Candice has Seized Control of Commissioner Rodney Ellis's Wing of the Harris County Democratic Party

Commissioner Rodney Ellis has been compromised after welcoming the woman known as "Dr." Candice Matthews into the fold of his influential "POLITICAL REGIME," a few years ago. But not long before she was allowed in, Candice double-crossed Ellis and other members of his regime by catching them on secretly recorded audio conversations. Yes, once Commissioner Ellis allowed Candice into his regime, she began secretly recording Commissioner Ellis and other local Democrats, and has successfully used extortion, blackmail, and other alleged mafia-style tactics to seize control of the "ELLIS WING" of the Harris County Democratic Party. It is unclear at this time if Judge Rabeea Collier, the presiding judge for the 113th Civil District Court, is one of Commissioner Ellis's judges. However, Judge Audrie Lawton-Evans, the presiding judge for Harris County Civil Court at Law No.1, has been bought and paid for by Commissioner Ellis. IN ELLIS'S POCKET... On Friday, January 7, 2022, at 3:00 P.M., the woman known as "Dr." Candice Matthews and her attorney submitted a "FORGED DOCUMENT" into the court record for the 113th Civil District Court, which is presided over by Judge Rabeea Callier. The "FAKE APOLOGY LETTER," that was supposedly signed by Beverly Enecio, was never signed by Enecio, who, upon further investigation, supplied detailed documentation to back up every claim she made to Aubrey R. Taylor, the CEO of Aubrey R. Taylor Communications, publisher of Houston Business Connections Newspaper.

Candice has gone "BUCK-WILD," since she and her allies conducted an investigation on Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis and dug up dirt on him, which enabled her to seize control of his regime. In the secretly recorded low-grade audio above, "Dr." Candice Matthews discusses how she seized total control of Commissioner Rodney Ellis by making him aware that she had information about him owning stocks in Texas prisons, and how Ellis was interfering with the Black Churches' money, or something to that effect. 

Judge Audrie Lawton-Evans, the presiding judge for Harris County Civil Court at Law No. 1, is up for re-election in the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election. While Judge Audrie Lawton-Evans should not be re-elected, the jury is still out on her fellow Democratic Civil Court At-Law colleagues. As of today, Lawton-Evans is the only County Civil Court At-Law Judge whom we believe Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis has complete control over.

It is not clear at this time how many local judicial Democratic incumbent judges will have a challenger in next year's Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Democratic Party Primary. Still, Judge Audrie Lawton-Evans should not be allowed to run uncontested on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, or in the general election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in Harris County, Texas.

The 2026 Midterm Election provides the people of Fort Bend County and Harris County with a unique opportunity to pluck out the "BAD APPLES" and replace them with "GOOD APPLES" in judicial races up and down the ballot.

For the record, the woman known as "Dr." Candice Matthews has been committing fraud upon local Harris County courts, threatening judges, and terrorizing Texas citizens for long enough. 

How can I drop a lawsuit that I did not file?

Anyways, after Candice Matthews dropped her lawsuit against me, she and her attorney named of Jimmie L. Brown Jr., (Bar Card Number: 03141210) immediately began to use bullying tactics against "THE ENECIO FAMILY" because they were fully aware that James and Beverly Enecio didn’t have the financial means (at the time) to fight back.

At the time, attorney Brown and “THE FAKE DOCTOR” dropped their lawsuit against Beverly Enecio, who was expecting a child and was under severe duress. And sadly, she eventually suffered a miscarriage due to the emotional distress, anguish, and mental turmoil that she and her family were forced to endure at the hands of Candice Matthews.

As a result of the pressure tactics used by Candice Matthews and her attorney Jimmie L. Brown, Jr., a “FAKE APOLOGY LETTER” was placed in the court record. Why is it fake? Well, the letter in question was never signed by Beverly Enecio, from what she told me. After she discovered that there was a so-called “APOLOGY LETTER” defaming me and my reporting, she called me crying and asked, “How could this happen?”

