Judge Ursula Hall Vindicated by All Republican Texas Supreme Court; Judge Erica Hughes is A Strong Leader

We’ve got some thugs, hoodlums, and gangsters who must be removed from local politics. It’s one thing to run afoul of the law in your teens, 20s, and 30s, but it’s something else altogether to be in your 60s and still play games with your freedom.
Our criminal justice and political systems would work as designed to work in a perfect world, but we are not living in an ideal world. That said, we’ve got some “GOOD JUDGES” and some “BAD JUDGES” serving on local judicial benches – that’s true.
As a member of the press, I am supposed to wield the power to freely espouse my opinions and ideals and publish the results of my investigations without fear of retaliation, censorship, or legal sanctions. However, my First Amendment rights to “FREEDOM OF SPEECH” and “FREEDOM OF THE PRESS” have been infringed upon by a handful of corrupt public officials and their cronies who have set out to bully, harass, boycott, and intimidate me into submission – but I refuse to abandon my core mission or principles.
Let me be clear. I will not bend, bow, or cower before Gary Wade, a local henchman who appears to be working with or for Vivian King, the chief of staff for Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg, and, or her mortgage broker, Gerald Womack, the owner of Womack Development & Investment Realtors.
I’m not sure why an officer of the court, Vivian King, would be allegedly talking daily (by his admission) to a career criminal like Gary Wade in the first place. Still, Wade’s barrage of emails sent on December 10th, December 11th, December 12th, and December 13th has confirmed and made it clear that his job is to provide Vivian King and Womack with a protective shield and that he plans to “LEAN ON ME” and “PROTEST AGAINST ME” until I stop investigating and writing reports about them – but it won’t work.
In his first “THREATENING EMAIL,” Gary Wade called me a “BIT*H A$$,” nigga, and he went straight to the streets. He was also overly aggressive as he tried to draw State Senator Borris L. Miles into his “INTIMIDATION PLOT” that appears to be masterminded by Womack and King, as their scheme to discredit me has mostly fallen apart.

Thanks to former prizefighter turned businessman Eric Carr, a phone conference between myself and State Senator Borris L. Miles took place, where State Senator Borris L. Miles assured me that Gary Wade took it upon himself to drag him (State Senator Miles) into his “INTIMIDATION PLOT,” for some reason.
With State Senator Borris L. Miles no longer a suspect, I have asked my chief investigator, Charles “Chuck” Marler, to assist me in uncovering whether any other local “PUBLIC OFFICIALS” are part of Gary Wade’s plot to harass, bully, and intimidate me.
At this time, we are not sure if we’re dealing with a crackhead, or a former drug dealer, with Gary Wade, but I am confident that former FBI Investigative Specialist Charles “Chuck” Marler will be able to figure things out for me.
Chuck has extensive experience when it comes to dealing with drug cartels, terrorists, and espionage targets, so I’m sure he’s not afraid of the crackheads and other criminals roaming around in the back alleyways of Harris County politics.

After being publicly humiliated for months, on Friday, December 13th, 2024, Judge Ursula Hall was vindicated of the charges against her by the “ALL REPUBLICAN” Texas Supreme Court.
“The Texas Supreme Court vindicates a good Black Harris County District judge, Ursula Hall (no relation)…,” read a text message I received from Attorney Benjamin Hall, III, a Harvard Law School graduate who holds a Ph.D. degree from Duke University.
According to Attorney Hall, local judges get bashed constantly, but their later vindications get ignored. What is he talking about?
For full transparency, I published copies of the compelling “PUBLIC REPRIMANDS” levied against Judge Ursula Hall a few months ago. However, in the spirit of fairness, I believe it’s equally important to let the public know that Judge Hall is vindicated.
I’m not sure how her dismissal would have impacted her re-election bid, but if it had come sooner, it could have painted a different picture of her.
“A TOUGH ROAD.”
Over the years, the local Harris County Courts have been severely lacking balance when it came to ethnic minorities in general, and African Americans in particular, being allowed to go before judges who looked like them – that’s a fact.
For many years, the only “BLACK JUDGES” sitting on benches in Harris County got elected from the “GOP” side of the aisle. However, in the 2018 Midterm Election, Judge Erica Hughes and her “BLACK GIRL MAGIC” sisters captured the most significant sweeping victories African-Americans have ever enjoyed in America.
The success of Judge Erica Hughes, who seized the Harris County Criminal Court at Law No. 3 bench from Judge Natalie C. Fleming during the “BLACK GIRL MAGIC” sweep on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018, angered folks from both sides of the political aisle.
A high-goal achiever, Judge Erica Hughes did not rest on her laurels once she secured the County Criminal Court at Law No. 3 bench. After serving a short while on a County Criminal Court at Law No. 3 bench, United States Attorney General Merrick Garland gave Judge Hughes a massive vote of confidence and appointed her as a Federal Judge.
Earlier this year, Judge Erica Hughes decided to come back to the Harris County courts and be amongst her sisters once again. She challenged Judge Mike Engelhart, a darling of the Harris County Democratic Party (HCDP), and Mike Doyle, the chairman and treasurer for the HCDP, who wasn’t happy about it allegedly secretly conspired with others to keep Judge Hughes and other African American women off the ballot.
What most folks don’t know is that it was the “ALL REPUBLICAN” Texas Supreme Court justices who stepped in and allowed the “AFRICAN AMERICAN” Democrat Judicial nominees to remain on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024, Democratic Party Primary ballot, but their achievement came at a price.
An LGBTQ+ Attorney named Ben L. Aderholt became so enraged at Judge Erica Hughes that he sent her a letter calling her an animal – I’m not joking.
The law firm he worked for at the time, Coats Rose, terminated him. “I was shocked and surprised to receive that letter,” said Judge Erica Hughes.
“Calling me Erica, as if we are friends or as if he knows me, started off in the wrong direct. The letter progresses and gets progressively worse,” explained Judge Hughes in an interview with Fox26’s Damali Keith.
Judge Hughes said, “The ‘animals’ part stands out to me, that an individual in 2024 would show such disdain for an individual they’ve never met.”
But as with the “BLACK GIRL MAGIC PHENOMENON” and their collective success, Judge Erica Hughes, a Black woman, having the audacity to challenge Judge Mike Engelhart, a veteran White male, angered folks from both sides of the political aisle, but especially Michael P. “MIKE” Doyle, who is a practicing attorney who has clients with cases inside local courtrooms, including the 151st Civil District Court, which Judge Erica Hughes will be the presiding judge for on January 1st, 2025 – but that’s a story for another day.
“LOOKING AHEAD.”
I implore African American community leaders, stakeholders, elected officials, and public servants to start paying closer attention to the “LOCAL NEWS REPORTS” over the next few months as we enter into the most consequential “JUDICIAL ELECTION CYCLE” in American history. “TWENTY-SIX BLACK JUDGES” are up for re-election (all at once) in Harris County, Texas.
In America’s illustrious history, there have never been (26) twenty-six African American judiciary members all up for re-election simultaneously. To make matters even more concerning, only two African American male incumbents are in the group of “BLACK INCUMBENT JUDGES,” which is comprised of (24) twenty-four Black females and only (2) two African American males.
Suppose Judge DaSean Jones (Democrat), loses his 180th Civil Disrict Court bench on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2025, against Tami C. Pierce (Republican). In that case, only one African American male judge will be up for re-election. Judge Sedrick T. Walker, II, the presiding judge for County Criminal Court at Law No. 11, would be the lone African American male incumbent judge up for re-election in the 2026 Midterm Election if Judge DaSean Jones is unseated by Tami C. Pierce on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2025, in the upcoming Uniform Election.
