015 election has made it possible for candidates like: Attorney
Ben Hall, Council Member
Oliver Pennington, State Rep.
Sylvester Turner, Attorney
Chris Bell, Attorney
Sean Roberts, Council Member
Stephen Costello, Council Member
Jack Christie, and Attorney
Eric Dick to start raising money for their bid to become mayor of Houston.
The Game Changer
So What's Next?
All 2015 City of Houston candidates can now begin the task of raising the money they’re going to need to be competitive during this election cycle.
Are you thinking about running for office in 2015? Well, here are the seats that will be open on the Tuesday, November 3, 2015 City of Houston Mayoral Election ballot:
If you plan to run for Houston City Council for At-Large 2, At-Large 3, At-Large 5, District A, District B, District C, District D, District E, District F, District I, District J, or District K, you will more than likely have to beat a current incumbent to achieve victory on Election Day.
The Race for City Controller
As it stands right now, you should try to learn as much as you can about Businessman Bill Frazer, and Educator/Attorney Carroll G. Robinson in the race for City of Houston Controller. This seat is currently being held by Controller Ronald C. Green, who is term-limited and cannot run for re-election.
The Race for Mayor
As it stands right now, you should try to learn as much as you can about: Attorney Ben Hall, Council Member Oliver Pennington, State Rep. Sylvester Turner, Attorney Chris Bell, Attorney Sean Roberts, Council Member Stephen Costello, Council Member Jack Christie, and Attorney Eric Dick. More candidates could enter the race for mayor; but as it stands right now, I believe all of the aforementioned candidates could be on the Tuesday, November 3, 2015 City of Houston Mayoral Election ballot as mayoral candidates.
As for current City of Houston Mayor, Annise Parker, she’s term limited and cannot run for re-election in the Tuesday, November 3, 2015 Mayoral Election.
The Races for City Council Member
As it stands right now, Ambassador Trebor Gordon, Businesswoman Laurie Robinson, and Lane Lewis, Chairman for the Harris County Democratic Party are a few of the key candidates who I expect to run very competitive races for at-large city council seats in the Tuesday, November 3, 2015 City of Houston Mayoral Election.
Please Make a Mental Note
The 2015 City of Houston Mayoral Election will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2015; and there will be no straight-ticket voting in this election.
I would also like to remind you that the 2015 City of Houston Mayoral Election isn’t about Republicans or Democrats; it should be about the citizens of Houston, heading to the polls in record numbers to elect the best “PUBLIC SERVANTS” to guide the city of Houston forward.
Also, there will be no political party labels by the names of the candidates on the Tuesday, November 3, 2015 City of Houston Mayoral Election ballot, because these races are nonpartisan. Thus, doing your homework before you go to the polls to vote on Election Day is critical if you plan on making an informed and empowered voting decision on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.

"According to an ABCNews/Beliefnet Poll 83 percent of Americans identify themselves as Christians. So to this end, it makes perfect sense for us to get Christians engaged, empowered, informed, and excited about the process of choosing those who govern on the local, state, and federal levels in America. So don't forget about what Proverbs 29:2 teaches us: "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." -- AUBREY