Anyone looking at this so-called “APOLOGY LETTER” should be able to quickly see that it’s a fake. Why is it a fake? Well, the bulk of the information I published on my blog about Candice Matthews came from court records and other supportive material.

What is “THE FAKE DOCTOR” trying to hide? Well, back on January 10, 2014, a woman by the name of Candice Denise Ward Enecio (Dr. Candice Matthews) submitted an “Application for Child Care Administrator License or Child-Placing Agency Administrator License” with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

Now, on “PAGE ONE” of the application, Candice Denise Ward Enecio (Dr. Candice Matthews) stated that she had obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Southern California. She also claimed that she had attended this prestigious university from January 2002 through June 2005 and majored in Educational Leadership, which is a lie.

Candice Matthews also claimed to have received her Master of Education degree and Bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Temple University, which is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She claims to have earned her Master’s Degree from Temple University in one year, from December 2020 through December 2001, and claims to have earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Temple University from August 1996 through January 2000 – which is a complete fabrication.

How do I know that Candice Matthews, “THE FAKE DOCTOR,” was defrauding the State of Texas? Well, as part of my investigation into the illegal activities of Candice Matthews, I reached out to the University of Southern California (USC). I received confirmation that “THE TRANSCRIPT” that was submitted inside “THE APPLICATION” submitted to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services by Candice Denise Ward Enecio was a complete fake – she never attended USC.

To verify my claim, that the (Ph.D.)., that Candice Matthews claims to have obtained from the University of Southern California is fake, call (213)740-8500, or send a fax to, (213)821-3724, directed to Stephanie Murguia, the Associate Registrar of Academic Records.

An email can be forwarded to smuguia@usc.edu, to confirm that “THE TRANSCRIPT” submitted in “THE APPLICATION” to the State of Texas by Candice Matthews is a fake.

Why was the educational background fabricated by Candice Denise Ward Enecio? Well, to become a Licensed Child-Care or Licensed Child Placing Administrator in the State of Texas, you must submit evidence that you have a Master's Degree, Doctoral Degree, or a Bachelor’s Degree with at least two years of full-time child care or related work experience.

This is the sticky note that was attached to "THE FRAUDULENT TRANSCRIPT," which was used by Candice Denise Ward Enecio to obtain a state license from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Anyone who receives a legitimate degree from a university could easily request another copy. 

VERIFICATION STEP #1: In my capacity as an "INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER," I, (Aubrey R. Taylor), reached out to the University of Southern California to verify whether "THE TRANSCRIPT" used by Candice Denise Ward Enecio was authentic. 

VERIFICATION STEP #2: After a series of exchanges with the registrar's office at USC, they stated that they could only honor my request with a release from Candice Denise Ward Matthews. You can "CLICK HERE" to see "THE FRAUDULENT TRANSCRIPT" for yourself.

VERIFICATION STEP #3: After I explained to "THE ASSOCIATE REGISTRAR" for Academic Records & Registrar for the University of Southern California, she responded by saying, "We have no record of this individual attending USC." So, for the record, "THE TRANSCRIPT" provided by Candice Denise Ward Enecio is a fake. 

As of today, the only candidates officially running for the 18th Congressional District of Texas are Christian Menefee, Amanda Edwards, Isaiah Martin, Cyrus Sajna, Carmen Maria Montiel, Steven Peter Filler, Robert Slater, Khristopher W. Beal, Derrel Sherrod Turner, Dr. James Joseph, Kivan Polimis, Earnest Clayton, Selena Samuel, TJ Baker, Ebony Rain Eatmon, Dr. Allen Berry, Zoe Cadore, Reyna Anderson, Corisha Rogers, Jolanda Jones, Stephen Huey, Lizette Prestwich, and George Foreman, IV, have all filed their "STATEMENT OF CANDIDACY" with the Federal Election Commission.
